31. #9 - Mark.....Hashem loves all his children
Craig ,   USA   (10.18.06)
Mark... It isn't a question of love, but of obedience and righteousness. It is true that God is not pleased by the death of anyone, and yet he destroyed all in Soddom & Gamorah except a few who were obedient to his command to live righteously. In Genesis God rejects Cain's offering because it wasn't what God required. God asks him why he is angry, and tells him if he will provide the prescribed offering that all would be well and his offering would be acceptable. But Cain refused to repent of his willfullness, he refused to conform and was unwilling to acknowledge that if God says something, then that is the end of it. Cain decided to harden his heart and become insolent. You my friend are repeating the sin of Cain. Our (us humans) required offering is obedience and righteousness...as much as we are able. We are required to confess when we fail and struggle against sin (sin being thoughts and actions contrary to God's teachings). The gay community has become insolent in that it tells God that their desires and lifestyle is acceptable. They harden their hearts and refuse to repent. Instead, the gays wish to flont their sin in the very land which God has claimed as His own; and many secular Jews in Israel are complicit in the insult to God by failing to speak out against this travesty. I wish you the best Mark, you have a heavy cross to bare, a tough race, that I can not fully understand. But that doesn't mean that you can simply disregard God's clear teaching in Scripture. God is patient and long-suffering...not wishing any to perish. But you can only provoke Him for so long. If God allows your sin, then what about other sins by people...what about the pedophile who says he was born with these desires? You must become like the alcoholic who gets up everyday and says: "I am an alcoholic but today I won't drink" But if you cannot change...so be it. it is your life and God has indeed given free will. But for heaven's sake don't tempt God by insisting on flonting your lifestyle in God's city. Israel will eventually bare the wrath of God if the majority of Israelites continue in their complicity. In Old Testament Scripture God would punish indirectly by removing His Glory and protection from Israel. It isn't about love. God loves you enough to give you His desires in Scripture and time to repent. May God Bless all Israel.
32. The 2006 Gay Pride Parade must be STOPPED!
Jew to Fellow Jews ,   Ra'anana Israel   (10.18.06)
The 2006/7/8/...... Gay Pride Parade must NOT happen! There are Jewish programs that help Jewish men and women with gay tendencies address these issues in an appropriate way. I am not saying that it is easy but these programs can help.
33. #32 Gays are not asking you to change
Mark ,   USA   (10.18.06)
Stop telling us to change. Treat us with basic respect and kindness. Please have a heart.
34. March Proud in Jerusalem!
Adam ,   New York, USA   (10.18.06)
I am proud to be both gay AND Jewish. I marched in the 2005 Gay Pride Parade in Jersusalem and I have been to Shushan -- the only gay club in Jerusalem -- many times. I certainly saw my fair share of Heredim at the bar on Friday nights smoking cigarettes and drinking. Perhaps the Heredim should worry less about gay Jews who live their lives truthfully in the eyes of G-d and be more concerned with those who live as deceitful cowards. Better yet, maybe they should stop inciting violence and instead promote peace in the Land of Israel. Now that would truly be living in the path of Ha-Shem!
35. #32 Hashem created us in his image
Mark ,   USA   (10.18.06)
Hashem does not create junk. We have been blessed twice. Hashem loves all people.
36. We need more gay bars in Israel
Mark ,   USA   (10.18.06)
We want a right to marry. We want that right now! Free us from bondage.
37. Gay people make Jerusalem holy
Mark ,   USA   (10.18.06)
Ha-shem says he will bless those that bless us. All I hear is cursing. We are being treated with disrespect.
38. Haredim: Ha-shem is watching Behave!
Mark ,   USA   (10.19.06)

39. Chabad: Welcome all Gay Jews
Mark ,   USA   (10.19.06)
Reach out to all Jews.
40. rally folly
nancy richards ,   carrollton, tx, usa   (10.19.06)
tolerance or compromise, however you read it, is the same as enabling the sinner to stay in his denial state that God has changed His mind and what He said was an abomination has now become acceptable.
41. Eyda Hypocrites!!
Dovy ,   Toronto   (10.19.06)
The leadership of this protest is sickening. All they worry about is the parade and are SILENT about the crimes of Zionism all over!! They are hypocrites. Shame on them for citing Rabbi Wasserman!! They are no better than Mizrachi or Agudah!
42. #41 Shows your racism and your sickening anti Jewish behavio
Mizrahi Rocks ,   Israel   (10.19.06)
So you hate all Jews from Middle Eastern countries. And you are in Toronto talking and insulting Jews in Israel, nice, go get a job and stop waisting your time commenting on freaking ynet talkbacks.
43. G-d likes Gays like he likes Amalek
(10.19.06)
Dead and Deceased G-d created man in his image, but what have you done to his image, corrupted it and spoiled it or have you remained presitly and holy. If you want to prance go to Sodom. Mark: and I laugh at you because you are there in USA, neglected coming to ynet talkbacks everysingle article and spew your rants about this and that. You have no power, I am sure that by waisting time you are doing a great service to your Judaism and to G-d. PS: G-d asked us to have children (to procreate), you cant. PSS: Have fun in 20 years when we come into power, we will silence you as you have silenced us.

46. this article convinced me to not be religious anymore
ari ,   los angeles, ca   (10.19.06)
after reading about the disgraceful and unholy behavior of the haredim in israel, i have to decided to no longer be an observant jew and will no longer subscribe to that way of life. it would be shameful to associate myself in any way with those who cast aspersions and judgment upon fellow jews. this is lashon hara and i can't be associated with these people or their way of life anymore. the torah must be wrong if this is truly what it teaches. the signs are clear.
47. ooops...#31 for Mark, USA.. not #9...
Craig ,   USA   (10.19.06)
48. Leave me the hell alone!
Not Interested! ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.19.06)
I am a NON-GAY, 100% straight, kippa-wearing IDF veteran who happens to live near the "Shushan" club. Stop humping each other and smoking dope in my stairwell, stop ogling me, stop groping me as I try to make my way upstairs, stop telling me I am "in denial" when I rebuff your advances, stop calling me a "homophobe" when I turn down your invitations. LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!

(10.19.06)
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COMMENT !
53. #46 Yeah,. I am sure you were holy to begin with
(10.19.06)
These posts "you have convinced me, I am turning back", are so moronic. Its not a "way of life", its a commitment with you and Hashem, thats all and if yoou had any faith in Hashem and what our nation truly stands for, you would continue, but if what you post you truly mean it, you were never "religious" to begin with. PS: When did Ynet become the Book of Truth or without a bias?
54. #31--thanks for the Xian Sermon—“Old Testament” and all.
ER   (10.19.06)
55. #43 May that day never come
Aharon   (10.19.06)
May the day when Haredim are in control of Israel never come. On that day, I will still love Eretz Yisrael, but I will reject the State of Israel. Israel, for it will become a State of Jewish Ayatollahs, and all the progress we have made will be undone. I pray that such a tragedy will never befall my beloved Israel.
56. #40...Nancy
Craig ,   USA   (10.19.06)
Well put...better to speak the truth and be called a bigot by man, than fail to speak and be held accountable by God. Sin is sin, whatever its form, and God never will accep it or change its definition. God Bless all who will acknowledge their sins and seek God's forgiveness and strength to repent.
57. #55 If you want respect, you have to give respect aswell
Jew ,   Israel   (10.19.06)
By the time the Religious become the Power of Israel, the enemies of Israel will be destroyed, World War 3/4 will be over, and it will truly be a new day. So one thing at a time.
58. #46 Ari from LA
Edwin ,   Canada   (10.19.06)
Let me guess. You are 14 - 18 years old and would just love an excuse not to go to synagogue on Yom Kipper. I bet you even feel smug now you have discovered a “legitimate” excuse. Next you’ll have to discover another to go against your parent’s teachings and moral values. Now you can cruse the strip on Saturdays with impunity!
59. We had an earthquake in Hawaii after a gay parade.
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (10.19.06)
And if you believe that----I'll sell you a condo in Tehran! Don't walk under ladder. Jordan might start a war with the United States.
60. holding Moshe Rabbenu's stick
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (10.19.06)
And I thought the biggest sin of Sodom was arrogance and lack of tzedakah... As far as I'm concerned Moshe Rabbenu did not say homosexuals were not allowed to enter the land. Why? Because we are Jewish and we have every right to be here and thank G-d publicly for so has he made us! Baruch ata Ad-nai, Elkeinu Melekh Ha-Olam she asani kumoni! (Thank you G-d for hyou've made me the way I am) Shana Tova and Gay to ya'll.
