One person hurt?? That's the first time i hear of ANY casualties due to qassams in a loooong while. TWO HUNDRED FIFTY Palestinians died in what Israel called an attempt to stop qassam rocket firing, which are harmful enough to hurt one person per summer.

IDF has been asking for months to send in troops to stop the qassams. Instead of going after islamic jihad olmert goes after the mayor of sderot. He left the philadeplhia route open and now longer range rockets are in hamas's hands. Olmert said nothing would be decided during ramadan and he still has hopes with abbas. Abbas who has no power in gaza has olmert fooled. Kadima, kadima, kadima, it will be a long few years of the olmert era.

My thoughts exactly. If you stop firing the Qassams, then you won't have any further deaths. Its up to you and your people. Its time for a non-sanctioned force of citizens to begin lobbing rockets indiscrimminately into Gaza. THEN MAYBE the UN will call for an end to the violence since it hates to see Jews with weapons defending themselves.

It is not the lack of deaths from Palestinian attacks that direct the IDF in it's actions, but the intent of the terrorist to kill non-combatents. Qassam Rockets today, Scud Missle's tomorrow. Don't ever underestimate your enemy. They injured one person in this attack, but wanted to kill the whole town.

Last time I checked, Kassams are not flying kytes. Kassams are weapons. Intended to kill Israelis. The fact that lately they haven't been successful in doing so does not take away from the fact that they were fired in order to kill Israeli civilians.
