Most Muslim countries don't allow relgious freedoms not just S.A. The real solution is Muslims standing up and denouncing terror but it won't happen. I don't have a problem with Muslims in America or the West because we believe in freedom of religion but how about our freedom in Muslim countries? I would hardly call the mexicans peaceloving individuals who are hard working and respect the law and wish to integrate, it's no secret there's a huge problem with them in the US. I wouldn't exactly compare the mexicans with muslims either, but there's lots of muslims in america aswell, though there are a bit more of them here. not very odd. it's not far from arabia to Europe, while there's an entire ocean between arabia and USA. on average there's about 3% muslim immigrants in European countries. while those 3% do cause lots of problems here it's not exactly enough to call it an islamization of Europe. I wouldn't bet money on it because i don't remember exactly but i think the percentage of muslims in USA is somewhere around 2%, a bit more in Canada. In Israel they're almost 17%. Americans are the last people on the planet who should teach us integration considering you've had hundreds of years on you to integrate the blacks in the country and you still haven't succeeded.

People seem to forget that those who founded and developed these United States of America were settled by people who left Europe to get away from their home cultures and societies. Even the modern hispanic immigrants to the U.S. are creating new and unique subcultures not found in their native lands. Four out of five muslim immigrants to these United States do noi attend mosque regularly due to the excessive extremism of many of the sermons. Europe may chose to culturally assimulate itself to islam but it won't happen in the Republic. American civic life is seeing increase of more traditional ways of life here in america. We'll take the liberalization of our society with only a few changes, but we won't surrender the essence of American civilization. The Islamic fascist can think what they want, but the majority of americans will not lay down and surrender culturally. And as far as the idea of an islamic jihad military conquering the world; I think some of them need to seriously need to learn to read history and technology analysis.

You're right. America isn't the same kind of civilization as Europe. It's a system of apartheid light with total segregation and frequent race clashes. Unfortunatly we're moving in that direction here aswell even though it's not nearly as bad in Europe yet. Most muslims here do not attend mosques either, most muslims in Europe are turks. Most turks are secular and nothing like the arabs. They drink booze, smoke, sleep around, have abortions etc. i don't get why americans are so obsessed with muslim immigrants in Europe while they're having the same problem in their own country.

but it is my opinion that if immigrants don't want to assimilate into the host country then they should pick the middle eastern country of their choice and be sent there. In America there are hundreds of religions all living side by side. The Prebysterian down the street doesn't want to kill the Catholic living a few blocks over. The Baptist doesn't doesn't want to cut the head off of the Jew living beside him. You get the picture, yet in Iraq the Sunni's and the Shite's can't live together without killing each other. What kind of sense does that make? None at all. Soon if something isn't done we will be fighting Islam radicals in our own back yard literally. The Islamic religion teaches them to kill, to lie all in the belief this will offer them a way into their version of heaven with the 72 virgins or to the Islamic female being one of those 72 virgins. These people don't want to live side by side with others in peace and prosperity. They can't even live that way with other Moslems. What is going on in the world is proving this statement. If they don't want to be assimilated into the populations of the country they are living in, then send them back to the middle eastern country they want to be. Let them practice their lifestyle there in the hot sun and the endless sand. If prices were put on the heads of all the Mullahs and all the religious moslem leaders things would calm down for it is those people who ferment most of the unrest going on. Try it and see how fast they would change their minds and start preaching peace to their people. I heard this from a moderate Moslem on the TV and I agree with it.

what i meant is that most high tech companies have very large branches in israel such as motorolla and ibm. what i was trying to imply is that the west and europe invest tons of $$$$$ in israel and cooperate with it technologically on many fronts. what i meant is that most computer/cell phone technological parts were invented in israel in cooperation and using usa investment $$$$ and then selling this technology to the west. israel having such a vast brain power is very attractive to most companies of the west since through cooperation with israeli scientists, computer scientists, medical scientists, etc.... they can work on inventing and advancing technology in the field of communication, medicine, etc... there is an excellent web site that introduces the phenomenal medical and technological patents and discoveries in israel. just google israeli inventions in the 21st century. you'll be shocked. an eye opener. also, did you know that gates hires software engineers ONLY from the UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS, CHAMPAIGN/URBANA? one of the best schools in engineering in the country after mit. 85% of students in that department are either jewish or israeli. go figure! not even one middle east student.

If America was "chill", Europe would be Germany. There would be no internet, and there would probably be no Israel by now. The point is, America is a vital country in this world. I agree that most americans are not that knowledgeable about Europe, but the important ones are. I have to go now...got some "famring" to do.

We should realize that the differences between the US and European ideoligy are marginal. We face the same threat, the US mostly from the oustide and the EU mostly from within. This makes it more difficult to find a sound solution to the problem in europe. The fact the most European governmens choose other methods than solely violence is therefore quite understandable. That doesn't make us all weak leftish hippies, nor does it make us cowards. May I recall that we also cover the US's back, as our army covers regions of Afghanistan and has been in Iraq for quite some time. Regards
