61. #58 Muslims have no believe in true Torah
AK   (10.22.06)
Muslims do not even begin to comprehend the true Torah, that's why they created their simplistic universe in Qu'ran. As to what Muslim believe has to do with Temple Mount? Nothing really, which explains why this 'Muslim holy site' had been neglected by the world's Muslims until the return of the Jews to Zion.
62. #59 I'm from a lay country!
Lior ,   Europe   (10.22.06)
And how do you get the proofs? With a fairy -tale-style Torah/Bible/Qran? Or with real archeological evidence? Get all your efforts to solve conflicts and other important things! What my country and Europe has accomplished won't be destroyed by foolish statemens such those of Mr. Hassan Khader, but could be destroyed by conflict scalation, lack of diplomacy and eye-for-an-eye style. The difference between you and me is that I try to judge people regardless of their faith or origin. Because God created all Human Beings. Be a good religious man!
63. #27 they get infected by long contact with the Jews
non-antisemite   (10.22.06)
64. #60 because you have a state you called Israel;
(10.22.06)
does not mean your are part of the ancient "Bani Israel". Bani Israel were Jews, but not all Jews are Bani Israel. Zionists are contradicting themselves; they say Jewishness is not a race, it is a religion. When we say not all Jews are Bani Israel, Zionists shout antisemite, antisemite. That is because Zionists care only about Zionism; they do not give a damn to Jewishness.

The Wall is not "an obsession". It is the last remnant of the Temples and, as such, the only place where we can pray as our people did in those times. It is the last remnant of our most holy physical place. I do not understand how anyone cannot understand, unless they are unwilling to do so.
72. #61 how non-muslims teache islamic beliefs to muslims ?
(10.22.06)
lilkened to the 72 virigin story; even above average muslim has never heard abou it before !
73. Western Wall
Connie ,   VA, USA   (10.23.06)
I can't bring myself to read the rest of this bologna. lies, lies, lies and more lies. There is a book I'd like to read as soon as I can. It's called The Truth About Muhammad: Founder of the World's Most Intolerant Religion by Robert Spencer.
74. Ottman Empire was not selective in humiliating its subjects.

75. a few points
israeli ,   israel   (10.23.06)
Pink Floyd actually stands for Pink Anderson and Floyd Council - two blues musicians. As to the Wall, well, Fadi seems to be its greatest adept - we don't need no education... - but this is dangerous when you are talking to Jews, Fadi... Calling us idiots doesn't make you any smarter, pal, but perhaps it makes you feel good in a pervert sort of fashion. Robert #8, I agree, other religions claim previous shrines, yet I think that la Mezquita was built as a mosque on top of what was originally a Visigoth Church and was reconsecrated as a Cathedral when the Moors had been driven out of Spain (where they had no business in the first place - El Cid? the Saracen?). I never said anything about violence, etc. I just said humiliation. Simon Mohammed #20 - no Sir, your post doesn't make commun sens to me. Nor common sense. Not even sense. But then my English is nowhere as good as yours, Sir, as I reside in Israel, unlike yourself, in VA, USA (Falls Church?). Better go brush up on my English a little bit. #55 - Bani Israel is yet another Muslim invention - we call ourselves Bnei Israel. IN all honesty, who would call himself a Jew (and even consider converting to Judaism) just to come to the practically deserted, disease stricken, mosquito-infested swamp that was Palestine before the arrival of Jews?
76. #62 Pshaw for your rebuttal!
Hi again European ,   USA   (10.23.06)
To Mr. "Lay countryman form Europe:" I am not judging people at all. I frankly don't give a fig for anybody's claims to holy shrines. What I take issue with is when people try to use religion to alter the historical record. That's what totalitarian regimes do. So it's archeologic evidence that would make you happy? Well then, go ask the Muslims if they're willing to allow archeologists access to the Temple Mount so the world may see and understand the HISTORICAL, as well as religious, importance of this site. You are clearly not seeing the issue in the same light as I. It has nothing to do with judging others by their religon. Your refusal to take a stand on the LIES that are perpetuated by those who will try to revise history show moral laxity on your part. If you don't want to take sides, that is understandable, but at the very least you should not tolerate LIES and DECEIT or allow yourself to be easily duped into believing what is unequivocably being used by the Muslims as POLITICAL PROPAGANDA. Don't be so naive into thinking it's all about religious differences. Its all politics to me, plain and simple. And by the way, part of being a "good religious man" (or woman, in my case,) is standing up for what one deems is morally just and fair. At least I try; do you?
77. #63 REPREHENSIBLE COMMENT
(10.23.06)
You are both a liar for calling yourself a non-anti-semite and an anti-semite for making the comment in the first place. Truly despicable!
78. to 75 , speaking friendly about my self
Simon Mohammed ,   USA   (10.23.06)
I have to aknwoldge that i sent my talk bak to you and did it partialy. I am sorry it wasn't an intent to make you look any rediculus, question your better english then me or offend you. I was talking to meaning of the talk and i just figure out i should have answer to the second part. - While I talked about doing math i didn't mean that yu are totaly wrong, i wanted to say that by the small number of history book i had the chance to read, I learned that Islam, Mohammed the prohet had nothing to do with the destruction of the 2 temples. Please read other talkback in this forum. Saying that i am not denying it existance where ever it is because i am not qualified to make such a judgment. in the other hand about the Otman empire, i can't disagree with you and also will add that since that empire become very big, with centralized power, they suffred from unapdating their business, men who where in charge start even teaching the wrong notion of Islam, the religion itself in it birth form and the fex other years when the muslim community brough some thing good to the humanity bu different ways. the wrong teaching that was introduced in the last couple hundred years of the ottman Empire might be the reason that made it called the Sick Lion (refering to a sick empire) and i think from there a lot of wrong teaching, cultural value were developed refereing to Islam the relegion but doing exactely what it was/is about. A few small country escaped to that sickness because that empire never reach them. this is still my personel opinion with no intion to offend any way, and i think that why we are exchanging point of view here. some here are jokking, some are collecting Personel Data or Idea, that what difference is about. Thank you again for you talkback

I didn't know you were Jewish! Obviously you are, since you outline OUR contributions so well.
80. Simon #78

Thank you for taking the trouble to reply and for clarifying your position. Now you do make sense. - firstly, I did not mean that the temples in Jerusalem were destroyed by Muslims, rather that at a certain point (actually after they conquered Jerusalem) they decided to build mosques on top of the ruins of the second one. My mind may be twisted, but the allegation that the wall is where Muhamad tied his horse connected to previous knowledge of church desecration by the Ottomans. - secondly, I agree, the Ottoman empire was equally humiliating to Christians and Muslims alike, for some unexplained reason they seemed to treat Jews rather fairly - strange. In any case, as all great empires at a certain point it started coming apart and degenerated into total corruption. So basically, we agree. It is true, a lot of people come here for different reasons - some hate, some poke fun at others or even insult them, some are frustrated. Yet I am pleased to say that I have engaged in good conversations with Arabs and Muslims, as I do in real life as well. I live in Jerusalem and work in a mixed environment, Jewish, Muslim, Christian. Unbelievable as it may sound, we do get along and behave as normal human beings should. Take care!
81. Yeah, right, John Wayne tied his horse to the Eastern Wall

82. # 80 Jane, it doesn't take a lot to agree for some thing
Simon Mohammed ,   USA   (10.24.06)
Tank you for your reply, and glad that each one understood some of the other opinion. It stay a relative thing but it is a great great thing. I just beleive that we should not judge the whole population/beleive/symbol for people if one guy (either side) speak some thing that sound strong. it happened from all side i think. I think that is how thing should be all arround the word but this just a dream wish, some thing in tense environment good thing come up after bad thing have been done. with my best regard
83. Simon
israeli ,   israel   (10.24.06)
it's not Jane, it's israeli, but thank you for your kind reply. It's true, it takes very little to agree for those who really want to reach an agreement - they find common ground and start building from there. Best wishes!
