Samir, With all due respect, in your posts you have managed to completely distort the different proposals which have been on the table. It could have started with full autonomy at the time of the original Camp David accords ('78), but throughout time the inept leadership of the Arab world at large and the Palestinians in particular have been the cause for your current situation. But, even getting beyond that - YOU, the Palestinians elected a government. Your elected government has stated that it will not honor ANY previous agreements signed by your previous leadership with Israel. Furthermore, your prime minister and your foreign minister (Hanniyeh and Al-Zahar) have stated time and time again that they will: 1. Not recognize Israel's right to exist 2. They are willing to accept a Palestinian state in the pre-1967 borders in return for a TRUCE, not PEACE. A truce? So, the result of th negotiations will be a temporary cessation of hostilities (maybe, since all of your leaderships have shown their inability, unwillingness, or both to stop terror attacks) until you find it expedient to continue your Jihad for the total "Liberation" of Palestine, which is your government's stated goal? Samir, wake up and smell the roses. You unfortunately live in a shit hole (and please excuse my expression) because your leadership has found it expedient to do so. The billions of dollars in aid to the Palestinian Authority have made their way to the bank accounts of your leadership, instead of developing an economy and infrastructure. And, yes, you may ver well be inconvenienced by chekpoints and the separation fence. But, if the choice is to inconvenience you or be victims to your homocide bombers - well, it's a no brainer. Only you, thre Palestinians, have the power to make peace. Egypt and Jordan found it quite easy to make peace with us - your leadership has chosen Jihad. Israel pulled out of Gaza over a year ago. You had a golden opportunity to show where the rubber meets the road. There was no occupation, settlements were evacuated (and handed over intact to you, including the greenhouses). Instead of creating a viable economy and utilizing the resources Israel left behind, you decided to escalate the violence. And, after this "show of good will" you expect Israel to go forth as if nothing has changed? Stop the terrorist attacks, and you will have a Palestinian state faster thatn you can imagine. Continue them, and, well, stop your whining like an impetuous two year old.

Benjamin ; You have , somehow, described the current situation in away that I cant say incorrect. However, it seems you have not understood the views I have expressed in my previous emails... The people of Palestine have not choosen Hamas because they wanted to fight or destroy Israel.. Hamas was ellected in that large majority because they have fed up from teh corruption of the previous governements used to be ruled by the other party "Fatah". Please note that before Oslo, Fatah was always a winner in all political and social elections in Palestine. However, Fatah did not do well over the past 13 years and so their popularity have decreesed so sharp and on the first event the people had teh chance to punish Fatah, they did it so tough and hard, and thats why , now you find 78 of the palrimant seats are owned by Hamas. So, it has nothing to do with destroying Israel.. If yoy ask me why Fatah was corrupted, well the answer is soimply because it was a one man show ruled by Yaser Arafat which I personally beleive that he didnt perform in a professional mannaer and didnt build real institutions in Palestine .. Now Abu Mazen came on board through transparent ellections.. The people of Palestine has though high of him and they were hoping that he will do tangable acheivenments both on Fatah level but also on the political level and at least put an end to the Intifada BY showing some plotical acheivements on the gorund like removing the check oints freeing those light cases prisoners (and they are many if u beleive me).. Form that point, Abu Mazen could have gained more power to continue his mission which was fix the internal bugs and achieve a real truce in order to carry on with negotiations.. Now, ISRAEL didnt want that to happen.. They have continued their aggression against the Palestinians, and if you say no then I wont beleive you because I live here and you dont !! Yes, there are people like Islamic Jihad that they dont want to this calm situation to continue through sucide bomings ..etc. BUT the response to their actions should not be by collective punishement.. Most of the Palestinians do not support those actions and if any then because he/she was directly affected by the IDF activities in the west bank and Gaza.. Like if you ask someone who's brother or sister was killed by IDF, then what do you expect him to say !!? So what I was trying to say in my previous emails, is that Israel didnt give the real support to Abu Mazin, so that he is able to solve this very complex case and try to attract the attention of the Palestinian people taword the peacfull side of the case rather than leaving them to the radical side of the case which is Hamas and in drierctly syria and Iran !! Now, wither u agree with me or not, ISRAEL holds the main responsibility taword strenthining Hamas by the coolective punishment against the Palestinian people, for one SO CLEAR which is, YOU ARE OCCUPYING OUR FUCKEN LAND.. GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WEST BANK AnD THEN LET US LEVEL IN PEACE.. because otherwise, the next step will be that AlQaida will be setting next door to you in Jerusalem and TelAviv and then we all have a great fun my friend.. I wish this wont happen but my wish means nothing in that context,, take care
