safed, Israel   (10.25.06)
I guess this would mean it's time to stock up on dry foods and candles. Just when I was getting used to the peace and quite!
2. And Olmert, The Loser, will still be Commander in Chief
malcolm   (10.25.06)

3. Lebanon will become a Shia State
Semsem ,   New York, USA   (10.25.06)
Hezbollah are ethnically cleansing Lebanon of Christians as well as secular Shia and Sunnis. It will become a fanatical backward Islamist Shia state within the next 10 years.
4. Professor, you are a conspiracy nut.
(10.25.06)
I feel sorry for your students.
5. To # 4 - The truth hurts
NORMAN   (10.25.06)
By laughing at the messengers of reality does not make it less fatefull. People were laughing and deriding the settlers in Gush Katif and we expelled them what do we have today Tunnels from Egypt smuggling mass weapons to the Hamas. Wake up and smee the coffee before its to late.
6. As if this is a shock ...
Steve ,   USA   (10.25.06)
B"H Most armies are not preparing for peace actively. There is always the next war around the corner and it is just a question of when. Therefore almost every nation keeps its defense in top condition for such an event that is almost inevitable. The United States have been fortunatate that war has not struck its territory (since 9/11) but the armed forces of this country is prepared for conflict, whereever it may occur and whenever it may occur. One invests in military strength to keep these conflicts out of one's own territory. If it is a shock that the next event is just around the corner, I am glad some eyes are opening. It is almost shocking that it is shocking. Only by being in top notch preparation does one actually avoid the ensuing conflict, because the enemy is then aware of your position.
7. Israel's got to win this time
John ,   Olympia   (10.25.06)
C'mon we give you guys the most advanced weapons on this earth is it that hard to fight an army of 15,000?
8. And Peace ?
cfs ,   Toulouse, FRANCE   (10.25.06)
And Peace ? this word seems to disappear from ears, mouths and heads of people. Time to prepare peace with others also.
9. Moshe Sharon has the courage to speak the truth
William Katz ,   USA   (10.25.06)
The "and Peace" comment reflects the continual naivite that allows war-crazed Jihadis to continue unabated --'Peace' with whom? There is no will anywhere in the Arab world to change the concept of Dar el-Harb. '
10. Doesn't need an expert to know Jewish occupation wil
w ,   usa   (10.25.06)
face the same fate of previous occupations of Palestine. Incidentally, all previous occupations of Palestine thought they were strong and invincible, just the same mentality of present-day Jewish occupation in Palestine.
11. gee another war prediction. You don't say?!
Michael   (10.25.06)
12. Next war imminent
Simon ,   Oxfrod, England   (10.25.06)
This is terrifying. More so as Europe will do nothing (I'm not sure about the US but I have hope in that direction). I sadly have to conclude that Israel is fighting on behalf of a Europe that is too shallow and cowardly to face up to the reality of militant Islam, even when that reality is starting to show itself on European soil. It is going to get a lot worse here before people start to open their eyes, but by then it may be too late. I realise this sounds apocalyptic, but I' afraid I have lost all faith in the people and leaders of Europe.
13. #7
David ,   Tel Aviv   (10.25.06)
C'mon how hard is it for 350,000 US soldiers with the most advanced weaponry in the world to defeat a mere 25,000 rag tag arab insurgents in Iraq? BTW you didn't 'give' us anything we bought and developed most of the weaponry at our disposal.
14. to #7
David ,   Jerusalem   (10.25.06)
It's true. You've certainly shown the world how its done with your glorious victory in iraq. Congratulations on bringing democracy to the Middle East
15. prepare for war
joe ,   israel   (10.25.06)
It is very sad that we are only talking about the next war. Why should my children stay here?????? Let's start talking about peace. This government does not have it on their agenda. VERY SCARY and VERY SAD.
16. #10
Y ,   N   (10.25.06)
Palestine is not occupied. It is in the hands of the right owners: The jews. The arabs are the intruders and warmongers in palestine
17. Days before Eternity
Pete R ,   USA   (10.25.06)
The only solution to the World's aches and pains is to seek the ONLY Lord & Saviour Jesus the Living Christ . He died for Our sins on that awful cross almost 2 thousand years ago and paid the utermost penalty's of mankind. all we have to do is recieve HIM and BELIEVE on HIM. as it is written in the Bible "John 3:16 (New King James Version) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
18. Listen up guys...
Alexander ,   Israel   (10.25.06)
I know these facts are hard to deal with and hard to accept. Now is not the time of debating, worrying or arguing. We must unconditionally figger out the best way to defeat Israel's enemies and develop counter measures to annihilate all threats on a permanent basis. Now it's the time for planning, preparation and action. I am not satisfied with Olmert but I am confident that he will act. If he wont, he wont be the prime minister anymore. Most Israelis want him out of office.
19. The country, as usual, is asleep.
Jamie ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.25.06)
And it is drunk with "dreams of peace". Unfortunately the only way we learn that when the enemy says he wants to "kill and destroy" us is when he actually does it. While Peres talks of releasing Barghouti, Peretz talks of destroying "outposts" and Olmerts speaks of "peace talks" with Syria & Lebanon. They all plot our destruction. Thank G-d that He is not asleep...for without him we would be lost for good.
20. #8 "cfs": OBVIOUS that Israel wants peace with lebanon
dante ,   uk   (10.25.06)
cfs, peace does not result from the decision of one of the parties to talk about peace, or think about peace, or want peace. why don't you read what the leaders of hizb have said? THEY WANT WAR. cfs, it's time to grow up; your peter pan fantasy is a lethal delusion.
21. To #7
jason white ,   afula,israel   (10.25.06)
What about the situation in iraq.Same weapons. It is the leadership and the orders that are given to the army. To win this type of war, means that a heavy toll in enemy civilians and infrastucture must destroyed. The enemy has to know that there will be a heavy toll for his side.
22. I just admire this spirit of love and peace here :)

27. Re Expert: Prepare for war
Michael ,   Caldwell, USA   (10.27.06)
Vision to Encourage Israel Before the Next War (Received 10/24/2006) To Whom It May Concern: Because of the recent news from Israel, I have felt an increasing great burden to pray for “G-D’s blessing for HIS remnant people in Israel”… The following vision was received during the early morning hours of Oct. 24, 2006 which was announced to be an intended encouragement to HIS remnant by revealing the location of an archeological treasure not yet discovered. G-D wants HIS people prepared spiritually before the next, soon coming trauma. The location as seen in the vision is in the area of Jerusalem as follows:  Next to a canal on the right side with the water flowing toward the viewer  An Israeli, single proprietor owning a white, Toyota Sienna van with a raised roof, uses the van as a business to escort tourists  The Toyota van is normally kept on a parking pad on the same right side of the canal  To the right of the parking pad is the owner’s business office building, square shaped, small in size and painted white  PUSH BACK THE FOILAGE COVERING THE BACK EDGES OF THE PARKING PAD Sincerely and in obedience, Michael
28. you dont have to be a expert to know this...
jason ,   usa   (10.28.06)
29. #27, Michael, what will they find there?
Sheikh yer Bu'Tay ,   Dar al-Harb   (10.29.06)
30. IGNORE FADI
Sheikh yer Bu'Tay ,   Dar al-Harb   (10.29.06)
This loser gets a BIG EGO BOOST when you respond to his sarcastic comments. If you really want to get to him, IGNORE HIM!! When you respond, it only encourages him. So, stop and this loser will wither away. I have written this several times, and Y-net will not post my comment. Yet, fadi can call people names, write in obscene words like shit, fuck, etc. and gets away with it. Why? Maybe fadi is really a Y-net editor, trying to get people worked up to write back. IF SO, THAT MAKES FADI A FAKE! IGNORE FAKE FADI! IGNORE FAD
