Instead of hiding behind the Bible, you should be a just and moral person based on what is common sense. We all know good from bad don't we? Do you really need a book to tell you what is good or bad? Why? Why must you be threatened with damnation or offered some kind of reward (here or in the after-life)? Why not do good because it's a good thing to do? Isn't that worth more? When you do good simply because it's good and not because someone TOLD you to do it, or threatened you with something? Just do good, whether you get something from it or not. Just be good. Definition of "community"-- a unified body of individuals. What makes GLBT all a community? They are unified by their common dysfunctional behavior that places them outside the mainstream. I mean, what does a pretty lesbian have in common with a gross hairy man that dresses as a woman. And what does a committed effeminate gay man have in common with a macho bisexual man who has group sex with both men and women, or with a man who has his penis removed in order to become a "woman"? The only commonality is being out of step with a moral and sensible norm. This parade is a celebration of nonsense, but nonsense that is dangerous to the fabric of a real society.

It's common for those without a valid argument to spew venom and ad hominem attacks. They do this because they don't have anything worthwhile to say, or at least nothing that can counter their opponent's statements. If they had something--of substance--to say they would say it. Their tactics reveal they lack any real substance. It's like the Israeli who cries "anti-semitism" whenever you criticize Israel, or the Christian who can only point to the Bible, instead of making an argument on their own, using their own thoughts or common sense. Instead they simply defer to a tired and pathetic tactic. I understand you might not like some of the things I say, but I don't say them to upset anyone, but rather to make a point. That's what I do: I make good points and good arguments based on the wealth of knowledge I have about a given subject. If you think I'm wrong, that's fine. But instead of spewing childish venom, why don't you at least attempt to counter my points? My guess is because you can't. That's usually why people turn violent or childish. I don't usually include my sources, but I can. If you think I'm wrong tell me when and where and how and I'll show you that I'm right. That's pretty simple isn't it? But I never see anyone try this. All I see is a bunch of whiny, angry little people who don't know very much at all, relying solely upon incredible sources like the Bible. People, the Bible is not a basis for an argument. You cannot prove the veracity or accuracy of such a thing. Any scholar that has spent any time with the Bible will tell you it's not reliable as a source--historical, technical or otherwise. It's a bunch of borrowed stories, many of which contradict eachother. So please don't quote the Bible as a defense or as a point made. If you knew more about the Bible you wouldn't try to rely upon it to try to prove anything. Do some actual research and learn something, then try to tell me I'm wrong.

First, you don't like the Bible as a source. You miss the fact that this document, wherever you believe it came from, has been accepted as a human guide by billions of people for thousands of years. And these people span the range of intelligence from geniuses to fairly stupid people, so the Bible speaks to everyone in some way. There must be something about it that synchronizes with human beings' natural perception of what is right and wrong in the world or what is sensible and not. People who want to do nonsensical things simply refute and debase this document, but they don't realize that they are really refuting and debasing a timeless perception of the essence of the world. Now, to make the issue more clear about what is right and wrong sexually, and why the so-called GLBT behaviors are wrong, let's forget the Bible and look at this thing called a human body as a device (or even animal bodies). The function of the sexual areas of the body are only reproduction. That they provide pleasure is a bonus to assure that people (and animals) will do it even if they don't understand where it takes them, i.e., procreation of the species, without which a species ceases to exist. These parts mesh perfectly and the male injects into the female exactly what her egg needs in order to form a new being, without needing the help of reproductive technologies. The pathway is lubricated naturally, and the sizes of the parts generally are compatible over a wide range of variation. Women have nothing natural to put into other women that will accomplish any objective, and men have no place to put what they use into another man to accomplish any objective. And recta are not naturally lubricated, nor are dildos, so artificial means are required. To accomplish nothing in the end anyway other than some distorted idea of pleasure. It is so obvious that the species must function in a normal fashion that anyone who denies it is truly the "angry and ignorant" one, and is a threat to normal society because he teaches people, especially children, that these basic proper human characteristics are not at all important. We can only feel sympathy, but not pride for those who can't bring themselves to function in a sexually normal way. It's nothing to have a parade about. And all other related issues, psychological, sociological, anthropological, ethical, etc., that relate to this, could consume volumes of writing for which there is neither time nor space here. But all lead to the same conclusion that normal heterosexual relationships, most preferably monogamous ones, are the best for individuals, for children, for extended families, and for society as a whole, than all the nonsense represented by that stupid parade.

I know that many people have believed the Bible of the last 2,000 years. If 1,000,000 decide to believe that a story is true that doesn't make it true. It's still a story. The fact that some people find it useful one way or another doesn't bother me. Many stories have meaningful messages and advice to be gleaned from within them. The problem--if we can call it that--is when people go around claiming it's all true, that it's factual, that it's a historical record or any kind of reliable source--then use it to judge people and call them sinners. It's not. It's a collection of stories borrowed from many different people, from many different places at many different times, written over the course of several hundred years, constantly changed and edited to suit the interests of various people over that same period of several hundred years. Take any part of the Bible you want, as an example, and I will tell you one of two things: either it didn't happen or it didn't happen anything like that. Either way it's fiction. That's the bottom line. Take anything you want from it, but know that it's not real or factual. Because I refute the accuracy of the Bible I "want to do nonsensical things" (to use your words). Given the time and space the validity of the Bible CAN be proven.
