31. INVITE ALL SOCIALISTS TO SEE THE KIBUTZ SYSTEM
andrew ,   miami,fl   (11.04.06)
MOST SOCIALISTS AND COMMUNISTS HAVE NEVER SEEN PURE SOCIALISM OR COMMUNISM - INVITE THEM TO KIBBUTZES WE USED TO OWN THE LEFT - ITS TIME TO TAKE IT BACK FROM THE APPOLOGISTS - THE ANARCHISTS - AND THE ARABS WHO HAVE DEPENDED ON THE NATURAL KINDNESS OF THE LEFT - AND HAVE USURPED IT

and Boxers daughter married agoy. Some Jews they are. Liberman and Cantor are the only Jewish Jews in congress.
33. #32 What nonsense
Sidney ,   USA   (11.04.06)
California delegates applauded U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), who was one of the five Jewish women of Congress who received Hadassah's "Every Action Counts" Congressional Award this week. Feinstein thanked the delegates for the honor, and discussed her support for the State of Israel and her proposal that the U.S. should begin to move ambassadorial functions from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. If you want to play games, I will assert that the extremely orthodox are not Jewish because they not accept Jewish values.

The US was founded as a "Christian" country, representing Judeo-Christian values. The Republican party and its policies are meant to strengthen that philosophy. What is wrong with that? As a matter of fact it is a Tenent of the Christians that Israel is to be protected, because only when the Temple is rebuilt, will Christ return (your messiah) and at that time herald in 1000 years of peace in the Kingdom of God. Your Idea that christian values are to be feared is absurd. Muslim values should be feared, but not Christian.....I am not talking of Catholic values, but the Protestant Christian values. We are allies of the Jews of Israel and never want to see her fall to the enemy. The left leaning liberals on the otherhand, take a drastically different approach to Israel, primarily a hands off, let them fend for themselves policy....if you want to support that kind of policy then you support a policy that is meant to bring down Israel...why would you want to do that? isn't Israel the home of your people and religion, and given to you by God? why would you want to support those that would allow others to destroy Israel and restart your dispora?, you have returned to the holy land, and are destined to stay there, the "right-wing republican" Christians will be there to help you always in your time of need. Never Again is not just for the Jews to proclaim, but also for all us Christians who believe the word of God...Israel is the land given to the Jews by God forever.
35. #34 Wrong
Sidney ,   USA   (11.04.06)
The U.S. was not founded as a Christian Country. This is the law from over 200 years ago. Officially called the "Treaty of peace and friendship between the United States of America and the Bey and Subjects of Tripoli, of Barbary," most refer to it as simply the Treaty of Tripoli. In Article 11, it states: "As the Government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Musselmen; and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."
36. anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism
Dorothy ,   Herzliah, Israel   (11.04.06)
anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism are not the same. Many Jewish people in Israel and elsewhere are anti-Zionist, but not anti-Semetic. Such Jews, like myself, believe that Zionism was one of the worst things that could have happened to the Jews. It has not brought Jews security, it is highly racist, and could eventually be the cause of anti-Semitism.

While I'm not about to start delving into your reasons for living in Israel with that attitude, there's one thing you need to keep in mind. The cause of anti-Semitism...is ANTI-SEMITES.

First of all, I would challenge your assertion that "Many Jewish people in Israel and elsewhere are anti-Zionist." Let's be honest about who the majority of anti-Zionist Jews really are. They're mostly either lunatic fringe leftards like Noam Chomsky or hyper-religious nutballs like the Naturei Karta. Not only that, but to say that Zionism is highly racist is, in and of itself, racist because it pre-supposes that every other group of people is entitled to a homeland except the Jews.

Zionism is racist? I know Jewish Zionists of all shades of skin color and from many different backgrounds: American, Russian, Indian, Tunisian, Yemenite, Dutch, Belgian, to name just a few. Any person in the world is free to become a Jew if they are willing to accept Jewish law and tradition. Your charge of racism is baseless, and an indication that you may not understand the meaning of the word.
40. They sell little jars of soil from the holy land number 36#
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (11.05.06)
Rveryone will pitch in to buy one for you if you feel the need to leave Israel! We wouldn't want you as a human being and Jew to feel ugly about living in your country. If many more Jews grab onto your idea of anti Zionism---they will only have a little jar of soil to hang on to! How will Israel protect itself with Israel haters living amongst them?
41. this world is doomed to futility
marilyn   (11.05.06)
'Man has dominated men to his injury' states scripture, and ' it is Gods purpose to set up a kingdom that no one will be able to destroy, it will put an end to all other rulerships and will stand to time indefinate. So men have tried this and that political' [comes from polis- city] system but no one has really known the 'way' to the 'city' having true foundations, the 'city' of God.Some of us are 'seeking' this that is to come but others are satisfied with the 'polis'' they have now.

note the quotations around Christian????, that is to indicate that our Founding Fathers were primarily Christians and in that respect..."Render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's...render unto the Lord what is the Lord's".... they followed the Teaching of Jesus The Christ...hence the separation of Church and State...it does not alter the fact, that I as a Christian will follow the Word of God, and Will Not Let Israel Fall to the Enemy. So as I stated before, Never Again is not only for Jews to Proclaim...but the Duty of People Like Myself, Who Will Do All That Is Necessary To Protect Israel. Whereas the Liberals in the Democrat (as well as not so liberals) Party, have a primarily hands off, let them fend for themselves policy...., that puts Israel in Danger. Israel is one of our Allies and should not be treated in such a manner. So to vote for a Democrat majority in Congress would be to vote such a policy for Israel.
43. The problem is anti-Semitism, not anti-Zionism
Bill Levinson ,   Wilkes-Barre, US   (11.05.06)
Re: #36, in exposing MoveOn.org for welcoming racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-Christian hate speech on its Action Forum, I never classified anti-Israel statements or anti-Zionism as "anti-Semitism." By "anti-Semitism" I mean blood libels of Jews, accusations that Jews run everything and are disloyal to the United States, and the use of "Jew" as an epithet. "Anti-Christian" hate speech doesn't mean pro-choice speech, it means phrases like "Catholic Pedophiles of America," references to the Pope as a Nazi, accusing Evangelicals of trying to cause Armageddon, and accusations that Baptists and Catholics are plotting to take over the world. Racism = calling prominent African-Americans "house slaves" and suggesting that African-American soldiers are potential mutineers who should be disarmed and segregated. All of these were present on the Action Forum, all were seen and allowed to stand by MoveOn's moderators (who deleted other postings like criticism of MoveOn.org), and all received overwhelming approval from the other forum participants.
