2. another tragedy
silvio ,   italy   (11.09.06)
For avoiding tragedies nobody shoots rockets, nobody makes jump himself in air with the explosive for killing the people that travels on a bus or takes the coffee to the cafe. Nobody tells that Israel must be deleted from the Middle East. Nobody makes an ambush for killing or abducting the soldiers from Israel. Nobody does ill to an other. The secret of live this civilly could be that.
3. 2006 most famoust joke : "Tsahal is the world's most ethical
(11.09.06)
army" I would like to check the criteria ! I find it difficult to describe an occupying force for four decades as an ethical organizations. The job of Tsahal is to limit the freedom of movement of the palestinian population , to protect the settlers and to kill palestinian fighters and political leaders. That's for sure an unethical agenda.
4. Peres
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (11.09.06)
This freak needs to quietly retire and check himself into a home for the terminally retarded.
5. #3 you describe an ethical agenda
Jon ,   Oz   (11.09.06)
not an unethical one.
6. Turn Peres into Wax Museum Model
Marcel ,   Florida   (11.09.06)
The corrupt devious fools who brought Oslo Road- Map to Israel have no shame. He has the nerve to open his mouth ? How dumb are Israeli's to put of with Mr. Disaster, failed Peace Schemer Peres ?
7. Peres wants to return to Gaza
mordechai ,   jerusalem, Israel   (11.09.06)
Shimon Peres told us just over a year ago, that we had to uproot Israeli citizens from their homes in Gush Katif so that we can have an internationally recognized border. He said that then, we will not be responsible for their daily needs and employment. He now wants us to take legal and political responsibility for the arabs on the Gaza coast while he has left the Israeli citizens who he helped remove from their homes in Gush Katif suiffering in transit camps.
8. moron
DAVID ,   GUSH ETZION   (11.09.06)
I HAVE A GREAT SUGGESTION FOR YOU PERES, WHY DON"T YOU MOVE TO GAZA AND YOU CAN CONTINUI YOUR MONLOGUE YOU HAVE BEEN HOLDING FOR YEARS BY YOURSELF. THAT YOU ARE STILL GIVIN TIME TO VOICE YOUR OUT OF TOUCH OPINION SHOWS HOW LOST THE STATE OF ISRAEL IS . YOU ARE DUM, OLMERT IS DUMMER AND PERETZ IS THE DUMMEST. IN ANY OHTER LAW ABIDING COUNTRY YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN IN JAIL A LONG TIME AGO. YOUR ARE GOING TO LIVE UNTILL YOU DO TSUVA, WHICH COULD BE ANOTHER 100 YEARS. MEANWHILE DON"T WORRY THERE ALWAYS WILL BE A JOB FOR YOU IN THE KNESSET. MAKES ONE WONDER HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE SUCKED UP OVER THE YEARS.
9. DOES OSLO MEAN ANYTHING TO PERES?
stude ham ,   outremont, canada   (11.09.06)
probably not because he's too senile to realize that oslo proved israel has no negotiating partners in palestine.
10. The only solution.
P. ,   Jerusalem   (11.09.06)
The only solution to this ever worsening crisis is to reoccupy Gaza and depose the HAMAS government. Cancel the Oslo agreements and return the Jews to restore their flourishing settlements. All the rest has been tried and failed.
11. Peres
jeremy ,   kIBBUTZ HULATA   (11.09.06)
Where do we go from here, he asks. First we send him home, once and for all. Then we tell the rest of the left in Israel, you had your chance and look what you brought us, death and terror. Then the right come up with better answers, like talking with conditions, don't meet our conditions then continue the fight till they do, just like the Brits did to the I.R.A. Peres go home!!!!!!!!! and please take Belin with you

16. Negotiations ??
Ishak Haskiya ,   Roskilde - Denmark   (11.09.06)
Dear Shimon, we have been negotiating for 60 years and it has given a grand zilch. Stop offering a dialogue. Remain silent and ACT!
17. #15 arie
Marcel ,   Florida   (11.09.06)
London will accept him gladly. I suggested that camel dung and live flies be placed in his mouth for special historic effect.
18. A defining moment
Moshe   (11.09.06)
Shimone you are right this is a defining moment for us. We need to look over the last 100 years. We were absolutely wrong on many point e.g.: 1) Arabs have never been at peace, be it with themselves or with their neighbors. They only know violence, destruction and hatred. Their history is a patchwork of conflict, brother vs brother, clan vs clan, tribe vs tribe and califat vs califat. 2) They have no experience of statehood: their countries are instead territories organized along a feudal system of overlords and vassals. They have no national idendity 3) They define themselves using negative values. We have weakened our good selves every time we accepted to compromise and forsake our rights on the land. We got in return violence and hatred. There will be a major civil war in Arabia and in the muslim world. We need once for all to claim our land back and to protect ourselves and let G.d extend His wrath over the world.
19. #18
Musho ,   Bay   (11.09.06)
Yeah, sure. As if God hadn't more interesting things to do. Last time I heard of him he was attending a gay parade in Florida.
20. Peres, go home you looser.
Avraham ,   Netivot   (11.09.06)
You won't be missed.
21. Field?
New Yorker ,   NY   (11.10.06)
Perhaps Peres really meant turning Gaza into a field and then conduct negotiations. Perhaps this was a mistranslation.
22. vote kadima out of office now
alan ,   frisco   (11.10.06)
Peres is one big embarrassment out of many in the Kadima Party Liberman should bring down the government now
