34. #25 Fadi the policies of Bush
Mark ,   USA   (11.09.06)
Three policies that showed me he has no interest in peace. 1) Iran made a peace offer in 2003 to talk about the Palestinian conflict and solve it through diplomacy He refused to look at it. He yelled at the Swiss diplomat who presented it to him. 2) Bush pressured Israel to NOT TALK to Syria about peace. Imagine that. A president against peaceful dialogue. He ordered Israel to not talk to Syria and Israel followed that insane advice 3)During the Lebanon War Bush wanted Olmert to attack Syria. Thankfully Olmert had enough intelligence to say "NO". The Israeli military were against Bush's plan. They said it was insane. It was insane and sick. I was shocked by Bush's comments.
35. He is an embarrassment to Israel
Molly Gold ,   Jerusalem   (11.09.06)

Marcel ,   Florida   (11.09.06)
I think if I went to Israel, the corrupt criminal rulers would silence my free speech as they do with so many of the faithful Jews who do not bow to the evil agenda of Washington. The jails of Israel fill up with political prisoners who oppose the Road Map from hell. Only lap dogs and puppet ministers become prime minister in vassal state of Israel. When will Jewish leadership stop rewarding Islamic terrorists by throwing Jews out of their homes and land. When will corrupt perverse Jewish leadership be removed and replaced by the Noam Federman's ,David Wilders and the true Jews ,the settlers who build up Zion instead of tearing it down for their golem master Bush ? At the appointed time I will be there.
37. Get Rid Of Olmert, Fast
Adina kutnicki ,   US   (11.09.06)
Wow and double wow! Olmert opines about PA 'civilian' deaths, and IS offering to give away the whole enchilada. (I mean Jewish inheritance.) It is a hoot that he calls Abbas a 'Palestinian patriot' and a descent man. He considers Arafat's number 1 man descent, and calls him a patriot. Depraved does not even begin to describe Olmert. I consider Olmert an immoral and totally indescent man, and definitely NOT a patriot. People, get rid of Olmert by any means necessary.
38. HEY FADI GLAD TO SEE U BACK
Im tired of all ,   the excuses   (11.09.06)
and note that even tho u get negative comments u are not put off.. MARHABA! Just for the record I am jewish and live in Israel and from the talkbacks all i see is tit for tat..you did to me hence I will do to you...no one wants this..everyone is sick and tired of this constant warring and fear on both sides. The Palestinians are stubborn I do believe more should be done to help them...but even they are not so innocent after all we all know what arafat did with the money that was given him...nothing went to the people it will now go to SUHA for her silence. I do believe that its cause and affect..they bombs us we retaliate and so it goes endlessly with countless lives being lost. The Palis Government is corrupt and lacks in leadership as is the Israeli Government we are effectively in the same boat. I dont condone the Palis behaviour i think more should be done to create jobs and better infrastructure instead of wasting the money that is given to them on killing others..they should educate themselves, improve their lives. Seriously Fadi would if you were anything but Lebanese would u want those people raging in your back yard...I doubt it. I am for change in the way we treat the Palis and the way they respond. Its high time that all these talkbackers stop promoting hatred on either side. We need to sit down and make a change and the sooner the better!! The entire region is in need of strong Leaders who can bring about democracy and free will for all. Peace be with you...Salam Alekum!

41. PM to Abbas: Willing to go far in peace talks
michael feldman ,   Valencia, USA   (11.09.06)
Oh Israel!!! Wake Up!!!! What will it take?? These people want you dead!! Your government is corrupt and stupid. Take it back....please!! The world does not care about more dead Jews.
42. #29 Mark, from USA
Jacob Engelmayer ,   Modiin, Israel   (11.09.06)
Instead of sitting by your computer 7000 miles away - come sit here in Israel for a while and you deal with the constant fear of shells coming down into your house. Israel is in, has been and seems like it will be at war. Pulling out of Gaza was smart - the daily Quassams that come in from there now should be tolerated and ignored? Israel violated nothing - the "truce" never transpired (unless you only mean suicide bombers - in which case your ignorant) and sometimes when you try and defend yourselves, people get hurt. That is the nature of war. Consider what Israel could do to Gaza if it really wanted to. The fact that it still exists shows Israel true restraint. World Opinion never mattered - a true desire for peace does.
43. #42 The government of Israel is corrupt
Mark ,   USA   (11.09.06)
Israel is flying over Lebanon and that is a clear violation of UN 1701. They refused to withdraw from all of Lebanon. These are facts. Israel is constantly making errors. Do you deny this? They violated the truce with Hamas and are responsible too. Anyone agree with me? Disagree?
44. #42 Israel has violated the ceasefire
Mark ,   usa   (11.09.06)
The ceasefire was many times violated by both Israel and the Palestinian militants. Israel had launched one after another air strikes and military offensive, while the militants had fired dozens of homemade rockets at Israel and carried out several suicide bombing attacks into Israel.
45. To Fadi: My letter to Olmert
Mark ,   USA   (11.09.06)
Mr. Olmert , Please engage in the peace process. Your government is incompetent and keeps making serious mistakes that will endanger the lives of Jews throughout the world. Stop killing innocent civilians and engage in peace. You need to have a Peace conference with All Arab Countries now. Enough of this violence. Work and demand peace!! We need diplomacy and NOT WAR. Shalom
46. Fadi: You need to replace Olmert
Mark ,   USA   (11.09.06)
You are telling people the truth. Olmert is corrupt. You can put him in his place. He must be removed from office. He will destroy Israel and the world. He should have learned from Lebanon. I am sick of his lies. He is the worst of the worst!! He is evil and has got to be removed from office.
47. Impeach Olmert,Impeach Olmert
Mark ,   USA   (11.09.06)
48. Peace with our neighbours
Abir ,   Chicago, IL USA   (11.09.06)
Given the dismal performance of our leadership and military during the last Lebanese conflict, it would perhaps be best that we negotiate with Syria & the Palestinians. Who knows what might happen if the military option was to be chosen?
49. #43/4, Mark, USA - Ceasefire Violation?
Jacob Engelmayer ,   Modiin, Israel   (11.09.06)
I/m unsure how UN1701 plays into Gaza - but I do not see Hezbollah disarming (a violation of 1559 as well), in fact they blatantly and proudly claim daily to be rearming. I dont see Israel bombing lebanon, just watching... making sure at least someone is watching because the blue hats are surely not doing that - also a violation of 1701. Israels neighbors want the Jews (zionists) out and they say it every single day at rallies, speeches and press conferences. They kidnap soldiers, fire missiles at civilian populations daily and strap on death belts intended to not only kill as many civilians, but mame as many more as they can in the process. How do you siggest Israel fight that? What would you do if Mexico or Canada openly declared war on the US and began similar tactics? What would you do if the Mexican President or Canadian Prime Minister would say "we want to drive the Americans on the East into the Atlantic and those on the West into the Pacific" - What would you do if your neighbor down the block constantly tossed TNT at your doorstep? Don't question what you know nothing about - and don't speak of what you do not experience, and don't judge those whose shoes you have not been in.
50. To #49 Israel is far from perfect!
Mark ,   USA   (11.10.06)
Both sides have made mistakes. Israel must take full responsibility for its action. You may not like to hear that but that is the real situation. 2 wrongs do not make a right.
51. Olmerde willing to go far
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (11.10.06)
He should go far. Far away.
52. Does Israel really want peace?
Mark ,   USA   (11.10.06)
Do supporters of Israel want peace? I hear few comments embracing a concept called peace. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God This Jewish man wanted peace.
53. Mark = Idiot
Jellybean ,   Chicago   (11.10.06)
First of all it takes two to make peace. You claim that Hamas was keeping its end of the bargain! Come on crackhead they oppose all peace. 1. they will not recognize Israel as a state 2. They do not condone violence 3. They will not release the solder. Now Israel should show restant, however if Israel is getting frusturated with Sucide Bombings and terrorist attacks how should they act? How would you act! Would you stand there and allow Sucide Bombers to attack your civilians? (you proberly would) Remember whenever there is an action there is a reaction. Maybe when both sides had enough of the violence and Hamas recogizes Isreal there could be peace. until then why don't you move in with Fadi in good ole Lebanon and Support Hez. You are such a loser!
54.  Does anyone agree with my ideas?
Mark ,   USA   (11.10.06)
If the Arab/Israeli conflict is not solved, the world will continue to turn to extremism. Doing Nothing is Not an option. Silence=Death
