I first heard of Matisyahu last Winter from a friend. After listening to song samples from "Live At Stubbs", I was hooked and haven't stopped playing his tunes since.
A more important part of my enjoying his music is my coming to understand his lyrics. How long has it been since singing about Jewish history was so cool?

I've heard better Reggae music, but who better than a Jew from Israel to sing it?
I mean it's really HIS music; belongs to HIM; and belongs to Judaism.
He needs to do an outdoor concert with a bunch of Reggae bands in the U.S. at some concert park.
I wonder if he's smokin dope like the rest of the Reggae artists I've seen in the U.S.?
I hope he's beyond that....
