1. God bless Nasrallah.!!! and every Shiite on this planet
We're all Nasrallah ,   Defeating the enemy   (11.15.06)
2. Nasrallah and Ahmadinejad are from the same school
(11.15.06)
The school of authoritarian dictatorship habouring genocidal and militaristic ambitions to conquer and create a new empire or reich. Look at history books to see who they model themselves on, and likewise how best not to deal with them
3. If he Gambles attack Israel, that is difficult
Steve ,   USA   (11.15.06)
B"H If Nasrallah gambles attack Israel, that is difficult. There are UN forces which have kept the missiles underground but do not dare patrol at night because of the danger. So counting on them to defend Israel seems bizarre. There would be a Lebanonese government who would be the address for response, but an Israel that does not want to settle Lebanon to actually respond by moving the hostile population and its government out. And if Hizbullah wants to take over the Lebanonese government, it would want to destabalize its rule by triggering interborder violence. Hizbullah's main attack is against Lebanon. Therefore antimissile defense seems the best solution. With the missiles coming in, they would be disabled, and then leave Hizbullah without any benefit from their destabalizing efforts, except for additional UN calls for their being taken out of the region by Israel, as Europe would have failed in the task. Hizbullah could loose very badly in that sort of gamble, when international backing sways in Israel's favor for a military solution to the problem.
4. #1 has a disease....
DR ,   Florida, USA   (11.15.06)
it's called Radical Isalm. There are many cures for this...bullets, bombs, missiles, BUT the best defence is to eductae people about scumbags like #1. Expose their demented outlook on life and their desire to kill, kill, kill anything that does not agree with them. So thank you #1 for showing us the scary face of extreme Islam.
5. Who lost the war?
(11.15.06)
FYI Mr zisser Hezbollah never lost power and status during the war. We all know how hezbollah humiliated the israeli army who failed to achieve any of their set objectives except bring destruction and bloodshed to lebanese people from the air. Down on the battlefield they couldnt even take control of the smallest village in southern lebanon. I think what would be even more comforting is if UN troops would be deployed on the israeli side of the border. Afterall who was the one who conducted a full scale onslaught due to a minor operation of kiddnapping 2 soldiers?
6. #5
BRL ,   USA   (11.16.06)
If Israel lost the was how could they conduct a full scale onslaught???
7. Price of last gamble is 'Million Refuges'. Gambling again?
KMR ,   Middle East   (11.15.06)
8. JUST KEEP IN THIS MENTALITY
hanzalah naji ali ,   AL-SHAJARA   (11.15.06)
the funny thing is that every israeli know how clever this man is, and that as polls says israelies believes that he has more creditability than there government in which in the 34 day war they were watching almanar hizbalah tv to know what going on really, again i wonder where is israel strategies planed, and if they prepairing thereselves well for future, i am sure they dont think logicly, they are looking only to be war agent for usa so they keep recieving it funds, and this for the short run, if they look really for future they should build trust, and they must look for real peace with the palestinian and the other arab, so be rational, and try to find where is your real interest, build love, not hate by killing innocent people like what happen in gaza, hate will bring more hate and that unfortunately what happened in sderot today, be wise , one day you will find that u have to sit with these people and negotiate, so prepare to talk with people who can accept u, not hate u deathly.
9. to ynet
hanzalah naji ali ,   al-shajara   (11.15.06)

10. Nasralla will give a chance to Israel to take revenge
Israeli   (11.16.06)
and this time ...no mercy for Nasralla
11. Dementia is an arab trademark
Mike ,   USA   (11.16.06)
The only thing is they don't wait to get until they are old.
12. Everyone has their lives to lose, and if enough lose them
Daniel ,   Formerly Israel   (11.15.06)
Then the rest won't want to go on fighting. Now given the numbers and radicalism of Muslims, we may have to kill many, but there is no shortage of terrorist targets. What's more, we may be able to avoid most of the killi\ng if wae simply start conquering and annexing land that is used to attack us. The arabs seem perfectly willing to die, if the result will be that we start conceding land to them, but if they see that their attacks are having the opposite result they will stop, and if they don't than those who are losing their homes as a result of the terrorists' actions will stop them.
13. no5
toni ,   sabme   (11.16.06)
israel did why? because , they value life more than there enemies do even if the israelies disagree with eachother they still go .
14. Poker
Joe ,   Israel   (11.15.06)
The sooner that Nasralla, Iran and Syria are deleted from the world map, the safer the entire world will be.
15. agree with#1. bless Nasrl - ayatolla of Hezballastan.
Rehavam ,   Israel   (11.16.06)
Very soon we gona hear CRY of hezballasteezians! he gona bring them to extinction.
16. Very bleak future in sight for Lebanon!
Maurice ,   Montreal   (11.16.06)
Let's face it: It is very clear that the goal of Nasrallah's Hezbollah and Iran is to turn Lebanon into an islamic Sharia based state like today's Iran. The Hezbollah initiated July war was only a prelude to the destabilization that the Hezbollah and Iran want to bring into Lebanon to achieve their goal. Now that Nasrallah "thinks" the Hezbollah gained strength among the Shiite population (which he basically bought with Iranian cash), he is proceding into the next phase: the political destabilization of the country. Unfortunately, Lebanon is in a no win situation: Either the 14-March freedom forces resist the Hezbollah, which will no doubt lead to a civil war, or else we will eventually see another islamic state.
17. #1 & #5 - you could help!
RIB ,   USA   (11.16.06)
http://memri.org/bin/articles.cgi?Page=archives&Area=sd&ID=SP127606 SHOW your 'LOYALTY'? Sign your KIDS up today!!! I thought this to be a 'WAR CRIME'! Human Shields (women, Seniors and CHILDREN), HOSTAGE taking seem to fall into the same category - War Crimes! Maybe you could look that up at Nasrallah/WARCRIMES'R'US_org. Or maybe you can find it at the UNSC website - arabwarcrimes'R'cool_suck And #5 - ONLY 2 Israeli HOSTAGES - there's that WAR CRIME again. And in GAZA, ONLY 1 HOSTAGE - these war crimes just seem to keep popping up. ~In a recent interview, General Norman Schwarzkopf was asked if he thought there was room for forgiveness toward Hezbollah. The General said, “I believe that forgiving Hezbollah is God's function. The Israeli's job is to arrange the meeting".
18. Is the author of this article from this Talkback?...
Kais ,   Qatar   (11.16.06)
The author is even more stupid than most people here in this talkback. I love visiting this site coz it makes me laugh every morning when I have time to get bored at work. The authors paragraph starts with a quote and conlusion out of context! The author seems not able to make up his mind wether Nassrallah did lose the latest war or not. He writes: "Nasrallah is in fact uninterested in a civil war. He wants quiet and stability that would allow him to rehabilitate his organization. He and his Shiite supporters are still licking the wounds of the last war." Then he goes on and writes: "Secondly, Nasrallah's willingness to challenge the Lebanese system's stability shows that he feels self-confidence and possibly believes that he regained the power and status lost during the war." ALso if Hezbollah lost the war then why would the author state on Israel's behalf that: ..."For Israel, the conclusions of this crisis are clear. First, the last war and Security Council Resolution 1701 created a fragile, unstable reality on our northern border. Those comforted by the deployment of the Lebanese army and the international force may discover that once fire is exchanged in Beirut, these forces would be the first ones to leave the area." It is a really poor article that can't reach its point in a convincing manner! Plz send this author back to Journalism school! He can have a free course at AL Jazeera if he is really interested ...
19. #5 and Fadi
Steve ,   Chicago USA   (11.16.06)
Do you remember the Iraqi Press Spokesman who told great stories of Iraq's tremedous success against the US while the US was marching to Bagdad? Did you guys go to the same school? Syria and Iran are just dumb enough to believe their propoganda that they won the war and that Israel is 50% beaten. But you two can read english and follow the real news. Not the crap in the Arab world. You know that Israel pounded Lebanon and Hezbollah. So bad that your buddies in Syria and Iran were actually too chicken to help you. And you know now that during the next conflict some midlevel cleric starts Israel is going to need to win big to regain the title of big swinging schlong in the middle east. 1,500 "innocents"? Next time the damage is going to be so great even you people with all your mathematicaly skills won't be able to count the dead. How do you say 1,000,000 in Farsi? #5 and Fadi, it's been a bad 500-600 years to your side of the Abraham family. And not even your beloved demographics is going to change this one. You people are so disorganized and suffer from so much internal infighting that you can outnumber Israel by 3 billion and not figure out how to win a red rover contest let alone modern warfare. Israel and the USA cannot be defeated in the long run and until you guys figure that out you'll continue to live your middle ages lives, never taste the good life and continue to blame everyone but yourself for your problems. And by the way, just try to find a talkback in the Arab world. You can't. So you come here to the west where ideas can be exchanged, people can communicate freely and the march of civilization goes on. Doesn't it just suck to be on the wrong side again and again?

FRED   (11.16.06)
THOSE MUSLIMS MIGHT THEY THAT THEY WANT TO KILL, BUT LOOK AT WHOSE MASS MURDERING PEOPLE FROM HIROSHIMA THROUGH IRAQ TO PALESTINE AND TO LEBANON AND BACK TO PALESTINE AND IRAQ. AND DON'T FORGET HITLER WAS A RELIGIOUS CHRISTIANE MAN BUT OFFCOURSE YOU TURN IT ANYWAY YOU WANT . KEEP IN MIND I DON'T AGREE WITH A LOT OF WHAT PART OF THE MUSLIM PEOPLE ARE DOING AND I WOULD FIGHT THEM TOOTH AND NAIL UNTILL THEY ARE VANISHED AND I THINK THEY ARE HURTING ISLAM MORE THAN ANY NONMUSLIM. BUT WITH THE WAY YOU ARE HANDLING THE ISSUE I HAVE NO INTEREST IN DOING SO BECAUSE FOR YOU I WILL BE NEXT ON THE LIST .
26. TEACHING HATE #4
FRED   (11.16.06)
YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT HATE READ WHAT YOU ARE WRITING AND LOOK AT THE RACISM IN THE UNITED STATES. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND LEBANON IF YOU LOVE USA AND YOU ARE CHRISTIAN LEARN HOW TO LOVE YOUR ENEMY THIS IS THE MESSAGE OF CHRISTIANITY NOT KILLING AND REVENGE AND BULLETS. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR HATE
27. #19
FRED   (11.16.06)
I AGREE WITH A LOT OF WHAT YOU SAY, AND IF YOU LISTEN TO WHAT SAYYED MOHAMAD HOSAIN FADLALAH SAID BEFORE YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND BETTER WHAT HIZBULLAH AND SHIA MUSLIMS IN LEBANON WANTS. THEY RESPECT THE WESTERN CIVILIZATION AND THE DEVELOPMENT AND "THE PARTIAL HUMAN RIGHTS" BUT WHAT THEY ARE AGAINST IS THE INTERFERENCE IN THEIR BUSINESS IF YOU ARE MILLITARLY WEAK IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU SHOULD FOLLOW AND IF YOUR STRONG IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU ARE RIGHT, JESUS WAS KILLED BUT HE STILL RIGHT AND HE WILL PREVAIL IF YOU DIE FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN THAT MEANS THAT YOU WIN BECAUSE EVENTUALLY EVERYONE WILL DIE.

29. #23 Chadi & 24 thanks for your posts
Sheri ,   rockville maryland   (11.17.06)
Chadi - thanks for the link. I will use it. Also what #24 Viveka said - the folks who write comments aren't representative, thank goodness. I find those who want to be thoughtful, move onto other forums where the conversation is ongoing & therefore responsible.
