of sderot depends on beit hanoun? Seems like the teenagers were the only ones who had a clue
2. Hang these jackasses for treason.
Jeremiah ,   Israel, Jewish Land   (11.15.06)
It is such a idiotic move to alow these jerks to be Knesset members. Liberalism is strangeling Israel, it's cutting off the flow of blood to our heads and causing brain damage.
3. I think that was negotiate "leaving"
Steve ,   USA   (11.15.06)
B"H Now here is an Arab MK that has the solution of not continuing the "cycle of violence" and negotiating. The "cycle of violence" is Arabs firing at Jews with no effective response from the IDF. That is the cycle. Let us see what kinds of negotiations there are: 1. Hamas position: make Sderot ghost town. Jewish position: stay. -seems like a deadlock with "no progress". What is this guy negotiating? The defeat of Israel and the signing over of the terms of surrender? Without specifics, I think the visit was insensitive. There is no negotiation with terror, and I find his proposed solution reprehensibie. He is asking his victim to negotiate with his assailant. That is very offensive at a funeral, especially when the victim cannot talk.
4. For heaven's sake...
Jonathan Edelstein ,   Kew Gardens, NY   (11.15.06)
When Arab MKs don't express sympathy for Jewish Israelis who are killed, then they're condemned as traitors. Now, when they do come to express sympathy, they're met with racist slurs. So what exactly do you want them to do? It could not have been easy for Barakeh to come to Sderot at such a time. Maybe he should be congratulated for trying to build bridges in this way and not condemned.
5. Take it easy man
Shareef ,   Jerusalem, PALESTINE   (11.15.06)
It is only one civilian killed so far, more that 200 kids and women have been killed first by your moral army, these women and kids were there before you in Jewish land, enjoy your jewish land!:)
6. #4 You think YNET is telling the full story
(11.15.06)
Give me a break, who reads ynet and makes it their own. Whatever ynet or haaretz or Maariv take it with a grain of salt, its been twisted and corrupted, half truths and sometimes outright lies to make you Jonahten Edelstein think like ynet.
7. Group of "youths"
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (11.15.06)
This tells us they were not Haredim or religious, otherwise YNet would have called them "extremists."
8. #4 Jonathan
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (11.15.06)
The Arab MK's ARE traitors. They did not go to Sderot to "express sympathy" they went for a photo op. They go to Gaza and Syria to express sympathy.

NO CLUE
10. Non Jewish?
YedLita ,   USA   (11.15.06)
The arab visit was reprehensible, but what is even more reprehensible is burrying faina in "non-jewish section of the cemetery". She died as a jew - she should be burried as a Jew. About time Israel got OFF it's high horse as far as burrying it's members and it's enemies.
11. Jonathan- Its because They Don't Really Care
Harold ,   Chicago   (11.15.06)
What do we want them to do? We want them to stop going to our enemies and praising them. We want them to stop glorifying those who attack the country and kill its citizens as couragious fighters in the glorious fight against the Israel. We want them to represent the State and say anyone who attacks this State attacks me. And we want them to pledge their allegance to the State and not to their "Arab brothers." That is the least one can expect from a representative of the State. So their arrival at the funeral was not to exhibit their outrage at these attacks against the State. It was a publicity stunt. And all the proof you need is their statement that they feel bad that a woman died, implying that all would have been ok if a soldier --- the one protecting thee sorry excuses for a "leader" -- had died.
12. I was there
Shlomo ,   Jerusalem   (11.15.06)
and I heard nothing of the sort. Many people were disgusted by the presence of the Arab MKs, but no one harassed them or said anything to them. The only thing offensive I saw was the behaviour of an AFP photographer (probably the one who shot the picture highlighted) who virtually trampled members of the Slotzker family in his attempt to get a "good" pictures.
13. Why do Jews not see what this truly is...
Daniel ,   Austin USA   (11.15.06)
These Arabs are there to inspect and ascertain the situation. It is a military ploy. They want to know firsthand what effect the Arab terror campaign is having. They feign remorse while they plan for more murder. We all know that they meet with the thugs of the middle east. The fact that they sit in the Knesset shows the moral bankruptcy of the Israeli government. They should be arrested along with Olmert and his gang. Justice demands that they all answer for their treason. This situation is intolerable. This is pure insanity and Olmert's response is proof that he is not a logical and sane thinker. Ugh! I am disgusted in the extreme. When I move to Israel I am going to make it my goal to end this lack of justice. Israel's governmental system has got to go. It must all go. The country needs accountability. Currently there is none.
14. They Should Have Been Forcibly Evicted
Adina Kutnicki ,   US   (11.15.06)
Just slurred, they should be tarred and feathered. They aid and abet the entire enemy octopus apparatus. How dare they show up in S'derot? The Jews in Israel are way to civilized.

Instead of building bridges - how about taking a bridge out of the country??? And not to forget to take a couple of millions of his brothers along with him. It's out, out, out...

Go away, Shareef. Go far, far away. The end of your visit in our land is near. You do not belong in Jerusalem ISRAEL.
18. Shareef "Take it easy man" (5)
sk ,   USA   (11.15.06)
Why should I care how many Pals are killed? The only time Pals care (or say they do) is when their human bombs don't kill Jews. Clearly you need to be expelled along with your mythical "Palestinian" buddies. You have a "Palestinian" state: Jordan. Get out.

v. n.y. ,   usa   (11.15.06)
you see, this is the difference between jews and muslims. one child of ours equals 200 of yours. this is how much we jews value life and how much you muslims value death. the same with one soldier prisoner for 1,500 muslim terrorist prisoners. your terrorists just hold no value, that is all.
20. to #4 What do we want them to do?

like the "respected" reuters and the guardian and tghe bbs who feed you false information, fake pictures, and a one sided view of events tghat never took place....like writing revisionist war events to substantiate their skewered anti israel views? maybe al jazeera or al manar....you can always read those. they REALLY REALLY TELL THE NEWS TREUTHFULLY....NOT!
22. ARAB MK'S IN SEDEROT
Rich ,   Miami USA   (11.16.06)
Theoffense is not that Arab MK's came to Sderot. The offense is that these same Arab MK's cheer on those who fire the Kassam's and the Katyusha's. Why did they come to Sderot? To mock Israel.
23. #21 Dont go down someone's throat without knowing the whole
(11.16.06)
story :) Never accuse someone, without knowing all the facts, understand? I agree with you, so next time dont harp or curse others where you dont have the full info. All the media organizations are anti Israel, thats a fact. Though, Arutz Sheva is good.
24. Re #4. The insensitive part
Steve ,   USA   (11.16.06)
B"H Attending a funeral is one thing. But I did not hear any of this talk when he visited the Arab casualties: Quote: The MKs said Sderot's security depends on the security of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza and urged the government, "to avoid escalation. Instead of sending more helicopters and tanks which will only worsen the blood cycle, we need to move on to negotiations." End quote I think that quote is very insensitive. It is wrong to politic at a funeral the idea of negotiating with a Kassam missile which really does not listen to anyone receptive, kind of like its sender. That is rude and highly improper.
25. Good first start...
Noam ,   Boca Raton, FL   (11.16.06)
It's nice to see Arab MKs having sympathy for Jewish citizens of their country. But it would have been nice had Hadash members visited towns hit by Katyushas during the summer and condemned the Hizbollah rocket fire unequivocally. However, I commend the MKs for showing support to bereaved families and condemn those youths who chanted racist slurs.
26. Slurs ????
leon ,   Grand Rapids U S A   (11.16.06)
Those weren't slurs ; they were descriptions.
27. these Arab MK's
israeli ,   israel   (11.16.06)
went to Sderot on a spying mission, to ascertain where exactly the rockets landed, so that they can report back to Hamas, so that Hamas can adjust their aim.
28. Why doesn't ynet tell us what the skinheads said?
Rob ,   portland, USA   (11.16.06)
It's no secret that the Jewish occuppiers of Palestine are racists and thugs. Why does Ynet feel that they need to protect us from the truth of what they said? Sad days. A Jew who thinks they have rights in Palestine is a racist scumbag, period. Why conceal the fact that they also use racist language, while attempting racist attacks on the real owners of the land?
