whenever i go back to my arab wife's hometown we have to avoid the muslims when they are praying because they are so hostile. my wife grew up (in the north where "it's not bad") having to accept muslims' ill-treatment while she didn't get that from jews. my wife and her family do not hate, and they are not treated bad by jews. muslims, on the other hand, are what is driving christians out of israel and the middle east. why do her family and friends move out of muslim areas to places where jews live and control? why do they want to have jews for neighbors? they know who treats them well and who are the oppressors. sure, we have relatives who hate israel. not because of anything israel has done to them, but because of the hate that is poisoning everyone. but, still, none of them are choosing to live with their "brothers" in the west bank or gaza, except one who hypocritically keeps their israeli citizenship in order to continue to receive the benefits of the enemy that is so hated. you can hate if you so choose, it's a free country, as opposed to muslim areas where you will be persecuted or killed if you show support for the zionists. i deplore such intolerance and refuse to raise our kids where hate is such a part of the culture. i have yet to see it living among jews. in fact, the opposite. palestinians should be happy they have an enemy like israel, as opposed to their friends and brothers who keep them holed up in refugee camps while denying them basic rights. at least israel doesn't treat their sworn enemy as they deserve, or better yet, as the palestinians treat israel. it is not desperation, it is hate and intolerance which predates 1948 and any supposed "oppression" after that. hate. and that's the reality which also explains the way muslims treat christians.
