In my high school chemistry class over thirty years ago, the teacher (a PhD in chemistry), went around the class, asking each student to correctly pronounce the word, "nuclear." When all had responded. He said: Don't let me ever hear any of you say 'nuCULAR'! The correct word is 'nuCLEAR." When Jimmy Carter used to refer to his Navy days, I was struck by the fact that he invariably said that he was on a "nucular" submarine. 'nuf said about the peanut farmer.

You are partially right. The USA does defend Israel. THANK GOD for that. Even if you don't believe in God, the US needs it's eyes and ears in that region.
