31. Most arab students are against this
Rami ,   Nazareth, Israel   (11.29.06)
The article is misleading, it makes it sound like all arabic students where happy to recieve the journal, while in reality many are against what the islamic movement stands for. Please note: Nasralla and bin laden are even more of a threat to christian Arabs than to Jews, The article should have mentioned that many arabs students see these people as a threat and the Islamic movement as the number 1 enemy .
32. Thank you, Ray
Mike ,   Atlanta, USA   (11.29.06)
"They mentioned Ariel Sharon and his provocation at the Haram al-Ash Sharif." Yes, Arab/Muslims riot as a form of expression. Or should I say launch a low-intensity war as a form of expression? Happy to see you agree. Your requests for criticizing Goldstein, Netanyahu, and the like do not go unheeded. Many of us just feel exhausted by Israeli Arabs and their antics and wonder why we do not see olive branches stemming from their side. If you want to blame Israeli journalism for the lack of Arab peace gestures, then don't feel offended when we disregard you. Honestly, I feel at the point where I disbelieve almost ANY peaceful gesture by an Arab/Muslim, because your collective track record exhibits deceit at nearly every turn. Again, blame whoever you want for that.
33. Sounds interesting, #24
Mike ,   Atlanta, USA   (11.29.06)
Any references that you can provide me for bedtime reading?
34. #29, Ray ignoaring reality and facts again
DR ,   Florida, USA   (11.29.06)
What is it with you Arabs that makes you completely ignore and deny reality? There is a direct quote from two of the men in the village where this journal is distributed and they say that Nasrallaha and other "great arab leaders" should be mentioned and remembered. Reality Ray, focus on reality. This is a blatant attempt by these radical muslims to glorify Bin Ladena nd Nasrallah, two of the worlds worst terrorists and you sit here and say there is nothing wrong and even go farther and blame the author from Ynet??? What is wrong with you demented, delusional arabs???
35. #29 Ray : well said, sure your cannot be full Israeli
observer   (11.29.06)
36. #25...Libnei whatever....
DR ,   Florida, USA   (11.29.06)
You keep idolizing terrorists and making them heroes for your children and then you complain that Isarel and the US won't accept this. Your culture, which makes scumbags into brave men, is wrong. You have to stop teaching your children that terror is good and maybe one day there will be peace.
37. Just proves Arabs are blood-thirsty savages.
Daisy ,   USA   (11.29.06)
What else is new?
38. #29, why do you ignore Mouad Hatib's quote?
Suzanne   (11.29.06)
I'll repeat: "We mention Nasrallah and the date of the kidnapping of the two soldiers and the killing of eight others as a brave operation that led to the Lebanon war ,"" Notice the word "brave" and: segregative statements, such as: "These things, and leaders like our leader Marwan Barghouti who is imprisoned in one of your jails, and the date of Arafat's death are very important."" notice "our" and "your" these guy lives in Israel and should act like an (Arab) Israeli. Not as some Arab guy from abroad. Reality, though. Shows something else.
39. why provoke?!!
Lynne   (11.29.06)
I think there was no need for such journals to be passed out especially in an Israeli university.. Arab/ Israeli relations are already on fire.. why pour oil on it with such silly provocations?? we've got to find a way to survive next to one another.. no matter hoe HUGE our misunderstandings.. as an Arab I would not accept Bush and Sharon's pictures being distributed on my university campus as great leaders.. so I would not accept Nasrallah's and Bin Laden's pictures being spread on Israeli campuses as great leaders!! we are in a very sensitive phase.. we do not need to hurt one another any further..
40. #38, they conveniently ignore facts...
DR ,   Florida, USA   (11.29.06)
This is the Arab/Muslim way. We have seen this for decades now. Denying reality, lying to the masses and believeing only the truths that support your cause...all Arab traits. The fact that an "objective" observer like Ray Hanania posted his ridiculous talkback only shows us that there is no objectivity in their ranks. My question again, how deos the international community expect Israel to deal with a culture that sees its own reality? One completely different than our own.
41. DR
(11.30.06)
So you get 2 quotes from 2 people and that means that you've proved Mr. Hanania wrong? Wow, I'm sure if we went to any large town or city in the world we could collect a few quotes praising evil men and then write an article about it and act like the whole town is full of hateful people. In fact, I'm sure we could go almost anywhere in Israel and find two people who praise Baruch Goldstein and then write an article proving that all Israelis want to massacre Palestinians. But that wouldn't be accurate, would it? Well neither is this article!
42. Do u really believe they said this???
Student ,   Haifa   (11.30.06)
I was there when the journalist came he said somebody from the university called him and told him about the pictures when he asked about the pictures of Bin-Laden and Nasrallah he was told that the journal contains the most important things that happened in every week and the two tower's strike and kidnapping the soldiers causing the Lebanon war were between those things, just as the first chinese nuclear bomb and something about king louis the ... but the journalist had another plans, he ignored the pictures of louis and Sharon and eiffel tower and Hiroshima and remembered only the pictures of bin-laden and nasrallah !!!! he even "forgot" every word he heared from the people who made this journal about the reason that made them but these pictures, and what he wrote was completely something else!!!! I don't know why he did this or who told him to do this but I know that he didn't write the truth, and I know that he didn't even want the truth when he came to the university....
