We would not want to ruin a tradition of all the cities in the country having the same street names. Streets can be named after a dead - leader (Herzl,Dayan,Rabin) Streets can be named after another place in Israel - (Yerushalayim etc.) That is all that is allowed it is the law. I would suggest to MK's Tibi, Barakh, Bashara, Zahalka and the like that they keep their mouths shut! They consorted with the enemy during the Lebanon War II and are doing their best to undermine the security of the State of Israel and ALL its people. In my book this is treason. During the war MK Zahalka told CNN that the IDF had placed weapons in the Arab villages and that was why they were bombed! I agree with the mayor. Let them name Arab streets by Arab names. Are there any Jewish names of streets in PA controlled areas? Of course not!
