31. Thanks to Israel from Lebanon
alan ,   lebanon   (12.01.06)
In your last military operations, whether your motives were to weaken Hezbollah or to turn the others against them; you emboldened Hezbollah and turned them, stronger than ever, against the others, while you weakened the government, paralyzed the economy, and destroyed the infrastructure... Way to screw up big one more time. Thanks and looking forward for your next offense.
32. Jellybean
Ryan ,   Calgary, Canada   (12.01.06)
Your right. Gotta break a few eggs to make a cake. ie, boston tea party, la riots in the 60's, are a few in your neck of the woods. Not everyone though has access to information, correct information that is, not brain wash material.
33. He hugged and squeezed Nasrallah and Hizbullah...
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (12.01.06)
Now Nasrallah is going to overthrown the moron. Go figure. Hug a terrorist at your own peril.
34. Hey Arabs! In Russian, NASRALLAH means...
Russian Hit Man ,   Brooklyn, NY, USA   (12.01.06)
"Took a sh*t on", specifically in the female gender, as in, "she took a sh*t on". (The male version would be "nasral"). Well the guy really took a dump on Lebanon, didn't he? I hear they are still picking up the wreckage, with at least 10,000 Shiites still homeless, living in tents or public schools.
35. # 7 How stupid STUPID STUPID you can be
Guido ,   Milano Italy   (12.01.06)
36. maybe youcan show him how to take advange of Canada

37. Hezbollah confusing ideology with religion
Marwan Khoury ,   Montreal   (12.01.06)
While the IDF and the IAF do their utmost to prevent civilians from getting hurt (even calling off the airstrikes to prevent casualties - where is their praise?), the terrorists of Hamas and Hezbollah intentionally target Israeli civilians including children. They are even proud of it, despite the fact that is it Haram حرام (forbidden) to target civilians. This proves that they are not real Moslems but takfiris using it to justify their hateful ideology. In 2005, the Fiqh Council of North America issued a fatwa that called "all acts of terrorism targeting civilians... haraam in Islam" and said that "targeting civilians` life and property through suicide bombings or any other method of attack is strictly forbidden and therefore haraam."
38. Where are Fouad Siniora's tears?
Marwan Khoury ,   Montreal   (12.01.06)
Not too long ago he was crying when Israelis responded to Hezbollah-Iranian-Syrian agression. Using civilians as shields the Hezbollah goons killed not just them but the chance for Lebanon's democracy. Hezbollah has proven again and again that their culture is that of intolerant Iran. They are destorying democracy and co-existence in Lebanon to satisfy their masters in Tehran and Damascus. They are completely foreign to Lebanon and do not care about Lebanon's interests. Hezbollah and their supporters have to be kicked out of Lebanon for the sake of Lebanon's future. Rather than again show his impotence in facing Hezbollah, Siniora has to ask for the EU and UNIFIL for help in disarming them and dismantling their institutions, bases, charities etc. For God's sake assert your authority, Mr. Prime Minister.
39. #21 ALAJEER - in what dillusional world do you live in?
Marwan Khoury ,   Montreal   (12.01.06)
If you think that Hezbollah won you clearly have not been to Lebanon nor been paying any attention. By every military standard Hezbollah lost big time - close to a 1,000 fighters (about 30% of the total) as well as hundreds wounded. Many bases, bunkers taken out, intelligence posts destroyed. Israel suffered very little, some killed, including many Israeli-Arabs, several tanks destroyed. In all it was the begging of Siniora that got to the European bleeding hearts and they had to pressure Israel from completely destroying Hezbollah. It was also Olmert's mistake not to let the IDF use its might to wipe out the cancer that is Hezbollah. I am sure that mistake will not be repeated again. The only way for Hezbollah to claim victory is simply by surviving. Well, that's not much of victory. Its like saying the little boy won a fight against Hollyfield by simply surving through the first round while crouching on the floor, hiding behind women, screaming for help. No matter how fast their Iranian masters throw the weapons, Hezbollah's military machine was heavily damaged by the IDF. All of the Lebanese patriots are truly thankful to Israel for that.
40. Where is the alliance between Druze & Maronites against Hezb
Marwan Khoury ,   Montreal   (12.01.06)
he SLA soldiers never used civilians as shield like Hezbollah and Hamas. The fought like warriors and when they had to withdraw they did rather than cause harm to civilians. Most of South Lebanese prefer to become Israeli citizens or move to Europe and North America or to other parts of Lebanon rather than live under the Hezbollah Iranian mullah regime dependent on handouts and Syrian smuggling. The south Lebanese chose to be part of Lebanese future and to kick out Iranian and Syrian agents from the entire territory of Lebanon. Only then can they return to their traditional lands and build a peaceful life co-existing with their Israeli neighbors.
41. #8 (Arie)
sk ,   USA   (12.01.06)
Absolutely. One quibble: the last link was by the lobotymized Emanuele Ottolenghi. He/she is one of the dummies who also write for the J. Post, and the comments about the lack of Hezbollah success given the UN resolution have shown that, as always, The Ott is wrong. E.g.: "2. While many suggested that Syria and Iran should be engaged as key players, and that the Gaza situation should be included in a U.N. deal, Resolution 1701 makes no reference to either. Meanwhile, Nasrallah caused a significant setback for Iran’s limited achievements in the field of nuclear negotiations with the international community." Well, Resolution 1701 is a big fraud, and what it mentions or does not mention is irrelevant. Iran has indeed improved its position in Lebanon, as has Hezbollah. Of course, the Lebanese have lost, except for the slimy Shiites.
42. tea man (20) a typical Arab (and that's not good)
sk ,   USA   (12.01.06)
"20. we do not worship nasralah we worship his master the almighty allah we are not deranged but we are not sissy like yourself when we see somthing wrong we do something about ala take to the street tell me have you done anything about your corrupt neo-con bush and company no you cann't even hit the beach may be the sharks wearing black turban wake up dude smell the coffe from south america" I congratulate you, tea man, for spelling out "you" and "your" (as opposed to "u" and "ur"). Alas, this is the only good thing about your talkback. First, there is your silling parroting of US Democratic Party talking points, which, in fact, you have gotten indirectly via Iran's Monkey Leader. Where do you think you got the usage "neo-con"? Hadith? Anyway, there not HUGE mass demonstrations against Bush because, while he is not that popular, only the way-left-wing is actually foaming at the mouth about him. (However, there are plenty of smaller protests against Bush.) In addition, unlike Lebanon, the US has working democratic institutions. Bush's unpopularity was translated into a loss in both House and Senate for the Republicans. This is how a democracy works. Second, you idiotically believe that the US is a sissy state. Some might say that the US, born in a revolution against the then-mighty Britain, has done rather better than you sissies in Lebanon, and better than the other currently whining Arab state sissies that were completely controlled by a couple of 2nd rate European powers in the 19th and 20th centuries. What you fail to understand is that AT ANY TIME, you can all be destroyed the US. I hope it will be soon.
43. Re #8. Brilliant History of the War
Steve ,   USA   (12.01.06)
B"H Re #8. Brilliant History of the War You should write a web-book, you really should. Those articles you cited are excellent source material. Too often the history gets lost. Thank you for refreshing our collective memories on how this war really started. It seems to me that when Olmert saw the act of war of murder of Israeli soldiers, he initiated the response. Despite the critics of the war, that may have been a really wise move. So at least if Syria attacks the Golan directly, they have expectations of what is coming. Syria is just a proxy to Iran like Lebanon is a proxy to Syria. Syria, you like the fall of Lebanon? I would not be so pleased. You are the next domino, and it just a matter of time before Iran figures that it can do to you what you are doing to Lebanon.
44. Strange that Hiz. is exposed so fast
Ibrahim ,   S. Arabia   (12.01.06)
I didn't really expect that Hizbullah's play for Lebanon domination would happen so fast after the war-now it is proven that the war was started for this reason. I wonder if now there is ANY Lebanese still unaware of Hizbullah's goals re: Lebanon. The wild animal that was being raised in the home as a pet has now grown up and showing its true nature.
45. A Poem called - Nasrallah
Sami ,   Reading UK   (12.01.06)
A puffed up half wit called Nasrallah. Ring leader of a gang called Hezbollah. He said 'Now Lebanons all mine'. 'Israel is next in line'. 'And the whole world will kiss my feet Inshallah!'.

47. Democracy??
Natan ,   USA   (12.01.06)
What democracy is Seniora talking about?? Half of Lebanon has been under Hizbollah's control for years!!! Hizbollah attacked Israel and as a result brought misery and destruction to Lebanon, yet the Lebanese, including Seniora hailed Nassralah as a hero. Now they see the true colors of this organization. How pathetic!!1 Message to Lebanon: YOU MADE THE BED, YOU SLEEP IN IT!!!
48. To Ryan
Jellybean ,   Chicago   (12.01.06)
That is true. Like I said it is very sad. But the bad thing is that there should be tolerance but if parents can't teach that to their children you know very few mullahs would. Once the hate stops maybe there could be a chance.
49. To # 31
(12.01.06)
You never change. Everything that happens to you you find a reason to blame Israel.. You are pathetic. When will you ever take responsibilty and accountability for your own actions???? What i am trying to say is that it is time you took your heads out of your asses!!!!
50. Hey

51. tea man
???   (12.01.06)
"we are not deranged" Yes you are. "but we are not sissy like yourself" Right, hiding behind women and children in a time of war is such a manly thing to do in your culture! "we worship his master the almighty allah" And you're going to force your "allah" onto the Christians in Lebanon and if they don't succumb to your religion, then they will either be killed off or made to pay a special tax. The world is familiar with the way you bastards operate!
52. Ali
???   (12.01.06)
"If you want to know how to apply democracy then just look at Lebanon" LMAO And you say that with a straight face all the way from CANADA? Hey, go back to Lebanon and live in that wonderful sharia, er I mean Democracy.
