3. So How is Israel supposed to negotiate?
Steve ,   USA   (12.01.06)
B"H If Hamas cannot recognize the PA and negotiate with it, the problem is not uniquely Israel's to face. This turning the negotiation business around is not just Arafat's specialty. It seems Hamas is good at it too. However, having two players turn on each other continuously makes it impossible for Israel to negotiate. If one satisfied, the other is not. It is like negotiating with a Schizophrenic. One personality says yes and the other says no. One personality says peace and the other says war. Europe cannot even straighten out this sickness, and no wonder negotiation has come to a deadlock. So Arabs, forget the negotiations and just make peace anyway. Invite the Jews in, and let the situation calm down and you will be in a much better situation.

6. Give ear, ye heavens - and I will speak...
Norway   (12.01.06)
and let the earth hear the words of my mouth... My doctrine shall drop as the rain... my speech shall distil as the dew... as the small rain upon the tender grass... and as the showers upon the herb... For I will proclaim the name of the L*rd ascribe ye greatness unto our G*d... The Rock His work is perfect... for all His ways are justice... a G*d of faithfulness just and right is He... For the portion of the L*rd is His people Jacob the lot of His inheritance... He found him in a desert land and in the waste a howling wilderness... He compassed him about He cared for him He kept him as the apple of His eye... As an eagle that stirreth up her nest hovereth over her young spreadeth abroad her wings taketh them beareth them on her pinions... The L*rd alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with Him. He made him ride on the high places of the earth... and he did eat the fruitage of the field... and He made him to suck honey out of the crag... and oil out of the flinty rock... Curd of kine and milk of sheep with fat of lambs and rams of the breed of Bashan and he-goats with the kidney-fat of wheat and of the blood of the grape thou drankest foaming wine... Deut. 32

Just as Hashem hardened Pharoh's heart, so the palestinians are inviting ten plagues on themselves
8. Momentous? Again?
(12.01.06)
He's been giving "momentous" speeches for years. No one seems to be listening. Anyway, he never acts on anything he says, the speeches are forgotten in a day. So, Mr Abbas & his disunity gov't are supposed to be our "partners for peace" - just who exactly does he represent? Well, he represents the wishful thinking of the EU, the US, maybe the UN, & the idiots in our gov't who also make speeches totally removed from reality. He also represents a bunch of thieves who have embezzled money for years under Arafat & would like to continue stealing for as long as possible. So maybe in this momentous speech, he will renounce the "right of return" for refugees, admit that a return to 1967 borders won't happen, that Israel has equal claim to Jersusalem, perhaps that since so many Arabs live in Israel, Jews should be able to stay in a future Palestinian state - now that would be momentous. But no, we all know he won't say any such thing. So why is our gov't talking to him?
9. Momentous
Sagi ,   Israel   (12.01.06)
by definition means important or consequential. I can not remember any actions or words in the past coming from this man that could possibly be described as having these qualities. Perhaps we are in for a big surprise. Something like, we made a mistake 60 years ago and an even bigger one when we followed the path of Arafat, we are sorry for all the suffering and now we want to recant and make peace with you and the world. Anything less than that will not be "momentous".
10. The only words..............
Sameer S Reehani ,   Houston,Tx U S A   (12.01.06)
Mr.Abbas;the only words that should come out of your mouth,"you're all fired.Just go,and look for another job.Let's see who is going to hire you. You're just not worthy of the palestinian people.
