1. He said he took "careful note" . . .
Fred Nerks ,   Israel   (12.02.06)
If I was kofi 'head in the clouds' anan, I too would be bloody "careful" with each and every move, decision, statement, decry, etc... Measures that are constructive, productive and BOLD are for those posting there fantasies and stuff in here at Ynet, right? Oh, the irony: ‘. . "It is plain that there is a need for bilateral assistance to the government to enhance its border security capabilities," Annan wrote, asking nations to help Beirut. . . ' verses. ' . . Israel insists the overflights are needed to guard against arms smuggling into Lebanon from neighboring Syria. . . ' Pathetic and useless comes to mind.
2. WOW, all hate for Israel all around
Earthling ,   EARTH   (12.02.06)
In criticising Lebanon Israel is lambasted and accused of ceasefire violations. Pass pro-palestinian resolutions and the UN can't even get make one measley soldier kipnapped and causing the war. Can the world be so blind as to not SEE the anti-israeli agenda????
3. Annan - what about Darfur?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (12.02.06)
Instead of bashing Israel over her RIGHT to defend herself against the murderous attacks by Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the like, you should devote your last days as the most incompetent, inept and idiotic UN Secretary General in the history of that useless body, to raising hell about the plight of the people in Darfur, the human rights violations in Burma, China and various other totalitarian regimes. You can still go down in history as someone who did something, instead of a buffoon in the pay of the Arabs!
