1. Here's something bold for you sir.
Al ,   Canada   (12.12.06)
I suggest you get a brain. You could care less about the Jewish State of Israel. Your concern is wanting to have "Bold Moves". Get with the program. You have failed in your many previous bold moves. Final question. What the F were you doing in the southern US? Looking for a safe harbour once Isreal goes to hell. Dont worry your stench will be smelled from afar. You see Bubba and freinds will carve your fat Jewish ass to shit. Dumb Ass
2. you are exactly right
Aviad ,   Zurich, Switzerland   (12.12.06)
every Jew who takes the help of an Evangelical should think about the fact that about 250000 Jews have been converted to Christianity in the last few years by Evangelicals, many by groups like "Jews for Jesus". Visit www.jewsforjudaism.com to learn more about their tactics to convert Jews and to have an appropriate answer to their threat
3. YNET LOVES TRAITORS LIKE THIS GUY
(12.12.06)
4. support for Israel
supporter ,   atlanta, GA   (12.12.06)
I'm one of those you describe and you are wrong on several points. We don't hope Israel or anyone is nuked. If you believe the prophecy it says G-d will protect Israel from this. Second, we believe those that don't stand with Israel in this war will be punished. Third, the prophecy is not directly linked to Armagedddon, just states that it will occur in the latter days. Fourth, the administration has many secular neo-cons who mock Christians privately. Fifth, most Christians I know support Israel for secular reasons also--and did so before all this talk of prophecy.
5. Al, Canada
Avi ,   Binyamina, Israel   (12.12.06)
You're exactly the kind of nut job he is describing. You weren't able to meet even one of his points, just throw out insults.
6. Jesus
Mary ,   USA   (12.12.06)
Okay, so what, we Christains worship a Jewish Rabbi, we are a lot better than those who hate you in the world, and there are many of them. Do not lump us all together, we do not wish for the "End of Days" but it will come, if you belive in the OT, NT, which ever Messiah you are waiting for, at least we are praying for you Israel, and are not planning on wiping you off the face of the earth. We might be the only ones left soon that would help you. It is better than nothing..........
7. BOLD DIPLOMATIC MOVES
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (12.12.06)
We all know what that means when one of our socalled israeli intuelectuals start talking like that.People like that want to be seen as israelis not as jews,so anyone who is G'd fearing is a radical or fundamentalist. Having lived in the states, i wish that the israelis could have the same faith and love for the land of Israel as they have. These people do what we are supposed to be doing here and that is to sanctify G"ds name. If you would read these talkbacks ,which i am sure you will not,in your typical israeli arrogant fashion. You would understand that israelis are a bunch of lost souls without a clue what is at stake here.Yust looking at the bunch of babeling idiots that run this nation(into the ground) you can see how zionism has sucseeded in creating a secular state. And the change of its survival is very slim.Maybey it is time for you and your fellow great opinion makers to go back to your real roots, which is our Torah. So that finaly we can live in peace here. Our enemies are not on the outside, but as always within.
8. Support for Israel
Jerry ,   Kansas City   (12.12.06)
Yes,#4 got it right. I too am one of those living in the "bible belt". Our love for the Jewish people will not be shaken by politics or skeptics. It is not based on man's idea's or thought. There is only one(1) true Messiah that the Old Testament fortold (360 related passages). Everyone was fullfilled to the letter. We believe His name is Jesus. It is not our words that we proclaim, but those of God himself. The US government does not speak for christians nor do we want it to. Man always seems to think that we can control God, been like this forever. One of the main reasons why people are skeptical is because the do not read and apply faith to what the have read according to God's word. Very easy to laugh at and make fun of with lack of understand . Thanks.
9. I don't see any problem with Evangelical support......
Mush DeLeon ,   Brooklyn, New York   (12.12.06)
....If they're wrong, fine, Israel will simply continue to exist and be supported. If they're right, well, at least then we'll all know which religion "called it". You know?
10. Fantasy of psychopath
Alex ,   LA, USA   (12.12.06)
This guy is psychopath. He 'knows' more than dudes with small brains supposed to know and needs an immiediate help. Perhas, Soros or the Iranian prez will help him.
11. more support for Israel
supporter too ,   san diego usa   (12.12.06)
As #4, I am also a believer and agree with #4. I know of no believer who wants Israel to be hit, thinks Israel should be hit or believes that Israel will be hit by a nuclear weapon. We pray for the protection of Israel. Also, our belief in Israel is based upon Torah, and based upon G-d's instructions. Simply put, G-d's Chosen people are Israel and we are to bless them. And yes, we are mocked by secular neo-cons and despised by Democrats. But, the people of Israel should be aware that one of the reasons we are despised is because we are determined to stand with Israel. Yes, it is conditional. G-d says that if we bless the Chosen people, the Jews, we will be blessed. If we curse them we too will be cursed. It would be truly crazy to hope for ANYTHING bad to happen to Israel.
12. supporter too
john ,   san diego usa   (12.12.06)
Like #4, I am a believer too. My love of Israel is based on Torah. G-d instructs us to bless the Chosen, Israel. The only condition is the one G-d makes, that if I bless Israel, I will be blessed, if I curse Israel, I'll be cursed. I choose the blessing. But, I also know that "Christians" haven't a great reputation when it comes to standing with the Jews. So, since our dedication and devotion to Israel is not dependent upon the people of Israel liking me, admiring, thanking me etc... I think it is only good sense that Israelis remain skeptical, always remain on guard, and of course continue to search, study, believe and live Torah.
13. american christian
drew ,   USA   (12.12.06)
the idea that american christians want a nuclear iran in any shape or form is absurd. it's ahmadinejad that has this crazy notion of accelerating the apocalypse. i for one am fearful of the direction the world is going just sitting back and waiting and watching and wish my government would find a better way to deter proliferation, especially in states that have openly threatened Israel. christian or not, nobody wants nuclear weapons dropped anywhere, and it's a misrepresentation, bible belters included, to say otherwise.
14. Who is the enemy?
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (12.12.06)
Last time I checked, evangelical Christians were not flocking to a Holocaust Denial Summit or calling for Israel to be wiped off the map. Paritzky is a freaking retard.
15. Geography and stuff
Jesus Freak ,   Bible Belt, USA   (12.12.06)
"This giant region stretches from Louisiana to New Mexico" Ha ha, I'm just a dumb goyim and I know the geography of the Holy Land better than this guy knows the geography of the USA.
16. Thanks For Stereotyping Us
Patrick ,   Boston, MA   (12.12.06)
I'm an American atheist who is proud to be counted as a genuine friend of Israel. I voted for Bush—not because I'm a Republican (which I'm not), but because he, more than any of his contemporaries, stands against the true fundamentalists: the mujahideen who want to destroy us all. I don't care if some of my fellow Americans love Israel for purely religious reasons—at least they care about beating back the barbarians who would make Israel Judenrein, unlike the secular fundamentalists here and elsewhere who consistently side with Israel's enemies. And besides, when was the last time you heard of a Southern Baptist beheading a Jew or Muslim, or stepping onto a public transit bus wearing high explosives attire? Your conclusions are oversimplistic and insulting, Mr. Paritzky.
17. support
supporter ,   Atlanta , GA   (12.12.06)
Also, the part about Messiah acceptance: Yes, we believe Jesus is the Messiah--it's what it means to be Christian. We believe G-d will and has kept His promises to the Jewish people and has used Jews to bless the world. Yes we believe Jesus will return a second time, and it will be obvious to Jews this time. Jews will be proud of Him and his jewishness, and there is not be a "I told you so now believe or perish" issue. I can't speak for all people, but I am a fundamentalist Christian, and I would support Israel if I became an atheist tomorrow. Nevertheless, if one believes the end-time prophecies as I have been taught, no harm to the Jewish people and no coersion of belief is going to occur as a necessary factor in our eschatology. The time table is in G-d's hands, and not ours, Israel's, or Iran's. I have been taught to repect Jewish people and not hate them for not accepting Jesus. Please read Epicenter by Joel Rosenberg or any of John Hagee's books on Israel before judging us--this article takes some things out of context.

Thank you for your post.
19. Trillion Dollars questions for both sides:
Ali Miah ,   Chicago, USA   (12.12.06)
If other side recognizes your existence and your state, then what rights will they have in your state?
20. Not just Naturei Karta
David ,   Boston   (12.12.06)
Paritzky is an insane f... idiot. Does he believe that if Israel were to give up Golan and the rest the Iranians would love Israel. And they say Jews are intelligent! Gd knows Ynet manages to find and give space to the most depraved Jews in Israel. Let him join NK in Iran!
21. So the author prefers alliance with the Left
AK   (12.12.06)
except the Left keeps screaming 'Get the Jew" and "Down with Israel, the modern Nazi State." Taught choices for the author, indeed -- to die a Leftist at the hands of other Leftists or accept the help of those …..Christians. Just get it through your head, the people you really want to love you just can't wait to see you dead. You want no help at all? You keep going the way you do and you might just get your way.
22. Most Americans who support Israel are not Evangelicals.
Daisy ,   USA   (12.12.06)
Americans who support Israel are from various backgrounds. The Christian fundamentalists just happen to be more outspken about it.
23. Wrong!
Denton ,   Ozark Alabama   (12.12.06)
I am Christian and live in Alabama, the Heart of Dixie. I can tell you that your view is very askew. While, yes, we do see Israel as being the land the G-d of Abraham gave the Jews and support our brothers, we are not wishing war on Israel to see the "End Times". As a "Fundamentalist" Christian, I find your view of me as being extremely biased and flawed. Don't worry, though, I don't view you as being the end-all Israeli-Jew, either.
24. Supporter, and your errors
Lisa ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (12.12.06)
1. Glad to hear there are still billboards for supporting Israel...thought they may have been replaced by gambling casino ads! 2. The love we Christians have for Israel is because the Jewish Rabbi that we follow asked us to care for His brethren in the NT; and God said those who bless Israel will be blessed and those that curse Israel will be cursed in the OT. We take that literally. (Unlike the thinking Muslims have towards Jews and Israel.) 3. Israel is God's, and in all the world, Jerusalem is where He put His name FOREVER...we believe only Israel...not even the church...have rights to that land! Get that Vatican!!!! 4. We do not see Israel as "potential Christians". Can you not accept that God called people to just love you? 5. Christian's do NOT wish for, or wish for a hastening of, a nuclear attack -or any attack- on Israel! We pray for your protection every day!!! 6. Washington is NOT at the beck and call of "Fundementalist Christians" NOR is Washington sitting and watching for Iran to strike Israel in order to "fulfill a prophecy". IF Washington had a Fundementalist Christian mindset, they wouldn't be pressuring Israel to make deals with the devil and they would realize the danger Iran IS. Reading Psalm 2 pretty much pictures the madness of nations. 7. Gog/Magog is NOT Armageddon either. 8. Who said that ALL Muslims have no hope of redemption? 9. Yes, Israel and Christians are both looking for Messiah, the same one spoken of in Isaiah...he is your "benJoseph", Jesus is his name, the suffering servant of and He is returning as your "benDavid". Jews miss that it is one Messiah returning twice, not two messiah's. "Fundementalist Christians" are your real friends and we ask nothing in return, God put that love in us. Yerushalayim Shalom Shaalu
25. friendly wager
Daniel Olson ,   San Jose, America   (12.12.06)
I agree also with #4 above, on every point. Our Jewish friends in Israel and elsewhere have nothing to fear from the so-called "fundamentalist" eschatology described above, because it is explicitly clear that G-d himself will reveal the truth about Jesus, that he is the Messiah, leading to Jewish acceptance of him. There will be no coercion, and no punishment meted out by Christians to Jews who do not accept Jesus as Messiah. It will be entirely G-d's doing, according to this eschatological scenario. What we have is a friendly wager about what G-d is going to do in the future. We will all see who is right and who is not, and until then we affirm each other in warmth and sincere friendship, wanting only for the other to see and recognize the truth, even though we disagree about what that truth is at present.
26. Yossi is just a tiny bit overboard
RCA ,   USA   (12.12.06)
I am a native New Yorker, who lived in the East Bronx (THE GRAND CONCOURSE) when it was Jewish, and now live in Alabama. It's been one of the best kept secrets that there are many Jews living happy lives throughout the South besides Florida. Jews here live well both in Jewish communities and embedded within Christian neighborhoods. The synagogues in Alabama usually have good relationships with the neighboring Christian congregations while Jewish community activities operate below the radar. We have been fortunate to have extremely wonderful Rabbis experienced in community outreach that have made the surrounding communities very comfortable with us. Regarding Yossi Paritzky, his comments all depend on who he was talking to. In Alabama, Christians, like the Jews here, cover the spectrum from liberal to not so liberal to fundamentalist to Orthodox. Each has their own take on scriptures, prophesy, the TORAH, the Bible etc...Depending on the area that Yossi visited, I'm sure , determined the viewpoint that he heard. In some areas, the majority are of one denomination while others are mixed. Exactly the same for Jews. Some areas are of one Jewish movement... Yossi may have had to cover alot of ground in the South so he may have had to resort to some stereotyping to make his points. So take him with a little grain of salt. PS- We would like to see our Jewish communities in Alabama grow bigger, so if you live in Israel, Teaneck NJ (I lived in Teaneck for years), Cherry Hill NJ, Florida, or elsewhere check out Alabama. You can't beat the prices ( lowest taxes, lowest prices for land, lowest real estate). We want more Jews.
27. to all the wonderful christians from a jew/israeli
megi ,   lon   (12.12.06)
thank you very much for supporting and loving us. for me and all the people i know you are the only true friends we ever had. i see you all as jews and brothers cos in the bible when rahab risked her life in the battle of jeriho god said she become a child of israel. thank you again and may god bless all the people of america and israel.
28. sorry notzrim...thanks but not thanks. #6 is a prime example
yonatan ,   nyc   (12.12.06)
these fundamentalist views don't sit well with many of us. as jews, we know very well who our real enemies are, just because you say that you don't want to wipe us out doesn't say much. i have yet to see real sincere support from the evangelical community showing that they actually care about the well being of the jewish people. if it wasn't for your jesus prophecies none of you would even give a shit about us.
29. and just to clarify....
yonatan ,   nyc   (12.12.06)
i wasn't speaking about ordinary christians, i was speaking about the evangelical community.
