I served in Gaza during the first intafada and I was there during the first days of HAMAS and saw how they forced people to join . the vilance and abuses the threats and the rapes. I wittnesses the cancer like growth in the Alay Muktar area of Gaza which was a small peaceful part of the city. I saw it turn to an ugly area of angry people and from smiling kids to stone throwing thugs. Hamas is a cancer on the middle east as is Hizbulla. both need to be cut out and cut out now!

I think that if Haniya wants to be a martyr so much, the least Israel can do is oblige him. After all, Yassin and Rantisi got what they deserved and we should show the same respect to Haniya. Just one bullet by an israeli pro and not by palestinian amateurs should do the trick.

The most disgusting thing of all is that terrorist leaders proclaim to be shahids to their people while living lavish lives of luxury and sending others out to blow themselves up. Take Haniyeh for example. Judging by his waistline, I bet he would be more willing to die for a piece of pie then for his "resistance."

the concept of the shahid is not to be dismissed as a joke. it is dead serious. how to inject hope, faith, and a love of life into a warrior cult that sees death as life's highest calling. perhaps flowers and love beads would do the trick?
