Evangelical Christians always want to convert everyone to their way of belief- other Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, and believe it or not especially Jews. Whereas the Buddhists, Hindus, and Muslims are too big a target for them, and are too smart and especially have too strong self-worth and confidence, only we Jews are stupid enough to believe that the evangelical Christians just want to be "friends".

Dave you may just have mistaken Catholics and Protestants. Protestants believe that God is so loving, that he will forgive everyones' sins. Therefore everyone will go to Heaven. These Evangelicals are not Christians and they don't represent us as Palestinian Christians.. We are not against Jews or Israelis, we recognize the right of Israel to exist, but we ask them to recognize our right to live with degnity in our own homeland, we are not asking anybody to give us a favor and give us a gift.. we ask for our own Land, even a small piece (1/4 only).. If this Pastor lives in a refugee camp he will know how miserable Palestinians are living because of the Israeli melitary occupation.. Our Palestinian Arab Christians and we represent only the Christians in the Holy Land.. He dosn't speak on our name...We are not agianst Israel but against the Israeli occupation.. End the occupation.. ther is a place for everybody here.. This Land will become the Paradise of the world.. If you want peace and security, let us live in peace...

The Christians from Lebanon, like myself, are not Arabs. We speak Arabic but we are not Arabs. Some Arabs from Holy Land say that they are Christians by occupation, they need Western turists and money but at home they are Muslims. The same was told to my friends in America.

To Dave I say, all religions encourages people from various back ground to convert/re-energize their religious beliefs(case in point, recently a knesset member wanted a law passed discouraging older religious folks from pressuring younger ones to become more religious).We are not forcing people to submit or face being killed. But for what exactly are the evangelical xtians grateful? If they're grateful for the Jewish people and the teachings of the Jewish religion, then why are they still xtians? In Genesis and Ezekial and several other places in the Bible, God tells what he will do for those who do not bless the Israel. However a person thinks about homosexuality it is important to believe what the Bible says about it. The Bible says that God just doesn't like homosexuality but that it is an abomination. Worse than simply just disliking something. God has withheld judgement on America for these sins but that will stop if we turn against Israel. If we pull our support from Israel America will fall. Britain was once the greatest power in the world but betrayed Israel and look where she is now as a country? The same thing will happen to us if we don't honor Israel. There are many missionarys that are not Catholic. I'm a Prostestant and my church has many misssionaries both in other countries and to the Native Americans in the Dakotas. What many people fail to remember is that the first Christians were Jewish and Jesus the Son of God was born into the Jewish people. For about the first 30 years the church was entirely Jewish until Saul of Tarsus renamed Paul began teaching to the Gentiles. This small group of people who recognized Jesus as the Son of God preached his message though the World and the Church grew until now Christianity is the greatest religion in the World. This small group of people who first made up the Christian Church did all this without cutting off anyone's head or putting a sword though them. It was done just by teaching the message of the Gospel that Jesus is the son of God and he came to us to be our sacifice and save us from our sins. All we have to do to gain eternal life is believe on him. And part of the Message was/is that God loves us. Does it say anywhere in the Koran that Allah loves us, just loves us and we don't have to do anything for that love but just believe in Jesus and confess our sins and we are children of God?

If you are not against Israel then what is your problem with this show of support? It seems to me that you are saying Christians are better off under Arab muslim control! (Dhimmi?)? Really? You liked being occupied by Jordan and Egypt better? You need to ask why there are refugee camps and why didn't the rich Arab states that "support" the "Palistinian " cause didnt do something about them. You need to ask why did Arafat have $30 Billion in HIS bank account when that would have been more than sufficient to rid the country of these camps and uplift the people. Ask why Arafat's Christian wife lives so high while others live in squaller. For the life of me, I don't understand why you hate Israeli occupation when the Israeli's withdrew totally forom Gaza and were planning to do the same. Isn't that what you want? The Palenstinians weren't put in those camps by the Israeli people. Arabs put them there and they are the ones who are keeping them there. To address Dave from Canada...I just watched an interview with John Hagee and he isn't trying to convert the Jewish people. He just believes, as do all true Christians, that by blessing Israel we will be blessed ourselves.
