I think what is motivating you is the fact that the vast vast majority of terrorists acting in the name of religion today are Muslims acting in the name of Islam. If Mr. Weisgan was motivated to intentionally kill non-combatants out of religious conviction, it is okay to label him a Jewish terrorist. On the other hand, that a news piece should refer to "this heinous act" by Mr. Weisgan instead of just providing the facts speaks volumes about the writer's absolute lack of journalistic integrity. I wonder if he has ever dared to label any of the thousands upon thousands of daily Arab terror acts the same way in what is supposed to be a news story.

I think it was right to specify that he was a "Jewish" terrorist. I guess you have to be living in Israel to understand it. There is a belief among Israeli Jews that only an Arab can be a terrorist. No matter how despicable an act by a Jew is, he/she can't be a terrorist. Emphasizing that he is Jew goes to show that Jews too can be cold blooded terrorists. To show that the law does not discriminate they should have demolished his house as well.
