fund the, "Hate the Jews Video's" ,in the Palestinian schools. Other than that....the terrorists still don't have to get a job and feed their kids. Ohmert does that for them! Good job Ohmert!!! Three cheers!

What an Idiot !
9. to #1, 93% of israeli want him out.
jay ,   Israel   (12.24.06)
Olmert got voted in only because of Sharons legacy. If Israeli citizens knew his agenda, no way would he have been elected. This fool thinks giving abu holocoust denier mazen 100 million is going to result in peace. What a shmuck. Everyone knows abass wants Israel destroyed as much as hamass does. This appeasing shmuck Olmert has to go, and the sooner the better.
10. Some deal
Preston ,   USA   (12.24.06)
And Israel got what in exchange? Maybe Olmert got to keep the little Palestinian flag they used as a table decoration. That's worth $100 million, at least!
11. #9 Jay - Olmert doesn't know his agenda
Umm El Kul Naqba   (12.24.06)
Jay, Olmert does not know his own agenda. He is inconsistent. He send the wrong messages. He has undermined the IDF, national security, and the residents of Sderot and the surroundings. Right now Olmert has slight less chances of being the next Israeli PM in the next elections than Ahmadenejad. Sharon's protigee does not come close to living up to the standard of his master. Just like the Intifada in 2000 where PALs were directly responsible for putting Sharon in the PM chair, the next election will move dramatically to the right and put Olmert in the back of the unemployment line.
12. Foolishness
Mike ,   USA   (12.24.06)
I look at the world and the persecution of Israel, especially from the likes of two face Abbas and his intafahda group and Al Aqsa Brigades, and Ehud and Condi Rice play nicey nice with this liar like he will do anything in return for the favors he is extended. The description of an idiot is the person who tries to solve the problem over and over again with the same solution and continue to fail, and then keeps on using the same solution. This makes Olmert an _________!!!
13. The three stoogies strike again
Shimmon ,   Tzfat Israel   (12.24.06)
I don't know whats harder to believe the fact that at every oppertunity Olmert and the crew make Israel weaker. Or the stupidity of the people for not throwing these bums out. The cease fire worked well with the little metal exploding Doves of peace falling every day.Whats next freeing all the Murders from prison give them $ and guns hold hands and sing kumbayh or something
14. Olmert and Abbas are the world's best chance for peace
Columbia Student ,   NYC, USA   (12.25.06)
The reason there continues to be attacks is because there is no government in charge in Palestine. Why is there no government? Because there is no economy. There are no jobs. No opportunities. No investment in the basics, let alone higher education. So you have a large number of boys and men with nothing positive to do, and plenty of opportunities to fight. And whether its right or not they've been told by opportunistic (militant) mullahs to blame Israel for that. Anyone who thinks that war or sanctions are going to end this is extremely naive. The militant mullahs who instigate violence between Palestine and Israel wouldn't have anyone to fight for them if Palestine had a strong economy and hence, a stable and strong government. The Palestinians wouldn't be resentful of their situation. The only hope that any of us, including the US, Israel, and Palestine, have of this situation not spiraling out of control is if the educational and economic systems in Palestine are drastically improved. This will undoubtedly require foreign aid, while keeping groups, such as hamas at bay. As for fatah vs hamas, you always take the best of the two. Of course Abbas isn't perfect in the eyes of Israelis but you must remember he's already getting protested against for being weak against Israel (as is Olmert). The Israelis want to oust Olmert because he's too soft on Palestine, and the same goes for Abbas. If they are both replaced by war hawks, the situation will undoubtedly get worse perhaps drawing in other countries. These two men are the best opportunity we have for peace. Although many may question if the Palestinians deserve the aid, it is the only way that peace will be possible. A Palestine in poverty, without jobs, will always be a source of violence. We all know that there is an extremely strong correlation between poverty and violence. And that countries, such as the US, have a strong democracy because of thriving economy. Something that currently does not exist in Palestine or Iraq.
