I ONLY WISH THE STATE OF ISRAEL (THE PEOPLE) COULD SEE THAT AND ELECT THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM, ONCE AND FOR ALL. LAND FOR PEACE WILL NEVER WORK, ASK EUROPE ABOUT WWII! I ASK THAT ISRAEL FORGIVE MY COUNTRY'S IGNORANCE BY ATTEMPTING TO DEAL W/ THE PA'S AND TELLING ISRAEL WHAT IT MUST DO. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE BUSH, SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP AND QUIT ATTEMPTING TO PART THE LAND THAT THE G-D OF ABRAHAM PROMISED TO HIS PEOPLE! MAY G-D HAVE MERCY ON THE USA FOR IT'S DEFIANCE OF "HIS" WISHES!

I realized within a few weeks of George W. Bush's first term of office that he was no friend of Israel's. After all the scoldings and condemnations he leveled toward Israel defending herself after each and every bloody Arab suicide bombing atrocity, I realized this man was not a Christian in the sense I understand how a Christian would or should relate to Israel. Then there was the September 11, 2001 Saudi-sponsored terrorist atrocities --- fifteen of the nineteen hijackers were Saudi nationals ---- on U. S. soil and only days later Bush unveiled his vision of Palestinian terrorist state in the Holy Land. I wondered, "what gives?" Why is he so zealous to destroy tiny Israel? So I began reading books like former CIA operative's book "Sleeping with the Devil," and Dore Gold's "Hatred's Kingdom," and Gerald Posner's "Secrets of the Kingdom," and Craig Unger's "House of Bush House of Saud." Come to find out the Bushes, the James Bakers, Colin Powells, Condolezza Rices, etc., are heavily invested in oil and much indebted to the Saudi Wahhabis who are Israel's inveterate enemies. Bush family has amassed great wealth from their Saudi friends. George W. Bush himself owes his fortune in large part to Saudi Wahhabi Muslims. In other words Mr. Bush is doing the bidding of his Saudi friends as Mr. Olmert is doing Bush's bidding. It's a pretty sordid affair.

Can anyone look at the ME today and say with a straight face that a two state solution is around the corner? That is pure drivel and was not said with any serious intent. Until there is a 'sea change' in Arab attitude and behavior, there will be no serious consideration of it. Much a-do about empty hot air.

Whatever Israel decides in negotiating the two-state solution, this is probably the last opportunity to set things right for a stronger and safer Israel. This will be the time to set conditions and make demands. All the items that affect Israel's security should be on the table for discussion, including the very important one of Israeli Arabs. This should not be the time to make decisions based on whether they please the rest of the world or not. Israel must think of its children. Unfortunately, the present government appears unfocused, shortsighted, and always bowing to the Americans. Not the best leaders to think things through.

Daniel, I believe Israel providing weapons to terrorist nations is clearly wrong and should be condemned. That having been said, the U.S. has urged Israel to provide weapons to terror nations the administration considers more of a threat than another terror nation. Reagan administration with Iran during the Iran-Iraq war for instance. To me this is immoral on Israel's part and on America's part. Do we agree? But to say that Israel is America's enemy is a bit of a stretch I think. It's more probably the other way around, don't you think? America can do much damage to tiny Israel far more I think than Israel will do to America of whom she is so utterly dependent unfortunately.

Even if Hamas and Jihad disappear and Fatah 'strengthened' the Palestinean Arabs are utterly incapable of unifying and ruling themselves. They can do absolutely nothing to organize and cater for themselves. No matter what US, EU, Israel and others do or don't do the only notion that unifies and activates Palestinean Arabs is senseless violence against Israelis and Jews abroad or against each other.

Creating two states in Palestine/Israel is time wasting. It will never lead to peace. The only way to reach peace is to create one democratic state with equal rights for all, regardless of their religion.

do it now instead of 30 years later with several extra wars . one states woth equal right and forget about the bush plan ..not practical .. the wall(MR Sharon clever idea ) had put extra 260,000 palestinians inside the green line ...they will be a million in 10 years .. those outside the wall but their lands are inside are potential suiside bombers ..they will never let you sleep with your shoes off . Bush plan will never bring peace ,only the arab summit one would . good luck .one state for all .treated equally is even better and forget about demography and your Paranoia.

During this summer's war America stood alone against the entire word and put its diplomatic reputation on the line in order to give Israel time to destroy Hezbullah. in return Israel made America look foolish by losing the war and killing more innocents than terrorists to boot. Oh, and guess who is going to have to take away badly needed mony from its military budget to replace Israel's munitions. That's the way it's been happening ever since Regan cam to power. America has been playing a political double-game trying to provide Israel with cover to defend itself, and Israel has been biting the hand that is feeding it. Apperently it's because when the U.S. says it wants to help the Palestinians Israel, which thinks it's still dealing with Carter, takes it seriously. What does Israel want? America can't go out and say "We want Israel to annex the territories and kick the Palestinians out, bcause then it will lose its political power. But that doesn't mean that America wouldn't love for Israel to do that. The same goes for attacking Syria. Don't blame America for Israel's stupidity.

With Olmert and the Gang of Three - Livni, Peres and Peretz, there may be no Israel in 2 years. I weep for you, oh Israel for the choice that you have made in selecting Olmert!

when i see whats happening in the land if israel,im more convinced that unseen powers are at work to destroy israel.
