1. Snow in Yerushalaim
Infrequent Visitor ,   Washington, DC   (12.28.06)
In was interesting and refreshing to see this story on YNet. I wish someone would had posted pictures of familiar sites with snow on them. Does anyone have pictures to share of the Kotel, Old City sites, the Temple Mount, Yad Vashem, al Aqsa, Kidron - anywhere familiar to just a tourist with a rare covering of snow. Please email them to me. Thank You!

3. "Y"?????????
Debbie ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.28.06)
Ynet needs to look deep inside and ask itself why it is so obsessed with xmas...a pagan, gentile celebration which I gave up willingly and happily as a righteous gentile almost thirty years ago. One of the reasons I live in Israel is so I don't have to be bombarded with it everywhere I look. Except this week I've been bombarded with articles about it here on Ynet........"Y"????? For those who just don't get it...it is a violation of G-d's laws. Read your prophets. If that doesn't concern you then have a ball, celebrate now 'cause that's all you're gonna get. No Olam Haba for you. You've traded gold for glass. Bad deal. Squandered your free choice. Wow!
4. Look at that old man in the photo, He smiles :)

I think He is religious Jew. NATURE is something like medicine. I wish The God sends BIG BIG SNOWS to Middle East for long time. and no one fights anymore. NATURE IS SOMETHING BEAUTIFULL. I like Alaska, how would be nice to live there 2 months for every year. You know, little mountain house, drinking your hot coffee, you can dream anything you want. but you got to live there alone. than we understand what a beautifull feeling is to share friendship with others. Here is the question !!! WHAT DO YOU DREAM TO HAVE ? Atilla Karagözoğlu Istanbul atilla_karagozoglu@yahoo.com

A great many visitors to this website and other Israeli news websites are Christian supporters of Israel. I don't really see the problem in marketing your product to consumers of your product. Most other Israeli sites have Christian editions. Let's take it easy a little, huh?

Tipical mentality of "western Jews".Living in US for many years,I met many people like you ,who jumps from hot to cold .You should look what good you did "ba olam athe" that you, peronally ,deserve "a olam aba".Look at the Ten Commandments again and again...
8. #3 - Lighten up.....Christmas isn't evil....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (12.29.06)
as a Jew living in the US I enjoyed the lights and the decorations. Get a grip and a life.

10. It's snowing!!!

To the best of my recollection..snow has no religious or political agenda. It's beautiful and a creation of HaShem, and in my opinion one of His best efforts. Enjoy it!
11. Nice to See & to #3
Darren ,   Tampa, FL USA   (01.01.07)
Beautiful snowfall...don't get to see much of it anymore since I left West Virginia and moved to sunny south Florida. It was nice to see the video. To #3 Gee Christmas was ONLY mentioned in the title...don't get your "righteous gentile" panties in a wad. Happy Hannukah to all my Jewish friends from a non-"pagan" worshipper of the Son of God and Jewish Messiah Jesus Christ! :)
12. A little tolerance wouldn't hurt, at all.
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (01.02.07)
My grandkids learned of the meaning of Hannukah years ago, when they spent the night at a friend's house and were allowed to participate in the lighting of the candles; something that made them feel very honored. Of course, their explanation that Christmas trees are for presents, because they'd look stupid just lying around in the middle of the living room floor wasn't too enlightening, but that's another subject. Nevertheless, they were no more "damaged" by lighting a candle to celebrate a Jewish holiday than their friend was harmed by finding a couple of toys under that Mardi Gras concoction called "Christmas tree." These kids, I'm proud to say, have celebrated each other's milestones for years now, Bat Mitzvahs, Confirmations and weddings included, and hopefully, they will continue to do so. Tolerance and respect are not one-way streets, whether one is Jewish, Christian or neither. I don't think any of it is contagious.
