South East Asia incl. Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia & Singapore were the crossroads for spice and silk trade in the early centuries between China and Middle East & Europe. Along with trade, religion were also introduced to that region. The Thais were the indigenous ppl. and Thailand is the only country not been colonised by the West.
