1. ?? and this guys wants peace??
713 ,   Seattle US   (01.02.07)
I totally agree with taking Iran out, but I can't believe what this guy said: "Any connection between the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Iranian issue is a pretext used by some of the most anti-Semitic elements the world has known since the Nazi ideology and the Holocaust," Lieberman wrote in the letter. You know, anyone who is intelligent would realize that someone who thinks that is NOT racists. Iran made it clear that your conflict is an issue. #1 step to solving the Iran issue, is to take away it's power. Right now Iran is getting it's power by backing the PA's. Solve that issue, and no more power... duh... that's not racist, that is intelligence. Seriously Isrealites, if no wonder you face destruction, when this leaders isn't thinking in a way that will solve the issue. He would rather say the world is racists, then to accually solve the problem. Not everyone who doesn't agree with you, is doing that based off of your religion. NO NO NO NO. I totally love Judisim, but I don't agree with everything every Jew says.. but the same goes for Christians, Muslims... well accually the same goes for every person in the world..I am not prejudice which is why I listen to what people say and do.

Time in and time out you say that everything will be better if Israel just solves the PA problem. They do not want peace as the Israelis' do. Arafat could have had Peace at the Rose Garden with Clinton, but refused the deal because that would have been final, and Israel would have the right to destroy the PA if it continued it's guerilla military fight for the whole region of Transjordan and Gaza Egypt. Peace will not happen with the PLO(Fatah) or Hamas with their present frame of mind. Solving the problem would be to jump willingly into the Mediteranian or live as Dimmi's under the Arabs. Arabs come from Arabia, which is now called Saudi Arabia. Mohammed started his quest for war in Medina just outside of Mecca. Why Medina, because he could not convert the peole in Mecca to follow his new prophecy that he was preaching in a peaceful manner. So in Medina, he changed the prophecy to raise an Army, and capture the valuble city of Mecca. Ever since, the Arabs have conquered 22 countries by force by commiting genocide or conversion by the SWORD. This is that same mentality, and it won't change. Thats what the Isamic Courts are trying to do in the horn of Africa right now, Genocide. Have fun with your liberal delusions 713.

what does peace now, have to do with wars from the past. See I agree with the fact that we always need to remeber the past, but I extend that to also say, we shouldn't let the past stop the present from achieving it's objectives. So to have peace in the now, we need to stop blaming the past. If you do not, you will know no peace. Also, PA's peace isn't something that you can snap your fingers and make happen. That is not what I am asking. Furthermore, everything is based off of cause and effect. Which means you CAN do something today, which will effect tomorrow and create peace. Listen to Olmert, this restraint policy, may be hard to live with now, but in 10 years you will love the peace that it will bring.

Let's get ISRAEL and the US out ASAP. We American tax payers should not have to support this inhuman, anarchistic, terrorist oriented political organization a minute longer, and Israel doesn't need to waste it's breath, or precious resources, on this wacko, tyranical organization. I still say Olmert would be the ideal Secretary General (Sharon coming in as a close second), though.

Your comments would have merit if the Arabs really want peace. But do they ? RE Olmert : He is the worst . His Kadima party is a left wing nightmare . Lieberman has some good ideas.
13. Another case of flatulence
John ,   USA   (01.03.07)
It makes good copy in the Israeli papers, but you know as well as I do that the world regards this guy as poorly as they do Iran. Right, Iran makes bellicose statements regarding Israel, and resists world attempts at controlling it's nuclear program, but the world sees Lieberman's statements as a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
14. lieberman

lieberman to U.N. president,bravo!!!!
15. How stupid does this have to get?
Zvi ,   USA   (01.03.07)
The UN is more or less continuously hostile toward Israel. The UN is not hostile toward Iran. There is zero value in asking the UN to kick out Iran. Russia and China will simply block such a move, and the result will more likely than not be a concerted effort by Muslim states to kick Israel out instead, on whatever pretext they can contrive. Does Israel REALLY need another low-level irritant to manage at the UN? Does Lieberman REALLY need to be tutored in the reality of the UN? Who authorized such a proposal? Or is this an example of Lieberman being "strategic"? I would have expected idiocy of this kind from Peretz.

The extreemist of the Arab's don't want peace, but that is a case of extreemist, not Arab's. There are moderate Arab's who want peace. I've seen all religions go through this cycle of extreemism. To have peace, we have to give the extreemists of the Arab's room to grow, which means you have to keep it in your mind that they might want peace. If in your mind you don't give them room, to grow into a peacefull person, then they won't grow into a peacefull person. You can control the actions of someone else, by how you think about them. If you only allow room, in your mind, for them to be violent, then they will be violent. If you only allow room, in your mind, for them to be peacefull, then they will be peacefull. God is in us, and that makes us project our will upon the world. We have to be wary about what we think about...

Jay ,   Israel   (01.03.07)
You have no idea whats going on here in Israel and no clue as to how the arab mind thinks. They dont want peace and have been given plenty of room in the past to try it. Palastine exists today for only one reason, and thats to cause Israels destruction. Peace does not come into their equation to achieve their goal. Force is the only thing arabs will respect and Israel needs to stop giving terrorists concessions and hit them hard.

you need to try to organize your thoughts a little better, and try to think logically. you sound like a thirdgrader because your ideas are so naive, and you cant construct a coherent argument.

23. Lieberman - expel Iran
Oprager ,   Israel   (01.03.07)
The idea of Lieberman is good but impossible to achieve. I have always wondered why the USA spends so much money in continuing to be a member of the UN. They get nothing positive out of it - only aggravation. Anything the US suggests is promptly shot down by France, Russia and China. So - leave the UN, start another "New UN" with only partners who have the same viewpoint, ie UK, Poland, Romania, Israel and some South American States that play along with the US. Give no more aid to Egypt, Israel, S.Arabia, and all the Arabs - can you imagine what that would do to the American balance of payment ? The Dollar would be the strongest currency in the world ! And as for crude oil - there is enough in the American influenced area and they will not ever need arabian oil. And since countries cannot drink oil the US would only buy from those who go along with US policies and thoughts on freedom and democracy.

Israel should also be expelled for ignoring or not abiding to U.N. resolutions.
26. #25....are they fair?
DR ,   Florida, USA   (01.03.07)
In your mind, is the UN fair with regards to Israel? If you say yes, then you are misinformed at best. Everyone with a brain knows that the UN and its Muslim constituants are very biased towrds Israel and that is why the US almost always vetos these resolutions. Israel has never threatened another country and has never attacked another country for no reason. People like you need to open your eyes and be fair. Don't buy into the Arab propoganda so easliy.
27. CLOSE UN

hahaha, could it be the listener who is flawed?? If my words were understood my a third grader, that would be massively impressive. Because you who are way older then a third grader, and can't comprehend anything I say. You see your older guru's would understand what I say, and agree with me. Don't be so closed minded :)
