1. When the middle east is flattened, land will be cheap
Zico ,   Brazil   (01.05.07)
Cool!! when the whole middle east is flattened by nuclear bombs, I want to buy lands in Israel, Egypt and Iran at knock out price. At least, my future grandchildren who will be owning the land once the radioactive is gone will thank israel for starting it all.
2. Israel Suffers Denial,Delusion
Marcel ,   Florida   (01.05.07)
It will most likely take a serious Islamic terror attack against Tel Aviv to awaken to remaining blind and dumb fools who rule Israel to ruin. Egeypt has all their weapons aimed at Israel and no where else.
3. Zico
Jellybean ,   Chicago   (01.05.07)
I can agree with the land being cheap, but it will be Iran launching not Israel mark my words!
4. #1 OR, vice versa

5. olmert praising mubarek
yosi ,   montreal   (01.05.07)
its like mubarek urinating on Isreal while Olmert thanks him for sending the rain in his direction & will apoligize for the acidity & color assuming responsibility by apoligizing
6. Murphy's Law
eh-oop ,   UK   (01.05.07)
Whoever's the target of Mubarak's remarks, it's obvious that neither he nor Larijani would say what they're saying unless quite close to achieving nuclear armed status, in some form, or already there. In the December before the attack on Iraq, the Australian press reported the removal of Iraq's WMD to Syria, Libya and Egypt. Documents found since confirm that Iraq had an active nuclear weapons programme after 1991. Later, it turned out that Russian forces had handled the operation. The result? Just 500 or so mustard gas shells found in Iraq, politicians and civil servants embroidering the truth and virtually complete public disbelief that the attack had had any foundation in good faith. Two years ago, the then British Foreign secretary pretended to the world that he, and France and Germany, would get Iran's nuclear programme under proper supervision, if we'd only give diplomacy one chance after another. No prizes for guessing which single, relatively decent politician is responsible for both instances of unwelcome nuclear proliferation. Who persuaded George W to keep going back to the UN? Who promoted Jack Straw beyond his level of competence?
7. Zico Brazil
Romano ,   Italy   (01.05.07)
Zico, you spelt your name incorrectly I should have been Sicko from Brazil, you sick person
8. Zico
Ryan ,   Calgary, Canada   (01.05.07)
I'll tell my grandchildren to lay a historical claim to the land, and use guerilla tactics, to achieve there goals, while we lobby the international community for support and release biased news reports and images to the masses.
9. olmert: always surprised, confused, inept:
dante ,   uk   (01.05.07)
olmert is danger to Israel. his complacent stupidity and ineptitude would be laughable if they were not so dangerous.
10. Dr STRANGELOVE IS ALIVE AND WELL!!
(01.05.07)
11. land in the Middle East
David Prichard ,   Hardeeville, USA   (01.05.07)
On the contrary -- Despite all the saber-rattling, the more international attention focuses on Israel and peace-keeping, the more valuable (in general) the land is going to become both in Israel and probably in her neighbors, Jordan and Egypt, as well. That's what it looks like to me, anyway. And that's what the prophets indicate. In the coming years, everyone is going to want a piece of Israel. The armies, weapons, rulers, and wealth of the nations will begin to accumulate and focus in that little center of the world!
12. 9. olmert: always surprised, confused, inept:
HEY DANTE ,   ..............DACON9   (01.05.07)
olmert is danger to Israel. his complacent stupidity and ineptitude would be laughable if they were not so dangerous.... ONLY ONE ERROR.. OLMERT IS NOT COMPLACENT. HE IS A METICULOUS DREESER. I LOVE THE SUITS HE WEARS..... TAILORED VERY WELL
13. Remarks directed at Iran
Ehud Olmert ,   Kuwait City   (01.05.07)
Of course they are. That's why I had the Arabs finance my new villa on Via De Saddam here in beautiful downtown Kuwait City - so I can be closer to the action. Allah be praised.
14. zico
Dee ,   usa   (01.05.07)
Iran will not have nuclear weapons, because Israel when never let them have it.
15. Give me a break already
Zico ,   Brazil   (01.06.07)
Look I'm a 50 old virgin with no life. I live in brazil for heavens sake and I can't even get a girl. When I visited Israel I couldn't get a girl. Hell even when I went to Egypt and tried to buy a wife it did not work. Look I'm a pent up frustrated loser so please people give me a break.
16. TO RYAN. ISRAEL DOESNT NEED ANYONE TO LEGITIMIZE THEM.
Jake ,   New York, US of A   (01.06.07)
It happens to be that no one (even your average bonehead canadian) disagrees that the Jews have the ONLY historical right to the land of Israel. They ruled the land and were driven from it 2000 years ago. No other nation that settled the land before or immediatly after them are around anymore. Palestinians are the black sheep of the Arab world. Did you ever wonder why nobody will ever agree to take in Palestinian refugees? Any regime claiming to be avenging the Palestinians by condemning Israel is only preparing to backstab them once their barbaric dreams of death and destruction are fulfilled. The fake religion of Islam whos members were wondering why their imaginary prophet hasnt returned now have a reason to continue killing. Israel is the beacon of civilization that the Middle East has needed for the past 1500 years.
17. Olmert is Surprised
David ,   Boston   (01.06.07)
Olmert could have read in the papers all over the world in the past several months that Egypt plans to develop a nuclear deterance if Iran is allowed to do so. Only a completely incompetent leader could have been surprised. Doesn't he have briefings from Mossad or someone else in Israel who reads newspapers? If he If he believes the bombs will be aimed at Iran and not at Israel he is going to be surprised again. To prevent any further surprises he should resign and apologize to everyone since that’s the only thing he does well.
18. ISRAEL THE BLIND!!!!!!!!!!
ROBERT ,   FARMINGTON   (01.06.07)
ISRAEL GOVERNAMENT IS LACKING IN SIGHT OR JUST BLIND,DO THEY REALLY BELIEVE THIS, ITS ALMOST AS BAD AS IRAN SAYING THEY WANT NUCLEAR POWER FOR ENERGY, WHATS NEXT SYRIA WANTING IT FOR CAMEL SH*& BURNING, !!!!!!!!!! IT'S NOT FUNNY ANYMORE IT'S SAD.
19. ZICO
v. n.y. ,   usa   (01.06.07)
don't be too sure iran will have these weapons. do you remember israel's mission that destroyed iraq's nuclear site? americans already used a preemptive strike with the atomic bomb on hiroshima and nagasaki, saving millions of lives in the process in ww2. i can guarantee you it will not stand idly by and babaysit iran while they develop their nuclear bomb. remember that the usa is, was and will always be on israel's side..... israel is their dxemocratic stability in the middle east. should anything happen, the preemptive strike will come from the west aided by israel, and the iranians won't know what hit them. about the iranian superb military capabilities and the "elite military force" which trains extremists all over the middle east, i won't worry too much about their power or capabilities. remember sadaam's national guard.....the usa was worried about them as well and the worry fizzled the minute usa troops realized that all those rats waving white flags were actually this very fearsome elite military guards that was to give the us troops the "mother of all battles". i don't know if you know this, but arabs in general as well as persians are full of hot air. when it comes to military warfare, they'd rather hide and wait the war out than participate. the extremists are another story all together. they don't mind dying since most are comprised of mentally defected people haniyeh and hizbullah pick off the streets and recruit. however, the real military of these arab countries and iran's military is still nothing compared to the idf and the usa soldiers, not to mention both's much more sophisticated weaponry.
20. Iran is the red herring
Bernard Ross ,   St. Anns Bay Jamaica   (01.06.07)
Egypt directs remarks at Iran so as to avoid western interference with their nuclear program which cannot be hidden. The fact is that official anti-semitism in Egypt is so great that one must come to believe that Egypt still seeks the destruction of Israel and the Jews. They made peace so as to get the uS billions in aid to rebuild their military. Nukes purported for Iran can easily land in Israel. Olert is a bumbling fool but the Israeli public is more bumbling for mainting his incompetence.
21. The Middle East Won't be Safe....
Abdullah ,   Kuwait City, Kuwait   (01.06.07)
With any nation in it owning WMDs whether its Israel, Egypt or Israel! Either all stay out or they all get it and end life when its under the control of the wrong hands! When it comes to owning and using WMDs, I simply do not trust anyone!
22. #19 GOOD TALK
(01.06.07)
23. Correction to post 21
Abdullah ,   Kuwait City, Kuwait   (01.06.07)
I meant to say whether its Israel, Egypt or Iran!
24. Egypt Nuclear
Rad ,   Germany   (01.06.07)
Even if they did build one, Egyptians are too much a pragmatic to bomb Israel with it. Notice Sadat & Mubarak did. Of course there are fanatics inside Egypt & Israel who want to change this. Probably the best way to call the Egyptians now is Macchiavellian & by that I mean it as a flattery.
25. To Zico-the Cinico
dd   (01.06.07)
Hey, Zic, you are a sympathetic fool, but don't hurry with buying out. Hold your horses ! First and foremost, no one's going to allow a nuclear holocaust in the M.East. The Iranians know that much. You in carnival Rio and beautiful Brasil should know it, too. You, yourself said you are in bad need of women. So, go for them. Brasil is full of gorgeous broads ! Don't mess with politics, especially far away ones.
26. Egypt Is On The Same, Short Economic Chain As Israel
David ,   Marietta USA   (01.06.07)
The US never fails to pull that chain by "urging restraint" on Israel during wars.Egypt is, and has been, the second largest recipient of American economic aid since Camp David, to the tune of $3Billion a year, annually. (I wish I knew where that money goes...) Egypt might dream of going nuclear, it ain't gonna happen. No how, no way. Sorry Zico. If you want to buy land, threaten to build a Brazilian nuclear bomb. We will pay you not to, and you will be able to buy all the land you want, anywhere.
27. #19
Zico ,   Brazil   (01.06.07)
yeah yeah, the arabs and terrorists got their asses kicked in Iraq and yet it is the ass kickers who are begging not to stay any longer in Iraq. Now tell me who's losing and who's winning. Any modern military forces can inflict damage to other countries. Unfortunately, the chain reaction that is going to happen have been known to bring the agressors to their knees. Read more about the ottoman, mongols, hitler, etc. Dont blame me for wanting to buy land once middle east is flattened. At least i dont steal or invade other people's land.
28. Iran
Panopoulos ,   Athens, Greece   (01.06.07)
I will send the in Greeks to take care of the Persians. After Alexander, we have been their greatest nightmare.
29. A WINK OF APFROM EGYPT TO LEVEL IRANIAN NUCLEAR CAPABILITIES
(01.07.07)
30. THE EGYPTIAN WINK OF APPROVAL TO TAKE OUT IRANIAN NUKES
DAVID ,   USA   (01.07.07)
EGYPT WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ITS OWN NUKES, PROBABLY ALREADY WORKING ON IT, BUT THIS WAS A WINK OR A FORMAL NOD TO ISRAEL TO GO AHEAD, WE WON'T PROTEST, OTHER THEN THE TYPICAL CONDEMNATIONS, EGYPT WOULD SHOW GREAT APATHY IF IRAN'S NUCLEAR AMBITIONS WERE SIDELINED
