Negotiations to free Shalit are a waste of time. The right strategy is to begin arresting Hamas & Fatah political leaders including Haniyah. No negotiations & no prisoner release - let the Palestinian leaders rot in prison until Shalit is released. And I'm sure we could think of other means to apply pressure & keep increasing the pressure. This is all a sham - Hamas knows where Shalit is & so does Abbas & we are being taken for suckers.

The prisoners held by Israel are TERRORISTS and MURDERERS, like the uber-bitch, Amuna Mona who cold-bloodedly plotted and lured a 16-year-old Israeli boy to his death. Releasing them will not only give them the opportunity to KILL and KILL again, but will guarantee MORE KIDNAPPINGS now that hostage taking is proven to be an effective method of getting what you want. The fact that Hamas has refused to give any proof of life and has not allowed Red Cross access to visit the hostage ACCORDING THE INTERNATIONAL LAW THEY WHINE SO MUCH ABOUT, makes me believe that Shalit may already be dead.

If Israel signs the deal now it means it will have to let free all the tens of Palestinian Hamas Ministers and MPs it kidnapped following the capture of Gilad. This will surely not be good news for Mr Abas and Dahlan. Therefore, unfortunately, Gilad and his Family must endure more of this "unnecessary waiting even if this means putting Gilad's life in danger" until the time is right for Abbas and Dahlan!

It's been done in the past and there's no reason why it shouldn't be done now. I dare anyone who has a son in the army to keep insisting Israel shouldn't release prisoners for Gilad. He's been prisoner long enough. He's only a kid for G-d's sake! Have a heart! Do anything to release him. Let's give him a chance to start living again. If they really cared about their prisoners as much as we do, they would gladly return one, prisoner in exchange for one prisoner, isn’t the fact that we traditionally do everything possible to get our boys back, and they don’t, proof enough? Is one Israeli soldier really worth 1000 Palestinians? (In the eyes of the Palestinians?) They, themselves make the world think little of them, they should say, that every life has the same value… but they don’t, they are outright stating the obvious, Israelis are worth more than Palestinians, actually in a 1 to 1000 ratio… What do you think about that?
