61. #57, Hillarious? This from someone who calls himself God :-)
Beth Landau ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.14.07)
I do not know what is more ridiculous, the fact all your facts are wrong and can easily be disproved. Or the fact that someone calling himself GOD chooses to use the most vulgar language when describing a Jewish lady. As for your claim that the lady stoned Arab children, that was never actually proven. Had it, she would be sitting in jail now, wouldn't she? There was no basis to charge her with any crime. The fact of the matter is, leftist groups openly incite the Arabs against Israeli security forces and civilians. Their actions are overtly provocative, attempting to draw both Israeli adults, children and soldiers into violent situations, which they then selectively film, for use by media and internet. Of course, the films are professionally edited, so as to leave out segments which they clearly are not interested in being witnessed by the public at large. So too, with the "Alkobi video:" the events leading up to public version can be left up to your imagination. And a little something that perhaps people are unaware of: on the eve of Rosh HaShana, Tel Rumeida came under attack. Terrorists shot from those hills into Tel Rumeida for two years. All the homes were hit by Arab gunfire. The homes are all full of bullet holes. One Friday afternoon, when the Alkobi's firstborn daughter Tziporah was playing outside, a terrorist lined her up in his rifle scope and fired. The bullet missed Tziporah's head by a few centimeters. So while I do not support Alkobi's behavior, as a majority of Hebron's Jews do not, I can certainly understand why she is so suspicious of those who wish her family harm.
62. Elokim #49
Patricia ,   Waipahu, Hawaii, USA   (01.15.07)
Aloha Elokim, have you spent time or lived here in the Islands. It is refreshing after reading all these hate filled posts to meet another person with humanity and rationality. I hope you will return, Hawaii is such a lovely place.
63. Poor Beth...#61..stuck in denial
Elokim ,   Israel   (01.15.07)
You say you don't know what's more ridiculous about my comments. Reality is something you should try and experience!! Your ego is so full of hate for "others" that you can not see the contempt in your eyes. As for the truthful title that this rabid "religious" jewish woman gave to her Self by the language used to call others, if you find it "vulgar" then maybe you should talk to her about the use of such language!! She is not a "lady" by any means of the word!! If she was a true jewish religious woman or "lady" the way in which conducts her Self would be a lot different!! So when she is accused of this crime against the arab boy then what will you have to say...she was wrongfully accused or judged improperly? Think as you wish, if settlers did not forcefully place them Selves in an area that is not part of Israel (only controlled). The people in this area are NOT CITIZENS OF ISRAEL, so what rights do they have provoking the "other" people who live there. AGAIN IT'S NOT ISRAEL!!! If her family did NOT SETTLE there then none of what you said would have happened. The parents cause this situation of their home being " full of bullet holes" and their "firstborn daughter Tziporah was playing outside, a terrorist lined her up in his rifle scope and fired. The bullet missed Tziporah's head by a few centimeters". The fact that you "do not support Alkobi's behavior", and state "a majority of Hebron's Jews do not, I can certainly understand why she is so suspicious of those who wish her family harm". This kind of behavior will bring these kind of situations to your family. Thus, "The wild dog with a scarf on it's head in the first video needs to be take out back and put down!!" You think my facts wrong and can easily be disproved. If what I say happens, then what can you say to disprove that?
64. video of Hebron "violence"
Joanne Higashi ,   Detroit Michigan USA   (01.16.07)
You wrote "The video shows the family confronting settler children in Tel Rumeida as one of the family's sons, Shrif, tries to get into the house. The boy is seen standing at the entrance gate to the neighborhood, unable to advance towards his house due to a group of settlers." I watched the video twice, looking for the boy and the violence but saw no violence, only heard hysterical comments and the calm responses of the soldier. At what point in the video do we see violence? Around 1:40 we see lots of pavement and hear lots of hysteria, but which scene do you view as violence? Your credibility is on the line....
65. Joanne, This is political spin to take the heat off Olmert
Beth Landau ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.16.07)
As I am sure you know, the Prime minister and defense minister have a real interest in diverting attention away from all their failures and corruption scandals. What better way to accomplish such a diversion then by demonizing Jewish settlers? The thing that never ceases to amaze me is how incidents of Jewish settlers screaming at their Arab neighbors always seem to drive the extreme left out of their minds with hatred and anger, yet we never hear a peep from them when Jews are blown up on buses or shelled with missles in Sderot, go figure!
66. get real
sholom ,   israel   (01.16.07)
while i dont agrea witht the harrasment tactics employed by these children, it actually saddens me, why is this international news? when was the last time an arab throwing stones at a soldier (with the intent to hurt not tho harras) made international news.
67. i cant believe this
sholom ,   israel   (01.16.07)
when rockets are falling on sderot that hardly makes national never mind international news and this video of boys harrasing palistinians makes international news?!
68. It is NOT propaganda but daily settler violence
Ela ,   Jerusalem   (01.16.07)
This is NOT Arab propaganda, but the daily actions of the malicious settlers in Hebron. Those children throwing rocks at the Abu Aysha family and beating up members of that family are taught to hate from a very young age. Are these the kind of values the State of Israel should be promoting? I think not! Israel needs to enforce the law and remove those settlements!!
69. what really happened
jackiekc ,   St, Petersburg, FL   (01.19.07)
I watched the video and saw nothing of a child being endangered, I heard a woman screaming and a soldier trying to calm her down. I saw no stone throwing or beating up. If this is only, as it seems, Arab whining, why make such a fuss?
70. I WAS IN HEVRON LAST WEEK..
Miriram ,   Bet Shean   (01.19.07)
I went to the Machpelah last week( where Abraham, Sarah and others are buried) I aslo spent time walking around the area to see what was really going on. I did it several times. I saw no violence. I did see 2 palestinian boys running around with little hand guns. The jews stay away from the arabs, they live in a completly different area of hevron, all devided by armed soldiers with m16s.So dont belelive eveything you see on the news!
71. Hevron settlers are a disgrace.
Marcell ,   Israel   (01.21.07)
Against my better judgement, I watched the video; I am disgusted by the racist behaviour of the settlers in Hevron. And it starts with the children! The settlers should all be removed, what are they doing there, anyway? The settler presence in Hevron serves no other purpose than an "in-your-face" statement which is totally unnecessary.
72. i agree with #1 the video doesnt show much
miri ,   us   (01.26.07)
all you can hear is an arab going out of her mind and nothing else i dont know why ynet news is so bias as to put such a video up againgst settlers???
73. I dont see any settler violance here. bring more proof here
mrla ,   us   (01.26.07)
Ynet news what the hell are you posting againgst your own people. are you for your faith or a traitor??
74. As an outsider looking in i dont see any violance
john   (01.26.07)
all i see is an hysterical arab rascal trying to make jews look bad.
75. What violence?
michael ,   sydney Australia   (01.27.07)
All i could hear was a hysterical Arab lady. She claimed that her brother was being beaten. Each time she screamed he was being beaten the camera was directed to the floor. If she wanted to prove her case she should have directed the camera to the place of the beating. But she didn't. Most probably because there was no beating rather an attempt to falsely accuse the settlers of violence. The Jews aren't the ones exploding themselves on public buses packed with innocent people including children. today in gaza arabs were killing one another. She should take her camera to gaza and she'd see what real violoence is all about.
76. re: Who is settler on Jewish land.
RonF   (01.28.07)
77. Utter nonsense, what's the fuss !!!
Jonny ,   Israel   (01.28.07)
This video is of a Arab women harassing a soldier, the settlers are standing around peacefully, holding there children. Maybe the Arabs should concentrate on educating their own children against suicide bombings and pure hate. Ynet, do your self a favour and don't post Arab propoganda on your site !!!
80. sad...
wombat ,   kansas city, USA   (01.29.07)
This is what religion does to people. I can only hope that we will one day understand ourselves and accept the world as it really is than to persist in a delusion, no matter how satisfying it may be.
