it is not because of islams clear values and decrees, but because of their husband. If you cannot marry your husband because he is of another religion and he or his family wants you to become muslim, you convert. It is sad that this happens, as these are not honest conversions.

But Islam is the final comprehensive, encompassing religion of God. Islam is a way of life, encompassing all aspects of life. Its not simply remembering God on saturday or sunday. The prophet discussed economics, social justice, politics, seeking knowledge, detailed etiquettes in everything, from eating to sneezing, concrete moral guidelines. B"H Indeed, a lot of non-honest conversions. Also here in the Netherlands. Many converts leave Islam within months, due to lach of sinceriy towards Islam and due to the negative sites it brings. It's so easy to convert. Even some kids of 12 convert :S If I want to become muslim tomorrow (NOT GONNA HAPPEN), it's possible, bit too easy if you ask me. I converted to Islam 3 years ago I I was an aethiest) and two of my frirends ( Christians). My conversion came as a result of deep research and understanding of the values and beliefs. Although most of the muslims around the world are not presenting the right Islam but if you are interested in learning the real Islam then you need to stop listening to the propoganda against Islam. FYI, I have studied Judiasim deeply as I did for Christianity. This was done upon the request of a muslim scholar. He asked me not to convert to Islam before knowing and understanding the other beleifs and I actually did by talking to Jewish scholars. I can see from your comments that you guys don't even accept the idea. This shows one thing: You are not a strong beleiver and you are ignorant. If you want to test your beleif, open your eyes, stop being ignorant and invesitgate and you will reach the truth. I know few converts to Judaism and all of them are complaining that they are treated with disbelief and extreme causion. That they still do not feel themselves part of kehilah. They are also very furious cause people around them in kehilah treat born Jews better (although in many cases they do not even keep kosher or come to temple, the only difference is that they are BORN Jews) then they. I can speak as someone who was open to whichever proved true. There are many Germans who are so ashamed of their past, that they'll try to find anything other than Germanness to identify with. It doesn't really matter what. Many, we are talking probably of hundreds per year, approach the Jewish community and are in general rejected. Islam is probably the next best thing: exotic enough and less demanding than Judaism, besides, one doesn't have to make oneself the target of anti-semitism. Quite a few of these converts though are probably just trying to find a way to become victims, which Muslims are perceived to be at the moment. Others may well find a subliminal confirmation of their own anti-semitism continued in Islamic anti-Zionism, and still being able to disassociate themselves from Germany's past. Why a sudden jump in numbers? Probably because the more educated are now looking at what Islam involves, now they feel they have "dealt with" their anti-semitism (the peak of Philosemitism was in the late 1980's). Life as a Muslim in a country where Islam is the state religion is equally attractive, but only to Muslims. Muslims will enjoy excellent career opportunities, free and fully sponsored overseas education, opportunity to acquire properties and stockmarket shares at discounted rates, assured of excellent carreers in business and politics (in closed negotiated deals with government sponsored businesses and under very heavily 'gerry-mandered' political boundaries - unfair electoral boundaries created to keep a group in power through corrupt means). All these, at the expense of non-Muslims who although may be far better qualified, but are restricted from excelling in their talents and ablities (that may help to enhance the country). They are required to pay for a decent education. They pay more for property, businesses and stockmarket shares and their businesses are barred from the lucrative government sponsored contracts. German converts to Islam are always welcomed (and they should take the opportunity to experience life in these Muslim countries ( in which the the quality of living is not anywhere close the any western nation but nonetheless), where they can enjoy previleges and blessings unheard of in their native country, at the expense of the poor Non-Muslims who are constantly exploited, bullied, suppressed, threatened, heavily taxed, extorted and made to pay for the previleges that they (new converts) and their fellow Muslims can enjoy. Salam and welcome to the country ruled by your fellow believers and enjoy the previleges and blessings of being one of us (at the expense of those kafirs).

These new converts will are welcomed in Muslim countries where they can enjoy previleges they will never experince in their native countries. For starters, they (and their Muslim children) will enjoy free elite school and fully government sponsored overseas education with generous allowances, affording very comfortable living as students. They will be given preference (over non-Muslims) to pursue the tertiary course of their choice. They will be given every opportunity to graduate in flying colors (lecturers will assist even to the extent of predetermining or doctoring their final results.) Upon graduation, they will be guaranteed and excellent carreer path in a government or semi-government department, excellent salaries guaranteed for Muslims only. Should they wish to venture into business, interest free government loans are available for Muslims upon request. Lucrative government contracts are available for Muslim-only businesses. They can build their property and stock portfolio buy purchasing properties and stockmarket at discounted Muslims-only rate. Should they wish to enter politics, they are welcomed in a electoral system with heavily gerry-mandered boundaries - a system to benefit a previleged group. Their (Muslim) party is assured landslide successes with minimal votes. How is all these paid for? 1. Tax the kafirs till their can bleed no more. 2. Make the kafirs work for nothing. 3. Ensure no lucrative contracts go to kafir businesses. 4. Make the kafir pay for everthing - education, property etc 5. Carreer appointments are made based on religion and political ideology and not on merit. It does not matter if the country falls backwards as long as we are better-off than the kafirs. 6.
