1. Dear bereaved parents
Sagi ,   Israel   (01.18.07)
You are absolutely correct and totally justified in this demand of yours. I wish I could help in some way to promote this. I have already said this on Ynet, The candidates would be doing you a service if they refused and would be acting in a most honorable fashion. They are not permitted to refuse to appear before the MD or PM when summoned, they are soldiers, but if they could it would be even better.
2. The parents are speaking the truth
Harry   (01.18.07)
The children of these parents lived and fought and paid the Ultimate price where as the PM is mixed up with all sorts off corruption and his children aren't living in Israel and are involved with the far left destructive Ideas of destroying Israel. Olmert and Peretz resign or you will be forced out of office in a very ugly way.
3. The Next Ramatkal
Haim ,   Ra'anana   (01.19.07)
I respectfully suggest that the only real and just solution to the appointment of the next ramatkal, is to appoint someone who was not involved in the war and who did not support the "gerush". That man is Aluf Ya'alon, who was fired by the idiots who made us a vassal state of Bush's U.S.A.
4. Good for these parents!
Steve ,   USA   (01.19.07)
These men and women honor the memory of their / our brave children. I agree, Mr. Olmert and Mr. Peretz should also step down and make way for better and more capable leadership in Israel. Enough damage has been done to Israel.
5. Right On!
Richard ,   USA   (01.19.07)
Finally people are strong enough and have enough courage to say what needs to be said. I only hope Israel has the will and the strength to do what needs to be done. Get rid of the incompetents and cowardly leaders and put Israel back on track to protect its people. We all share the sorrow of the bereaved parents and we thank you for your very pointed and accurate message.
6. Time for a military COUP
malcolm   (01.19.07)
The refusal would be tantamount to a coup. In this case it would be Israel's first and in this case it would be justified... BECAUSE Olmert/Livni/Peretz behaved like TRAITORS during the war which lead to so many WASTED young lives.
7. Why only bereaved parents?
David ,   Brisbane   (01.19.07)
Why in Israel is it always bereaved parents or people with fiscal vested interests that constitute pressure groups? If those parents had have not voted for kadima or had demonstrated oslo etc, they would not be bereaved
