It should not be a suprise to anyone that the numbers of youngsters that have heard of the Holocaust is low. you forget lynne.... these palestinian jews never converted to christianity nor islam. yes, we all russian, polish, arab, french, etc...jews come from these ancestors. all these palestinian jews were our ancestors. our fathers and mothers, our relatives, our family. you also forget that the only reason jews were found all over the diaspora, not just in jewish palestine is because throughout the centuries we have had pogroms, assassinations, persecutions, intolerance which made us disperse and run to far away places to avoid persecution. some ended in spain, some in england, some in other parts of the world. but the fact remains that we are all us jews are descendents of jews in jewish palestine.
