For the first time ever, I agree with Abu Mazen. You know the world will not require Hamas to recognize Israel. The boycott is predictably faltering. The 'peace' process has always been about Israel giving concessions and the Palis not having to do a darn thing. So Abbas says it is OK for his future partner, if such a partnership ever sees the light of day, to refuse to recognise the State of Israel. Therefore we must take it that that is also his view. At laest we know where we stand one. Secondly what are these Palestinian principles Abbas talks about? Are these the same principles which concur that it is ok to kill defenceless civilians in bus queues, in restaurants and shopping malls?

1. Kill Jews. 2. If there are no Jews to kill, kill Christians. 3. If there are no Christians to kill, kill the rival clan family. 4. If there is no rival clan family to kill, kill your sister.

Abbas will forge ahead in his decisive & dynamic style & form a unity gov't by joining Hamas & growing a beard. But he will trim the beard & continue wearing a tie to reassure everyone he is still a moderate terrorist. That way, he can get the suckers in the EU to fork over some more money for Fatah to embezzle, with a cut for Hamas to buy arms.
