intentions. They hate peace and only want death to Israel. What kind of people cheer as scuds fly over head and actually land in their areas as well? Oh yeah, the same people that danced in the streets and handed out candy after 9/11. Palestinians need to change their ways or they wil always be known as the worlds worst culture EVER!

It is comforting to know that when our country suffers tragedy, we have paved the street for these people to dance on. What a pathetic waste of money.

10. Oh No!!!!!!
George W ,   Chicago IL   (01.23.07)
Uh oh, Palestinian street names show their true intention of jihad!!! From now on they must name all their streets Rumsfeld Street, Cheney Street, Wolfowitz Boulevard, Condoleeza Avenue, and Republican National Committee Street. If they don't, it shows that there's still no partner for peace.
11. Would you be happy if we name it after
atmawi   (01.23.07)
George Washington???? Do you need us to change our skin just because you aid us, I guess not. For the last year there was no USAID, and still we are alive, we need no such money. We set the Rules, you like to particibate, good. If you do not want to pay... DON'T, please do not. Most of the money USAID paid so far went directly to Dahlan kind of people. USA support no democracy, US supports dictators all over the world.

The Daily Telegraph reports that [T]he Shia militias are stepping up their campaign to drive out Iraq’s 20,000 remaining Palestinians – half the estimated 40,000 living in the country at the start of the war, all of whom were welcomed by Saddam Hussein and provided with housing, money and free education… Sheik Mahmoud El Hassani, a spokesman for the Mehdi Army, said the Palestinians had brought their suffering on themselves. He said Shias believed they were in league with Sunni extremists and al-Qaeda. “We are sure that all the Palestinians in Iraq are involved in killing the Shia people and they have to pay the price now,” he said. “They lived off our blood under Saddam. We were hungry with no food and they were comfortable with full bellies. They should leave now, or they will have to pay.” Kareem Zakia, 61, said his son, Yeha Ahmed, was kidnapped and killed in the Karada area of Baghdad two weeks ago. “The kidnappers called me and told me that they had taken my son because he came from Palestine and all the Palestinians support the Sunni terrorists. I found my son’s body the next day with many holes in his belly made by a drill.” He ordered his two other sons to leave with his wife and two daughters, but neighbouring Jordan refused to allow them to cross the border – as it has with many Palestinians trying to flee Iraq. John, are the Shia's and Kurds right to hate Palestinians who love Saddam?
14. What a bunch of sick peope
Freejay ,   Israel   (01.23.07)
Thanks america for indirectly funding terrorism. See where your money goes, naming streets and buildings after terrorist murderers. What does Jimmy Carter say about this?
15. you must understand
Joe King ,   Haifa-Israel   (01.23.07)
Hamass is a terrorist organisation. They were elected by more than 70% of the palestinians. They name their streets Saddam. So, who needs peace with them.
16. Thank you Saddam for fighting Iran !

17. What's new...
Rami ,   Nazareth, Israel   (01.23.07)
This is not the first time the US funds saddam or something relating to him. The USA was a major supporter of saddam during the Iran-Iraq war. he was supported financially and militarily. It was the Iraqi who payed with their blood to stop the evil barbaric army of the Islamic republic of Iran. Look what happened when the buffer was gone!
18. Always pick the losers of history to be your heroes
Bizzarro World ,   Pal. Territories   (01.23.07)
Why do the palestinian Arabs choose as their heroes executed dictators and suicide bombers? The roads they commemorate with the names of these ignominious losers of history are paved with the bones of the victims of their bloody deeds.

reply to #11 ,   from USA   (01.23.07)
It is true that America has supported dictators FOR POLITICAL REASONS. These have been mistakes that our government has yet to learn from. However, democratic governments are living, breathing entities that have flaws and vulnerabilities as well as benefits. The USA would like to support democracy for everyone in the Middle East, but Arabs all over the region can't seem to get their religion out of their politics. This would be a crucial step in adopting democratic ideals. If someone is used to chewing on wormwood for centuries, is it any wonder that when they are offered honey they would spit it out and claim that it is bitter?

yes, us $$$ have been spent on settlements. however, these settlements are comprised of hard working people that produce and work the land for profit and for progress. they don't kill maime and detonate themselves in the hope of killing arabs. big difference here. you always give money to those that are your friends, number one, and secondly, to those that will buy seeds to plant rather than qassams to inflict terror. also, bog difference. had the palestinians been allowed by their corrupt and vermin violent leaders to use the usa $$$$ in a constructive way to build an economy and a better way of life, no one would have been complaining and saying that usa$$$ donations to the palestinians is a waste of money. with all the milions being poured into gaza and west bank, it is a wonder why palestinians still shit in a hole in the ground and live in such dire poverty while their leaders wear nice expensive suits, trotting the globe for unnecessary or terroristic planned meetings with their "brothers" in iran and syria....all the while suha is laughung her head off wearing the 33 million dollars she stole both from the palestinians and the usa. go figure.
