Those who wanted to declare publicly that the President is of course guilty of everything, no evidence, no trial, nothing is needed, have already received their due share of media space. So we entered the „Suspension is not enough” phase. It seems that those who want to be really trendy today start their communication with phrases like „Lets’s change the law!”, „Let’s suspend the institution of suspension!”. I may be wrong, of course. It’s just an impression. Maybe I am very bad at analyzing the modus operandi of others, on the basis of their statements. Maybe my poor analyzing capacity derives from the fact that I have not seen enough silver goblets in my life. Or maybe I am simply old-fashioned who thinks presumption of innocence is a basic human right and allegations are just allegations until they are proven beyond any doubt by concrete, authentic evidence. What a fuss the media were making about pardons. About wiretapping. And then, nothing of course. No evidence. If there is anything in this case that seems to me believable, then it is the fact that there is no evidence for these allegations. Regarding those cups and goblets, I am still questioning myself if I understood it well. So this is the breach of trust. Alleged distribution of some cups. Alleged purchase of some goblets. Yes. Very good then, very good. I do not think it requires further comments. And finally, if people start telling to the media and to certain MKs that they were raped by someone whom they previously tried to blackmail unsuccessfully... And if in the meantime the Justice Minister is prosecuted for a kiss... Then I cannot say other but that there is enough evidence to show at least a little restraint. And that there is absolutely no need that the President resign. There is absolutely no need!

Halutz resigned; Katsav should withdraw himself pending legal determination (innocent until ....) But what about peretz, olmert and livni? Those that have offered to surrender the State in return for personal gain. Shouldn't they resign and be tried for treason!

Unfortunately Katsav seems to think that being President entitles him to do what he wants, without punishment. The man is simply drunk with power and thinks he's untouchable. Meantime he doesn't care about the reputation or honor of the position, just to hang on as long as possible. It was bad enough when he began mixing in politics - the Presidents position is supposed to be apolitical in Israel.

Katsav is a victim of his male chavenist attitude towards women, since the beginning. He regards women only as suitable to make tea and get laid. Olmert like to take fee and get paid....

When is Tzachi Hanegbi resigning from the knesset? Haim Ramon? Ehud Olmert?

Those ministers who are involved in scandals beware because they will be impeached by the citizens who voted for them. The citizens are being duped and mesmerised by words and unfocussed pictures. One day the citizens will wake up and see who their politicians and leaders really are. Whose interests are being served? It's time for soul-searching. The time for the citizens to have their say will come soon. Beware!!!
