Why arent they featured daily on ynet?!?!? This should be our concern, our own citizens. Where are the daily interviews, comments, video, from the citizens of Sderot and the Negev and Ashkelon?!??! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3. UN are kind of strange and selective, they say or do very
Uzi ,   Haifa   (01.26.07)
little about the genocides of Bosnia, Rwanda and Darfur. In terms of their own charter, rules, regulations and resolutions the UN are supposed to prevent and punish commission of genocide which includes acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group. In the context of genocidal terror attacks on Israelis and Jews abroad the UN comply with the perpetrators.
4. WHAT ABOUT THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE?

Congratulations, the U.N. is now in the same league as those who want to make bruning an American flag a crime. You should be commended on putting another nail in the coffin of FREE SPEECH. Why is it that someone can deny that the English committed a Holocaust against the Irish or that the Turks committed one against the Armenians, or the Japanese committed genocide against the Chinese during WWII, but even make light of the Jewish hollowcost and you end up in jail. Talk about elitist. And you wonder why everybody picks on us? Please Until some of these other tragedies are giving the same weight and significance as the events of WWII take a number and get in line.
6. Whoop-di-do
Douglas Miller ,   miami Beach, USA   (01.26.07)
The UN has become a rubber stamp for anti-Semitic theocracies and autocracies. Condemning Holocaust I denial while rolling out the red carpet for those criminal regimes and terrorist groups planning Holocaust II is the height of hypocrisy. The UN is merely trying to cover up for its nefarious deeds. Nice try, chumps.

8. un
(01.26.07)
it would be only fair and decent for the un to do so.....however, the un must finally act against all genocides in africa, especially, taking place as we speak so that we won't ever need to sign these kinds of resolutions in the future.

no one EVER disputed the armenian genocide. no one, except the perpetrators. the armenian genocide (god bless each of their souls) was a horific act and its perpetrators never got punished.

mr. olson, you are not a jew! a jew wil never think in this way. this is not a matter of being an elitist. no one ever denied there was no armenian or chinese, or any other genocide except for those who committed the genocide and the perpetrators of that genocide. it is a very well known fact what happened to these victims and NO ONE IS REFUTING THE HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE OR TRUTH OF THESE GENOCIDAL EVENTS IN HISTORY. however, there are many many many countries, scholars, etc...who make it their life ambition and scholarly work to refute the jewish tragedy as it happened. multiple books and articles have been written attempting to refute, revise and lie about what really occured in late 30's and early 40's to the european jewish population. but, i have yet to find a book that so zealosly refutes the armenian, chinese, irish etc.... genocides. no one is attemting to refute these at all. at least not as furiously as they do the holocaust. the un is not selecting the jewish holocaust issue as top dog here. they are mainly saying to the world: it happened. it is documented and it is true. and anyone that refutes it pays the consequences because it is illegal to do so.
