The only one making a gain out of this sorry state of affairs is Isreal. The more the palestinians self implode, the safer Isreal would be.

As long as the Palestinians fight amongst each other they will never be able to establish a true, free and viable Palestinian state. Palestinian in-fighting only benefits the Zionists. The democratic election of the pro-Islamic HAMAS threatens secular-minded Fatah's long traditional position of power and influence. Fatah is infamous for its fiscal mismanagement and corruption. HAMAS is known for its honesty, etihics and charity work. HAMAS promised the the people unbowing dignity. Fatah, with U.S., U.K. and Israeli support, has plunged the PA territories into civil war. Neither the West, nor the Israelis really want true democracy in the world, because the Islamists would be in power in the entire Middle East, most of Africa, much of Asia, and parts of Europe. Democracy would mean political empowerment for radical Islamists who view Zionism and Western imperialism as enemies. The West talks about democracy but does not truly want it to be a reality.

You claim in tb 9 that your response had nothing anti-semetic in it. Yet, with no citations or justifications whatsoever, you suggest that Israel security services are behind the kidnapping attempts. Given the bartering going on between Hamas and Fatah via the captives as a bargaining chip, reality suggests that Fatah and Hamas ALSO have an interest in these kidnappings (contrary to your statements). There is NOTHING to suggest that Israel had a hand in Palestinian infighting other than the fact that it may, tangentially, help Israel out. Security-wise, btw, this may not even be true, because internal chaos often makes intel collection trickier, etc. Such completely unsubstantiated assertions by you that Israel is deliberately causing INTERNAL Palestinian problems smacks of Islamic propoganda disseminated across the Middle East. Perhaps your conspiracy theory was not consciously anti-semitic, but it was so, by its very nature of removing accountability from the perpetrators of the current violence, and throwing it on Israel for no fact-based reason whatsoever. Regarding your post in #9, the millions who died in Europe died to prevent Nazi expansionism and takeover of their own nations. They DID NOT die in an attempt to eliminate the death camps. This is evidenced by the refusal of Allied leaders to destroy the camps aerially, although they had photographs and plans of the camps for years. Also, if their main interest was saving the Jews, they wouldn't have closed their borders almost entirely to Jewish refugees. If you insist on referring to your points as 'reasonable', I suggest that, in the future, you substantiate your claims either with current information or historical fact. For now, such salient information is jarringly absent from your posts.

Violence between Arabs is perpetual, with an occasional pause for preparing for the ensuing bout; just like their approach toward Israelis and Jews abroad. Peace with Arabs is a very sad joke.

I thought Churchill was a friend but he supported British foreign office policy of turning Jewish refugees back to the Nazi occupied Europe or throwing us in internment camps on the islands of Cyprus and Mauritius.
