1. How much did the UJA give to Yehsa and how much did they ...
(02.01.07)
give to non Jewish causes. I seem more athiest "jews" concerned more about nonJewish problems than Jewish problems. How sad some have to rely on nonJewish sources for donations. How sad

4. Thanx guys, we need your support!
Elan ,   Netanya, Israel   (02.01.07)
And those muslims who say "you know that their aim in helping the gush katif evacuees is conversion". Don't make me laugh!! The gush katif people have such strong faith that it will be quite foolish to even entertain the idea of converting a kush katif person.
5. Christian friends of Israel

Todah rabbah!
6. CHRISTIANS????
JP ,   usa   (02.01.07)
Gee, maybe Rabbi Tovia Singer should read this article and then extend an apology to the Christians he so adamantly suggests are no good. And just think, they never tried to convert a single one. Way to go Christians!!!!!
7. Thank's Santa ! you"re the best !

JK ,   NYC   (02.01.07)
You all know they want a return for their money and that of course is Jewish souls, adults, children healthy and sick, young and old, the money comes with a price and I thought the Gush Katif people had some Jewish pride, even the German Nazi reparations didn't require contact with the soul snatchers.
9. Amrican Christains aer friends of Israel....

10. I have listened to Rabbi Tovia Singer before...
Elan ,   Netanya, Israel   (02.01.07)
and never have I heard him speak ill of the International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem, quite the contrary! He frequently invites the director of ICEJ to the show. The only people he speaks bad of are bad gentiles AND bad Jews!
11. #10 Tovia Singer
JP ,   usa   (02.01.07)
Go to Arutz Sheva website and find out what Tovia Singer had to say about Christians. Make no mistake, I like and listen to Tovia all the time, but I disagree with him on the one thing.
12. Thank you!
Kalman ,   Israel   (02.01.07)
From Olmert and Peretz they won't get a penny.
13. Thank you very much, friends.
Zvi   (02.02.07)
I am sure that I speak for many when I say that we bless the warm friendship of our Christian friends. In a time of danger, when so many people around the world have run away, capitulated to terror or given in to bigotry and hatred, your support for Israel has helped to keep the candle of hope (hatikvah) alive.
14. FYI...
Someone ,   Somewhere   (02.02.07)
Rabbi Singer isn't slamming ALL Christians...he was slamming Jews for Jesus specificly.
15. Nr.8 you are right on !
Dave   (02.02.07)
Nr. 8 you are right on ! The Christians believe that Christ is God Incarnate. We as Jews believe that God is A Unity, The Creator of the Universe, the Supreme Being, Unknowable and Merciful. We believe that God will never ever ever be incarnated in human form. The Christians want to convert everyone to Christianity eventually, today, tomorrow, in the next 10 years or in the next 100 years. But what about us Jews. We would love it if the entire world would embrace our beliefs in God as being the Supreme Unknowable Merciful Being, a Unity unlike all other unities. We say it in our prayers, whether Reform, Conservative, or Orthodox, Karaite, Samaritan, Reconstructionist, etc., etc. "Ba yom ha hu, ba yom ha hu, yihyeh Hashem Ehad. Wu shemo, wu shemo, wu shemo ehad". So, let's be honest, the Christians would love it if all Jews and all humanity converted to Christianity, and believe there working on it. Therefore anything they do is never ever totally disinterested. So, if any Jewish person shows weakness in their emunah, the Christians will be very happy to step in.

I dont think Cristian Embassy expects these people to convert -give a break, they could target a non-orthodox population for that matter Let's not get paranoid - good gentiles exist and have a noble embracing neshama - Thank you guys
17. A Question
Renee, NYC   (02.02.07)
Why would the Christian Embassy waste it's time, money and resources trying to convert Jews who are already steadfast in their religious beliefs when they have a country full of non-believers they could be targeting? Perhaps we shouldn't be looking this gift horse in the mouth.
18. #17 Renee: Why do Christians target Jews?
Yacov ,   Ashkelon   (02.02.07)
Picking off a Jew is the grand prize for a Christian and warrants a special notch on the stock of a pistol-packing preacher creature. I have dealt with many of them. They would rather steal one Jewish soul than reach 1,000 fallen-away Christians. It's like a big-game hunter who would travel all the way to Africa to shoot one lion rather than clean up his neighborhood by catching 1,000 rats. Go figure.
19. For Israel
Watchman ,   Finland   (02.02.07)
Just yesterday listened my fellow schoolmate's speech. He has been working for ICEJ in J'lem for years. He spoke how the US Iraq- committee has proposed the split of J'lem - still the Holy Scriptures say it is God's. He worried for Israel, for the time of Jacob's Trouble is very near. These Christians love Israel. They know that God blesses them that bless Israel. They have the words of a once devout Jew, who became a Christian, "woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!" (1 Cor. 9:16). And, they have learned to know the only true God of Israel - as that devout Jew Saul of Tarsus had. And I have. Yeshua the Messiah lives - and He lives through His own. http://www.JeesusOnHerra.com/Prophecy_Heb.pdf
20. Who is your real enemy?
elijah ,   Beirut   (02.02.07)
1-Ahmadinajad 2-Those Christians 3-Other Jews :Reform, Conservative, or Orthodox, Karaite, Samaritan, Reconstructionist, etc., etc. well in the absence of 1st and 2nd choice you will kill each other.
21. Christians Don't Steal Souls. Hate-Monger Jews Drive Em Away
Paqid 16 Netzarim ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (02.02.07)
Young educated Jews have been fleeing medieval fabulists - fable-izing Torah - who masquerade as Torah teachers; as well as fleeing hate-mongering Jews; to the point that over 90% have been driven away from Torah into assimilation. These religious orphans scour the earth looking for answers, from everywhere, all religions and in many lands. Christianity is no more proselytory than Islam and, in fact, has arguably become less effective than Islam. But the villain isn't Christian or Muslim missionaries. The villain is Jewish Medieval Fabulists Masquerading as Torah teachers and hate-mongers. Christians are doing no more than television ads, trying to improve their image and make their product attractive to their audiences; all audiences, not limited to Jews. In fact, they spend 99% of their efforts proselytizing other goyim. WAY more than 99% of Christians are totally ignorant at how to approach a Jew. Anyone who reads Christian postings in this website could hardly miss that. If Jews knew why Torah is true and superior rather than being given the false impression that it's a mixture of superstition and hate-mongering, then missionaries of other religions, as long as they remain peaceful and tolerant, could be no more harmful than a television commercial. So if you want to rant at the true villain responsible for the hemorrhaging of Jewish souls, go rant in the mirror and quit spewing hatred in the name of Jews or Torah. 22. Well I hope the save lives
Abdullah ,   Europe/Midlle East   (02.02.07)
I must confess that I might be biased against xtianity b'cos my family were missionary targets at a most vulnerable time in our recent history. And I just barely escaped with my soul intact and have become a (Jewish) religious extremist ever since for protection. This is not to mention the more distant history in sfarad. However, there a re xtian groups who respect Judaism, e.g. the Amish who even make kosher products in America. They like the recent catholic position acknowledge that Jews do not need xtianity, and have an eternal and unchangeable covenant with G-d. Jews don't need any other religion but the religion of their righteous ancestors. If the xtian embassy has such beliefs and can say so publicly, then there is no reason to fear. If a vulnerable person goes to one of their staff seeking to become a xtian (heaven forbid), I hope they will direct him to a good Rabbi to guide him down the religion of his Jewish ancestors. It is the least that a xtian can do. Not only for the individual but also for his ancestors who struggled and suffered sometimes as much as the loss of life holding on to the traditional Jewish identity. This by no means detracts from the financial help. It is much appreciated. Looking forward to more of the "spiritual" help, b'cos this will be extremely appreciated and is guaranteed to build trust and seal the relationship.
23. Watchman, Finland (#19) Study Some History
Paqid 16 Netzarim ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (02.02.07)
Your earliest Church historian, Eusebius, documented that Paul, who wrote most of the NT and whom you quote, had earlier been excised by the Netzarim as an apostate (EH III.xxvii.4). You also remain oblivious that your NT is no more Bible to Jews than the Quran, Book of Mormon, Watchtower, etc. Learn what you're talking about before preaching to others.
24. #21 Paqid: Your Jews for Jesus facade
Yacov ,   Ashkelon   (02.02.07)
Israel was created as a refuge where Jews could go to escape Christians after 19 centuries of Christians trying to destroy us. Christian organizations pursue us to Israel and spend millions on missionaries and front organizations in their efforts to steal Jewish souls. How much money do you and your missionary front organization take in from Christians in your efforts to steal Jewish souls?

26. To Yacov in ashkelon
Pumpkin Pie ,   (A Christian)   (02.03.07)
Yacov, I'm sorry your dealings with Christians have soured you. You should check into the beliefs and background of the Christian Embassy. They emphatically do not support the idea of converting Jews to Christianity. In fact, I know some Christians who don't want to volunteer with them because the ICEJ forbids anything that even hints at a conversion attempt. Rather, they want to fulfill the biblical mandate to bless God's people (Israel) and also to show a different face than that of the Christians who have historically persecuted Jews. The ICEJ offers their services without condition. I'm not saying there aren't Christians who want to convert Jews, I'm just saying that if you accuse the ICEJ of that, you are barking up the wrong tree.
27. Dear Paqid
Watchman ,   Finland   (02.03.07)
How will you stop me in loving Israel and the Jews? Pls study the link I posted and see the near future. I pray for you and your country, because the time of Jacob's Trouble is near - and you can almost feel it. "... for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." And that Name is Yeshua, the Messiah.
28. Hve reasonable caution, there is a possible threat
Ben Temalion ,   Shiloh, MO USA   (02.03.07)
Of course missionizing is a very real threat. When offered supoort accept it as far as that goes. When they move away from that support, show they are not standing with you to support you. Move quickly away. I hope you lt them stand with you on this and they should not devolve and manifest their other yearnings. In my acts to support YeShA, the Jewish Federation has been an obstacle and I know they done more than just ridicule Jews for trying to support YeShA. They are appaling in their loathing of those who love the land.

It would appear that these Christians acted with more Tzedak than their fellow Jews. G-d will bless them
30. Acts of charity
Nara ,   USA   (02.04.07)
As an American Christian who supported this effort and also gave to the children of Shiloh, I am really hurt by some of these hateful comments. Will it stop me from given from my heart to these children in need, no; but how sad to read (see) such ungrateful, hateful words by people who call them Jews! You do not know the ahava of YHWH! You are unrectified souls !
