this is only the beginning of the garbage desposal of the government. most members are corrupt in one way or another. let's start from the TOP. the president is a rapist. the minister of justice is a sex maniac, our PM is a crook.........sad sad sad.

and women everywhere are the same. Some get roasted, some get toasted, that's the way the cookie crumbles. They have no doubt succeeded in frightening the pants off the president, which was probably the major factor behind this morning's rather over dramatized exercise, and that's not a bad outcome.

It's no secret there is a lot of corruption in the Israeli gov't. Embarrassing as it is, it's good that ministers are being convicted and put into their place. It's bad for PR now, but it's definitely time for a change, and these convictions open up the door for just that. The only thing now is to get past this resentment and humiliation, and to try to make something good of the situation/government.

Olmert is trying to divert attention to the investigations about his criminal activities. By the way, whats happening with that? I dont see much media attention about it.

I hope he loses his appeal and has to serve jail time. It is the only way these politicans are going to learn they are not above the law.

Looking at the photo of Ramon and that young female soldier , I am not convinced of her innocence. Note how she is hugging him across his chest...... He might be a pond scam, but this particular case cannot be held against him.
