1. Read THE FATAH CHARTER!!!
(02.04.07)
Read FATAH's CHARTER http://www.fateh.net/e_public/constitution.htm http://www.fateh.net/e_public/constitution.htm#The%20Movement's%20Essential What does it say in Article 7/12/13/17/19 STOP THE MEDIA, OLMERT, BUSH, CONDI AND THE REST FROM LEGITIMIZING FATAH They are giving arms and milions to Abu Mazen. Expose Fatah
2. #1, also stop giving 3 billion $ in arms to Israel
Haifai   (02.04.07)
The money could be used better in Iraq to fight terror and seek for weapons of mass destruction ! Or simply bcoz Israel uses cluster bombs against civil population in lebanon.
3. Did 'Pals for peace' group denounce Eilat bombing?
fair is fair ,   USA   (02.04.07)
In much the same way that Israeli left-wingers display self-critique of their own gov't's policies, it behooves the Palestinian group (who claims it promotes peace and dialogue) to publicly decry the recent suicide bombing in Eilat, releasing a statement condemning suicide bombings and violent resistance in general. I did not find such a statement on-line. Pity. It would seem that Israeli left-wingers decry the policies of their own gov't in a push towards compromise (putting oneself in the others' shoes - the way that compromise, in theory, works) while alleged Palestinian left-wingers don't bother decrying the barbaric actions of their compatriots against Israel (not actually a move towards compromise)
4. they must be kidding
israeli ,   israel   (02.04.07)
Civil war is raging, Hamas and Fatah are at each other's throats and killing dozens, and they worry about checkpoints?
5. Its very simple ...stop suicide bombing of Israelis!
rachel ,   usa   (02.04.07)
Until then ...stop complaining!
6. GOOD GOING
American ,   USA   (02.04.07)
Things ARE CHANGING. People are seeing more and more the hardships oppssed upon the Palestinians throught the world by the Israelis. It is good that some Israleis are supporting this. Congrats.
7. How typical! Why not reject terror?!
Rachel ,   Israel   (02.04.07)
This is the kind of thing that keeps your people down in the mud. As long as you keep blaming the occupation instead of trying to change what is wrong with your own society you will never have freedom or peace. Everything that the Jews do to promote peace you interpret as weakness and choose more terror. There really is no wisdom among you.
8. Why are there checkpoints?
Matt ,   New York   (02.04.07)
Of course, checkpoints are terrible? But how many were there before 1987, before Palestianians started entering Israel to murder people? NONE! Why are there some many checkpoints around Nablus? Because there are so many terrorists there! Stop the terror and the checkpoints will end. If you don't want to wait in lines for hours, with soldiers checking all your bags, stop letting terrorists act in your communities!
9. if there were checkpoints in gaza palis would be better off
aaron ,   ra'anana   (02.04.07)
10. More BS Propaganda.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (02.04.07)
11. not propaganda Terry
charles ,   petach tikva   (02.04.07)
It's true , but certtainly exagerated . For the reasons of those checkposts , look at the other tb's , i fully agree with . Do the "palestinians" think we like to do this ? Do they think that we have not better things to do with our money than spending it on security ? Do they think we like to be checked at the entrance of shopping malls , post offices , banks and so on ? Stop the attacks , we'll be very happy to shut the check posts .
12. YNet, go to hell. Nablus IS like the Warsaw Ghetto...
Michael Steiner   (02.04.07)
...and we ARE turning into those who hurt us the most in our history. It is tragic, we should reflect on it and we should STOP it. This needless occupation is corrupting us and will cause our eventual downfall; NO people have ever been continuously subjugated and the Palestinians will be no exception. If we don't change our ways, we'll end up like the Soviet Union or Yugoslavia: in tatters. Instead, you censor my comments but let cryptonazis spew their crap like there's no tomorrow. Even A-7 doesn't block liberal commentators. You want to be another forum of rabid right-wingers? Go ahead. Good-bye.
13. response to art exhibit.
yosef ,   FR   (02.04.07)
I think the best way to allow these palestinians to see the two sites of the coin would be for the israelies to start an art exhibition for the checkpoints... putting the pictures of the horrors the palestinians did against the Israelies in the past year alone... may be then they will understand why crossing the border is so hard for them...

charles ,   petach tikva   (02.04.07)
Very good idea . But will they look at it , or believe those pictures ?
15. Hi Charles in Petah Tikva.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (02.04.07)
That's what I meant by more propaganda. They always make it sound that we have checkpoints for no particular reason - just out-of-the blue, we make checkpoints for the hell of it. That makes it propaganda. It confuses cause & effect. And your comment on our internal security is ever so true - we pay a lot of money for security. And to Michael Steiner - you jerk, my father's family was murdered in the Warsaw ghetto & any comparison is absolutely disgusting - you should be ashamed of yourself for saying such a thing.
