Iraq is under attack by insurgents. These are terrorists sent in from Iran, Syria, Egypt etc. Iraq will never be a safe, stable place until the US trains and arms their "police" and "army". We attacked Saddam for many reasons and justice prevailed, a bad man who murdered lots of people was put away, under ground. Just like Hitler, mad men have to be stopped before they can do a lot of damage. Your attitude would allow the killing of millions before we act...not so good if you ask me.
