From what I have ssen this is not on the Mount. And even if it was, what makes them think that it is the sole province of the Muslims? If they were serious abt administration they would be discussing this with ALL parties peacefully instead of the usual blowing of hot air and rioting. As stated in a related article, the Israel Antiquities Authority is doing works to reinforce the bridge to the Mugrabi Gate, which leads to the Temple Mount and is in danger of collapsing. The King of Jordan should be aware of this danger, especially to the women (including my own wife) who pray at the Western Wall next to this bridge. The idea of "peace" with the Palestinians has been dead for a long time. If our gov't had any self-respect ( which they obviously don't), they would cancel plans for a new minaret on the Temple Mount. This is just more Arab BS using blackmail, intimidation, & threats. They're creating an issue out of nothing because they always use religion as a political weapon. As if they don't blow up mosques & shrines all the time, use mosques as warehouses for arms & ammunition, assasinate people while they pray, etc. not to mention the absolute disrespect they have for other peoples places of worship & holy places. what a bunch of hypocrites, it's unbelievable. Maybe we should remind King Abdallah what Jordanians did in the old city after 1948 - they destroyed synagogues, tore up cemeteries & used gravestones to pave streets, & closed the Wall to Jews.

Do we have sovereignty over Jerusalem or not? If we do, as our government insists that we do and has declared as such then this is a non-issue.
