Jerusalem was mentioned and blessed in the holy Quran six times .. in addition , it was mintioned thoesend times in the Hadiths. Muslims used to pray facing this holy city in the early times of Islam .. then the God has changed it into Mecca .. It is a holy city for Christians , Jews and Muslims .. so it is not just a political grievance.
