There is nothing there related to the Jewish Temple that was was mentioned in the Quran too by the way. This Temple was a mosque used by the prophets David, Solomon, Zacharia, etc.... This place was abandoned for more than 800 years before Muslim capture of the City of Jerusalem. There were no Jews to be mentioned living in the City. Even the Patriach of Jerusalem strongly requested in the covenant with Omar bin al-Khattab that no Jews be allowed to live along the Christians of Jerusalem. Anyway, Muslims reconstructed the Mosque of David and Solomon mentioned in the Quran. There was nothing in the area for hundreds of years. Even today's western wall is part of the Walls that were built by Suleiman the Magnificient, the Ottoman Caliph... Stop forging history please... The Western wall was only given this significance in the last century for political reasons at the end of the British Mandate... It is part of al-Aqsa mosque walls that were built and rebuilt many times from the Umayyid Dynasty period, through the Mamluks, Ottomans, Ayyubids...
