1. Fueling anarchy, eh?
Ironcandle ,   Atlanta, GA   (02.08.07)
Good job Israel. Maybe you could give them soem guns to shoot each other with as well.
2. Blame the Jooz! Blame the Jooz!
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (02.08.07)
Moslem gets the hiccups, blames the Jooz.
3. More cheap excuses from the PA
JPS ,   Efrat   (02.08.07)
The bottom line is that the Palestinians don't want to assert law and order in their own front yards. Cracking down on law breakers would involve a painful transition period of being in a position where people would call them stooges and tools of the Zionists, even though they were doing nothing more than enforcing Palestinian law and order. So, rather than get their act together, (which would admittedly be painful) they blame Israel. If Abbas and Haniya decided to stop the tunnels and illegal arms, they could. Unfortunately for now, local Palestinian power politics is more important than the national Palestinian interest.

7. Again, they are unable to take responsibility for themselves
Yonatan ,   USA   (02.08.07)
Just like spoiled little children, they blame everyone else. No one has taught them self control. GROW UP. Just because you can buy a gun easily, it doesn't mean you have to shoot your neighbor. The gun doesn't shoot anyone, YOU do. I'm sure this fell on deaf ears. (Blind eyes?) LOL
8. The EU gang expects Jews to live inONE state with this gang
Alan ,   SA   (02.08.07)
9. @the Palestinians: We're not that SMART
daniel ,   amsterdam   (02.08.07)
If we had any intelligent leaders, Israel would indeed be fueling anarchy in the WB and Gaza. But unfortunatly Israeli politicians are so dimwitted that after Yasser Arafat's peace process Hoax, they are more then willing to be conned again. And again, and again and again... I don't get it, I just dont get it. I guess Israeli politicians do. The Suicide attacks by the Al Aksa suicide brigades are actually very moderate. Abu Mazen denies the Holocaust in a very moderate way. Fatah wants to moderatly destroy Israel in the future, not right now this instance as the Hamas extremists want. Who'se more insane? Them or us? If we were half as smart as our enemies think we are, we would have won this war a long time ago,

11. The Jew Is The Worlds Scape Goat Again.
tzioni ,   ny   (02.08.07)
A Suni Arab kills a shite Arab and somehow the Jew is at fault.
12. What kills me is...
Eric ,   Israel   (02.08.07)
What kills me is that instead of really looking at a particular situation that isn't in our favor, as Israeli's we just immediately cry "foul" and say we are being blamed for everything in the world. I agree that the palestinians fighting each other is their own problem and it stems from the fact that they have become so militarized as a society that they cant even help it. HOWEVER, it is fair to say Israel isn't helping the situation. We do not really fight the smuggling in Gaza on one hand and on the other hand we supply Fatah with arms...so in essence, we are really accomplishing nothing to help the situation.
13. WHERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM?
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (02.08.07)
14. Re: Quotation from article
(02.08.07)
“In the West Bank, the weapon pipeline is the Israeli gangs. They sell their weapons to Palestinian counterparts, who in return sell them to armed groups and private customers,” If that is true, then palestinian terror groups like Hamas are just getting a taste of their own medecine. He who lives by assymetric warfare, dies by assymetric warfare.
15. if they can refuse our help ,,,,,,,
haim ,   mtl canada   (02.08.07)
then we should help them kill each other cause at the end we will be scapgoats again
16. How astute
Paul ,   Austin, USA   (02.08.07)
It's entirely in Israeli nat'l interests to have Palestinians (or muslims at large) fight each other rather than attack Israel. It's a sound tactic, and I have to applaud whatever Israeli psy-ops are at work.
17. Schizophrenia Reigns....
Kate ,   Jerusalem   (02.08.07)
If Israel dissallows arms in Palestine, she is accused of supporting continued occupation. If Israel allows arms she is accused of land grabbing. and, if Israel very firmly does everything possible to stop the movement of arms, she is - of course - responsible for Palestinians shooting each other!?! I'm not sure I understand this brand of logic. Is it perhaps a new type of mass schizophrenia?
18. Arabs buy guns instead of making future..sad
David ,   Boston, USA   (02.08.07)
I dont know who is selling the guns, but it is the Arabs who choose to use them rather than using their brains to develop an economy. The Arabs are 100% at fault.
19. I had no milk for Cereal this morning
Ryan ,   Calgary, Canada   (02.08.07)
And I blame it all on Israel. So much easier than just going to the store. Seriously though, take some responsibility for your action. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Just ask yourselves, Who pulled the trigger? The palestinian counterparts? I suppose they must be Mossad? I guess if I buy a gun from someone, then commit a murder, I can blame the guy that sold me the gun. Cool, I never knew you could do that.
20. Just goes to show
Mark Silas ,   Beer Sheva   (02.08.07)
Well done The Media Line, once again.
21. Tunnels for rent ????
Michelle T ,     (02.08.07)
22. It's not the killings
Tracy W   (02.08.07)
I don't think that Israelis rejoice in the mutual killing going on. There is at least one hospital in Israel helping the wounded from Gaza (read INN). What is important is that Gaza is showcasing the world what their culture is all about. In view of it, one has to really question the motivation of those insisting on the Roadmap. It can't be peace. The destruction of Israel, perhaps?
23. #16-quite so
Cameron ,   USA   (02.08.07)
Better to have them offing eachother than hunting Israeli families. If the angry lads want popguns to knock eachother down, so be it.
24. The PA is smuggling weapons through tunnels. Not Israel.
Zvi ,   USA   (02.08.07)
Israel has tried to stop the flow of arms. HAMAS in particular has ensured that this was unsuccessful. The Palestinians who complain about the presence of guns, and blame it on Israel, are either idiots or simply lying. It is against Israel's interest for the terrorists to stockpile weapons. If the PA is reluctant to move against the smugglers, then it is the PA's fault, not Israel's, that there are guns and drugs in Gaza. What an idiotic article.
25. gas explosion
sas ,   israel   (02.09.07)
it's very easy to blame everything on israel!
26. israel fueling anarchy
sad ,   israel   (02.09.07)
it's always easy to blame israel for whatever happens in gaza or ramallah. they do nothing and have no intention of doing anything for themselves.
27. How many Arabs does it take to build a state?
Sunhouse ,   Israel   (02.09.07)
Our Palestinian neighbors are in good company. The same thing is happening all over the Arab world. I don't see how anyone can argue that Israel is responsible for all Arab infighting that is going on in the world. There was infighting among different Jewish factions just prior to the creation of the Jewish State. God made a great miracle and unified them long enough so that the nation could be built and defended through it's early days. Now sadly, it appears that this unity among Jews has faded, everyone now looks out for their own self-interests. It's a cycle that's been repeating itself, over and over, since ancient times.
