Linda Rivera ,   New York   (02.08.07)
over the loss of your dear son. Maj.-Gen Almog, thank you so much for your courage and your fight for Israel and the entire Free World against global jihad.
2. Maj-General Almog
robin ,   Israel   (02.08.07)
My condolences to the family,I too have a son with Autism, however he has Asperger's syndrom which is a form of high functioning Autism. I applaud the organization that the family set up, we need more organizations dedicated to Autism in this country. Again my condolences to the family and may they continue their good work dedicated to their son.
3. My heartfelt sympathy
BB ,   Karmiel, Israel   (02.08.07)
You helped others and so did your son. His soul is free now. I hope that the friendships he helped forge will always be there to make your lives a little easier. He lives on in the work done in his behalf. May G-d bless you.
4. Sorrow
Falasteeni ,   Canada   (02.08.07)
God bless his soul and I hope that the loss of his child will open his heart and feel remorse for the children and people he has killed over the years. As a Palestinian..I can't help but feel sorrow for the loss of this innocent boy..even though his father has blood on his hands.
5. May you know no more distress...
Xaxam ,   Rehovot   (02.08.07)
לא תדעו צרות...
6. Doron Almog
A ,   TX, USA   (02.08.07)
Doron was my "Machat" in Gaza. He was fantastic. I met him here in TX. Again, he was fantastic. I wish Doron and his family the strength to cope with this horror as I cannot imagine losing my son.
7. #4
Jane   (02.08.07)
You are an ass-hole.
8. Didi and Doron, my heart is with you
A. ,   Israel   (02.08.07)
These terrible news shocked me deeply. Didi used to be our teacher in highschool and I will never forget her and everything she has done for us. I will remember Didi and her husband in my daily prayers. May Hashem give them strength to get over this terrible blow. Number 4: you really could think better than talk about blood on anyone's hands at this moment. It was low and disgusting (even without discussing the truthfulness of this statement, which I personally doubt...)
9. 4: no good deed goes unpunished
(02.08.07)
10. To no 7
Y ,   N   (02.08.07)
No 4 is something much worse than an a******. He is an arab a******. They are among the worst on the planet. To no 4 what about the children killed by other palis then?
11. LOVE lives on...
Dov ben Arieh ,   Edinburgh, Scotland   (02.08.07)
The story is one of the most moving and inspiring that I have read. Doron, Didi and Eram, looked the world in the eye and said " He's our son, our family, he's got a few challenges and we LOVE him!" For Eram, the suffering and pain is over - he lives on in the memories of all who knew and loved them as a family and will live on in the 'village'. May his mother and father be blessed - for their courage and love - the prayers of so many folk in Israel and the world are with them, Shalom Haver
12. Baruch dayan emes
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (02.08.07)
Comfort to the Almog family on their loss. I have sometimes mocked people in these talkbacks calling them "retarded," the fact is that Down's Syndrome and autistic people are the most loving and beloved people you ever saw.
13. Major Almog's son
Pearl ,   Jerusalem   (02.08.07)
I was heartbroken to read about Eran's death. I have always been so impressed with how loving this family has been through so many challenges. Hamakom Yenachem Etchem.
14. To #7 and #10
Khalid ,   The Netherlands   (02.08.07)
When you cannot come up with an argument based on facts and logic you start cursing and caling names. This is just a proof that you do not have anything to counterargue the Palestinian (of no #4) with. Try to get the facts of history right, It is people like Eran Elmog who brought this culture of violence to this region. Well, it is true that innocent Israeli children have also been killed in this unfortunate struggle, but it is Eran Elmog and people like him (who came from Russia, Ukrsaine, Romania, Poland, .... , based on historical connections which never were proven) to occupy palestinian land (on which the Palestinians can very easily prove that they have been living for generations), kill their young men and children, confiscate their lands, destroy their farms, and leave them in a desperate situation leading to extremism and violence. Palestinian violence against Israelis is a reaction to Israeli violence, and not the other way around. Of course, you can reply by another curse, but that does not help in any way to change tha facts on the ground
15. #4 - shut your mouth!
Chaya ,   Bat Yam, Israel   (02.08.07)
It is your 'people' who are the murderers! You murder your own children as well! You are heartless!
16. Prayers to you.
Chaim ,   Tzur Hadassa   (02.08.07)
My prayers go out to your family. I too, am the father of a autistic son. He is in the states and I hope to bring him home someday. May G-d heal the pain in your hearts.
17. their comfort
alan ,   kodiak alaska   (02.09.07)
May the love this couple bestowed upon their son and the love he returned cloak them now and forever.
18. to #4 and #14
Oren ,   Hawaii   (02.09.07)
You should be ashamed of yourselves. This article has nothing to do with any Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It has to do with the loss of a family member. Sure, you can feel sorry for Doron, but don't do it with a little twist at the end (such as "blood on his hands..."). Just leave it at sorry. I recently lost my grandfather. He was suffering from Alzheimer's disease, and was in Israel. I know how it feels to lose someone who is physically far away, but emotionally close to you. My condolences to Doron and his family... Celebrate his life. Don't mourn his death.
19. My condolences to the Almog family
gabriela ben ari ,   jerusalem   (02.09.07)
This is so sad I've got no words of consolation. To Ynet on tbs #4 and #14 I wonder what promped you to publish these hate tbs, for a family totally broken for life in sorrow, to put them to read them. This comes from a person whose talkbacks are systematically censored because they do not clasify as politically correct. I wonder what promped the Ynet staff to publish #4 #14 Oh! I forgot , to be politically correct Keep your "good" job Ynet, the country is down the slope for a while now thanks to people/media like you
20. #18, teach yourself some humanity
Khalid ,   The Netherlands   (02.09.07)
If it is really true that you know how it feels to lose someone, then you should teach yourself that other humans (including Palestinians) feel the same pain when losing someone emotionally dear to them. Unfortunately, for zioniosts like you. it seems that the value of human life is measured by the religious or ethnic background of the individual concerned. That is why people like you start crying foul when anyone dares to mention a loss connected to a non Israeli life. In my talk back (no #14) I did not mention anything about land dispute, I just tried to bring to light the human suffering of this conflict, the land dispute is and has been created by the Zionists, resulting in all the human sufferings we say today in this region of the world
21. In case you didn't notice...
Oren ,   Hawaii   (02.09.07)
... I didn't mention anything about race and religion. I called for a trancendence of such things. It is you, Khalid, who keeps bringing it up. Like I said, let's put political beliefs aside and just offer our condolences to the family.
22. Condolences
NS ,   Long Island, NY   (02.09.07)
On behalf of my family I wish to send condolences to the entire Almog Family during this tragic time. May Eran find peace with G-d and his family find closure.
23. Sincere condolences to the Almog family
Lina ,   USA   (02.09.07)
May you continue your good work in your son's memory.
24. YNET, what the hell is wrong with you?
NS ,   Long Island, NY   (02.09.07)
A hero of Israel has lost his son to a tragic disease and you allow some parasites to use this tragedy to foster their cheap extremist politics on the dead body of his son. As editors you have the right to reject some of these poisonous talkbacks and it would not be called censorship. Use some discretion for goodness sakes!!!!!!!!!
25. Dr.Mr and Mrs.Almog
Margaret   (02.09.07)
As an American girl, who has a deep love for Israel and the Israeli people I extend my deep, heartfelt sympathy for Mr. and Mrs.Almog over the loss of their beloved son. May God comfort you and give you both peace in your time of loss and grief over your son Eran.
26. To Falastieen and Khaled
Margaret   (02.09.07)
You both must be terrorist sympathizers. As a Jew, who has been a victim of prejudice before, I am very reluctant to stereotype any one group of people, but in reality I have rarely seen any one group of people who has engaged in such brazen, shameless cruelty like the Arabs have. My God the man just lost his son and all you two do is come in here and attack him and assasinate his character? Mr.Khaled you said people like Mr.Almog brought violence to this region, and that the Palestinian violence is just a reaction to Israeli violence. Either your very mistaken,or a flat our liar, it is the Arabs, who have usually intiated the violence. Your people have been murdering Jews for years. They massacred Israelis years before the so called "occupation" of the West Bank that many people now complain about as being the so called "root cause" of the conflict. In fact, the Palestinian Arabs slaughtered Jews years before there ever even was a state of Israel. In 1922, the Arabs slaughtered Jews in riots in Jerusalem,Safed, and Petach Tivkah. In 1929, your people slaughtered most of the Jewish community in Hebron. Granted the Israelis are far from perfect and have probably done bad things too, but the Arabs have been far more guilty of committing war crimes and acts of terror against Jewish civilians.
27. Margaret, get your facts right
Khalid ,   The Netherlands   (02.09.07)
Mind you that the first terrorist act (according to your definition) carried out in the region was implemented by a guy named Menahem Begin, when he bombed the King David Hotel killing around hundred people including Jews who do not share his Zionist views. There were many acts like therse against Arab villagers committed by Zionist paramilitary groups, which were later denounced by Israeli leadres like Ben Gurion. All the the events you mentioned were unfortunate reactions to what those para-military groups were doing. Before you talk about Arab atrocities you should investigate history well to find out what led to those atrocities. It is Christian Zionists like you who should try to teach themselves that all humans are equal instead of throwing the miserable accusations of terrorism upon anyione who dioes not share your racist religious views
28. May G. give you strenght to overcome these difficult times
dodo ,   Tel - aviv   (02.09.07)
29. This should be headline news
Liz   (02.09.07)
not a sideline item. Doron and Didi Almog are examples to the world of what it means to be parents. They have devoted their lives to the care of Eran and were instrumental in the establishment of Aleh Negev which serves not only their family but many more Israeli families with severely handicapped children. Their story is an example to all............ God bless them and and comfort them at this sad time in their lives.
30. #27 Khalid you have no class
