Whether its contents are true or false, any article that quotes "knowledgeable sources" shouldn't be printed in self-respecting newspapers. When are we gonna stop printing the news we WANT to be true and start printing the news we KNOW to be true?
Adding a disclaimer to the bottom of the article about the credibility of your source isn't good enough.

This is the man Israel is supposed to give the Golan to for his promises of peace .. once the Golan is gone its gone no getting it back so Assad can do what the hell he likes after that probably by using terrorists based in Lebanon ... no justifictaion to sieize the Golan just because Assad has some terrorists firing rockets at Israel or kidnaping Israelis.
